"My son and I spent 8 days on a house hunting trip. Trish was welcoming, answered our questions, and made us feel at home. It was very relaxing in the evenings as each day was very busy. The house was clean and had everything we needed. I would definitely recommend this as a great place to stay."

  • Supercalafragilistic Expealadocious!

"Our stay in your wonderful home was the highlight of our vacation. Your home exceeded our expectations. It is in a somewhat private and isolated part of the island, but it is so easy to get to all the places of interest (green sand beach, volcano, scenic parks and beaches, even the Kona side, which in our opinion is crowded and somewhat touristy). We were so pleased with the accommodations and working with Barbara was so fun. The sights and sounds from the home are spectacular. We hiked up and down the coastline, watched the whales from the hot tub, rode the bikes, cooked meals and packed lunches for the day and slept listening to the waves lap the coastline every night. Her suggestions on restaurants, grocery stores, things to do were spot on! We couldn't have asked for a better place to spend our vacation. We will definitely be back. Thank you for providing such a relaxing, splendid, accommodating, welcoming place to call home for our time in Hawaii. This was such a blessing to our family. We are so grateful for this experience."

  • SEAWATCH SHINES

"The description and information listed about Sea Watch is spot on-so I am giving you OUR thoughts rather than repeating information. WE LOVED OUR STAY. This was our second visit to Sea Watch. We were there in December of 2013 which was a little too early to whale watch. But this year we saw 30-50 whales. The highlight being a whale so close to the house we could hear it breath! Sea Watch is a home whose back door is 90 feet from the ocean and you can hear the melody of waves breaking on rocks day and night. The home itself is very nicely maintained and extremely clean. The house is very bright and cheery. The ocean views out the back of the house are great-on a windy day you can have sea spray reach the back door! We rent property to be on the ocean-not 1 street away from the ocean and Sea Watch definitely meets our needs. Fishing poles are available (in the closet) if you want to step out the backdoor and try your luck. The owner "Sam" is very nice and very responsible to your needs. If you have a problem she will solve it. We had the TV stop working one evening. Sam came over and tried to get the set to work. After failed efforts she was going to buy a new TV set right then so we could watch TV that night! What other Property Manager does that? We enjoyed the house and its location so much that we would sight see a day and then stay at Sea Watch the alternate day. An important feature of Sea Watch is that it is a premier property with a very reasonable rental rate! John Ramos Sequim, Washington"

  • Girls trip in paradise

"Our stay was fabulous. The house is comfortable, very clean and inviting and in a great location for exploring the Hilo side of the island. Getting used to the song of the male tree frogs and road noise at night took a little getting used to. Morning coffee and evening cocktails on the lanai with the fabulous ocean views was delightful. We even saw a few whales! There are many "must do's" on the island and we did just that--helicopter tour, zipline, segway tour of botanical gardens, volcano national park and the many fabulous beaches and waterfalls in the area. It was a very full 8 days for us. Thank you so much Sandy and Bob for your hospitality, conversation and recommendations for great local restaurants. It was a joy to meet you."
