True Hawaiian Paradise!!
"Our entire family loved staying at this spacious and comfy retreat! We had a big group of about 16 aunties and cousins all staying here for my sisters wedding. We rented out the house and apartment which gave us lots of room for everyone. There were plenty of beds, futons/couches, pillows and bedding for all. Plus 4 full bathrooms! We especially enjoyed how spacious the kitchen, great room and outdoor living areas are. Perfect for group cooking and having family parties!
And if that wasn't enough Starr, the property manager, is just about the nicest and most helpful person you'll ever meet! She greets you warmly as soon as you get there and makes you feel right at home. She's very knowledgeable about the area and goes out of her way to help you enjoy your stay!"

"We greatly enjoyed our stay at this beautiful condo with the ocean view. I was up early several days to try to catch the sunrise and enjoyed watching the ships from the lanai. It was very spacious and with a very well equipped kitchen. There were good tips on what to do in the area and the owners were readily to answer questions. We felt very relaxed by the time we headed home and would definitely stay here again when we come back. Mahalo from Indiana."

"Hilo Hale is conveniently located about 10 minutes drive from downtown Hilo, and close to the KTA grocery store and Prince Kuhio mall. At the same time, it is set in a large garden in a quiet and safe neighbourhood.
The house is spacious, clean and comfortable, as well as light and bright. With plenty of windows to open for a through breeze, the lack of air conditioning is not an issue. The kitchen is rather old-fashioned, but functional with the usual appliances in good working order. No oven and no dishwasher is a bit of a shame in an otherwise well equipped house, but with a toaster oven and the huge old porcelain sink we did fine. The cookware was good and there were a few staples waiting for us, but surprisingly no foil, plastic wrap, or ziplock bags.
Washer and dryer are fine, although located outside and under the kitchen in a very low-ceilinged space where anyone over 5’2 would have to stoop. Laundry detergent was supplied, but nothing else.
It was lovely to have a bathtub, not only a shower, in a nice bathroom. The one bathroom was enough for the two of us, but for four people there could be a bit of a traffic jam.
The location is an excellent base for trips to Hawaii Volcanoes National Park, to Pahoa and Puna, to the string of beaches along Kalanianaole Avenue, to the Hamakua coast, and is also quite handy to the new Saddle Road."

"The house is spotless and everything works great. We finally had a place we could catch up on our laundry. We enjoyed dinners and wine on the water by taking a couple chairs out back. Great internet. We would drive to Hilo everyday, which isn't bad at all. We did the Volcano one day. That also didn't take long to get there. A great deall for this location. The owner sent a guide of things to do. We used that and the Hawaii Revealed book at the home to tour around. So many great places to see. We really discovered this side of the Island. We are already planning our next stay."
