"For our previous stay in the house - there were 6 people, and this time it turned out to be just us two! So the big house seemed even bigger than when we used all the bedrooms. The house is equipped with a good variety of cooking utensils, coffee maker, rice cooker, and plenty of serving items. We would love to rent it again - and bring the whole family along! We came again in February for the second time, so the lack of air conditioner was not an issue - however, each room has a ceiling fan, and the house can be opened on either side to move air through. It was very comfortable for us. People with disabilities can use the first floor - and my husband, recovering from hip surgery this trip, did just great because there were no obstacles between the bedrooms, walk in shower, and wide hallways to the kitchen and living areas!"

"This was a wonderful find close enough to Hilo for us to enjoy Merrie Monarch Festival week yet in the country that was lush with pastoral views. The home was spotless, very open and large size to accommodate my husband and I and our adult daughter and adult niece. The property is over an acre large and there is an ocean view from the large windows. It was wonderful to just sit and enjoy the sounds of nature, hear the birds, watch the goats and cows next door, and breathe in the fresh air after the frequent rains in Hilo. While there we enjoyed outings to the Volcano Winery, Volcano National Park, Ken's Diner (near the airport), Don's (local food), Zippy's, and Starbucks. KTA grocery store was close by so we ate several meals in given the large and well stocked kitchen and stove. Cynthia, the landlady, was very nice and presented us with some fresh, local apple bananas one day for our breakfast; she was accessible throughout our stay. All in all, we thoroughly enjoyed our week long stay and would definitely stay here again should our vacation plans include Hilo."

"Four of us spent a week at this fantastic, two bi-level spacious home. Even though it the occupancy is for 6, there is much more room for more. I agree with the property description, photo and posted reviews. I like the privacy and gated entrance. The property is well maintained by separate lawn and pool services. I had the pleasure of meeting the friendly couple who cleans the house. Even though I have not had the privilege to meet Randall, the property manager, I would like to commend and applaud his services, promptness in replies and communication. Kudos to you, Randall."
