  • Home away from home

"This is a beautiful private home with all of the creature comforts. Well stocked kitchen is great for family gathering around while you prepare food. Outdoor pool area has a spectacular tranquil view, nicely landscaped with an outdoor BBQ. Four poster beds and beautiful bathrooms, flat screen televisions in almost every room. Nice to have a dishwasher and washer/dryer on the premises. Property manager Liz is located nearby and is wonderful. About equal distance from Kona or Hilo (about an hour and a half), so be sure to do your food shopping before. This is definitely not your run of the mill vacation rental. I highly recommend it !!!!"

  • Turtle Hut II was the perfect weekend hideaway!

"We loved our stay at Sea Mountain. The condo was adorable, clean, comfortable and had everything we needed for our 3night stay in the area. We especially appreciated the fresh flowers and the freshly baked goods that awaited our arrival. It felt like a four star hotel. We woke up every morning and hiked along the beautiful black sand beach before heading out for our daily activities. We even got a chance to use the pool and hot tub. The huts are close to Volcano National Park and the South Point, along with quaint restaurants and other places of interest along the way. It's the natural part of Hawaii still pristine and unspoiled. We will definitely come back. Mahalo Barbara"

  • Turtle Hut was the BEST place of all!

"Aloha Barb and thanks for allowing us the pleasure of staying in your beautiful Turtle Hut! We've just returned home to chilly New England and wish we were still sitting outside on the lanai, watching the ocean and feeding the yellow and green birds that appear every morning, asking for breakfast. We stayed in four different places during our trip to Hawaii, and Turtle Hut was the best of all! We loved its location nearby everything we wanted to see and coming "home" to the swimming pool and hot tub at the end of a long days touring was just wonderful. The bed is so comfortable and you have the place so well stocked with everything we could possibly have needed, and more. Even a back scratcher in the shower! We will recommend your place to all of our friends and hope to return again soon! There's still a lot of places we weren't able to see in our short stay."

  • Good place to crash after exploring the southern side of the Big Island.

"Title says it all. There are two cabins behind the Hana Hou Restaurant in Naalehu, which are great places to crash after snorkeling, Punalu'u black sand beach, and Volcano National Park. Breakfast is quite tasty at Hana Hou so plan accordingly."
