"We really enjoyed the lava house. It is so quite out there, such a nice change of pace from Oahu. The wrap around porch is amazing. Plenty of space for our family of five. Linda was waiting when we arrived. She is so nice and friendly. We would definitely stay here again!"

"This is a beautiful home that is well maintained with 3 nice size bedrooms, large showers, and big porch. It was great for our large family of 7. Owner was very easy to work with and got in touch with us quickly. Nice quiet setting between Kona and Hilo. Close to green sand beach and not too far from Hawaii Volcano National Park. We had a great vacation."

"We loved our stay in the yurt - it's extremely comfortable, cozy and homey. The quiet is incredible - we slept amazingly well in the king-sized bed, and we spent some wonderful hours lying on the deck and looking at the crystal clear stars. Also a plus: you don't have to leave the yurt to use the washroom or to shower! We liked the location - as others have said, close to Hawai'i Volcanoes National Park, South Point and Punalu'u. The view of South Point both during the day and at night is pretty awesome. A tip: everything closes by 9, so if you plan to check out the volcano at sunset and then head back to the yurt, as we did, make sure you have your dinner already procured. All in all, this is a beautiful, cozy, clean, quiet, safe, well-equipped place to stay, and a great way to experience yurt living!"
