"We loved the condo. It had everything we needed to enjoy our stay. Although I do think that the dusting could be improved....the plants inside the home were layered with dust, which is my only complaint with the condo. My only other biggest complaint is that the condo manager was not very reaponsive to our questions. He either took hours to respond and at the end of the trip when we had an urgent need to talk with him...he never responded. Other than that it was a great location and a beautiful condo! We really enjoyed our stay!!"

"A quiet, spacious, gorgeous home that has everything. Great views and very comfortable. Victor and Peter are so helpful with any questions. Close to the best beaches on the planet and the amenity package is fantastic. It was our best vacation stay ever."

"We (two couples) spent a great 11 days at Banyan House in late April 2015. It is a delightful location for a non-resort experience of the Big Island. As others have noted, the house itself is lovely, with pretty much everything you could ask for, and we spent many pleasant mornings and evenings there. It’s within walking distance of Kekaha Kai State Park and a short drive to the Pololu Valley Lookout and its trail down to a black sand beach. The small towns of Kapaau and Hawi are nearby, and we enjoyed the local restaurants, the Saturday farmers’ market, and getting fresh eggs from a small farm close by.
Mike Bailey, the local caretaker, was a great help to us as well, giving us tips on good beaches, places off the beaten path to see, and even hacking open coconuts for us. One evening he screened a movie for us on the side of the small church next door.
We got great weather, with the occasional rain coming in mostly at night, and we spent a lot of time on the lanai just enjoying the breezes, the sound of the breaking waves, the birds, and even the occasional cow or two in the field of tall grass a short distance away. The banyan tree that dominates one side of the yard is truly a wonder.
As for driving, it was about 45 minutes down the Kohala/Kona side to the Mauna Lani and Waikoloa resort areas, and along the way there is a good place to get fresh fish for grilling back at the house. The beautiful drive from Kapaau or Hawi to Waimea takes about 35 to 40 minutes, and you can continue on over to the Hilo side of the island from there."

"A friend and I experienced a fabulous week ( definitely not long enough! ) staying at this lovely, very well-appointed condo. Everything that you could possibly need was provided, from kitchen supplies to beach gear.
The condo itself is beautifully decorated and extremely spacious, with more comfortable living space on the huge lanai. We felt very spoiled indeed!
It also is situated in a scenic, quiet spot, yet close to the beach access trail for our morning walks. Many beautiful beaches are within a 10 minute drive, north or south.
Sylvia was a pleasure to deal with, from my first inquiries up to and including while we were in Hawaii.
This condo should be at the top of your list if you're seeking comfort, luxury and everything at your fingertips!!"
