"We had the most wonderful time on the Big Island and just LOVED Halii Kai 5C. We arrived late in the evening and found the condo very clean and in great shape. We were travelling with our two college sons and it was great having two beds in the second bedroom as well as a second bath for them. The master is towards the golf course side of the unit so we had privacy. Just about every night we'd walk up to the Ocean Club to enjoy the sunset -- that place is beautiful and our only regret is not having enough time to spend there as we often spent our days golfing in the morning (the golf deal with this condo is fantastic!) and heading to a sandy beach for the afternoon. I am a runner and did the Waikola loop every morning and enjoyed seeing everyone out walking and running. Thank you Yuki for helping arrange our stay. We really appreciate your efforts! When we visited Hawaii in the past, we often go to Maui (Kehei area) but I think we just fell in love with the Big Island, especially if we stay at the Halii Kai again. Can't wait to return!"

"This Puako updated and well furnished home was lovely for my husband our daughter and her boyfriend. Their bedroom was at opposite end of the house from ours. The house come with a well equipped kitchen as well as a generous supply of towels. Great ocean views with whales beyond and turtles and an eel just beyond the sea wall, wonderful lanai, comfy sofas, great TV, & outdoor shower. 2 Papayas met our every need. Only drawback: all doors are slatted for good airflow, but they do prevent privacy."

"Our stay at the Mango House was nothing short of amazing. My wife and I were looking for an escape from city life and from the East coast winter cold, and this beautiful home provided just the break that we needed.
As you arrive at the Mango House you immediately realize that you are in entering your own private slice of paradise. The house sits on a spacious lot full of tropical flora. The sights and sounds of the rain forest surround you. We especially enjoyed being lulled to sleep by the ocean surf, wildlife and the wind rustling the palm fronds at night. The house itself is tastefully decorated and very well appointed. The beds were incredibly comfortable. The den and kitchen are open and inviting allowing for a perfect environment for preparing dinner and relaxing. All the appliances were in perfect working condition.
Our favorite feature by far of the Mango house were the lanais. The lanai on the first floor spans the entire perimeter of the house with comfortable lounges and tables. We had many a post-beach beverage on the downstairs porch. We also took full advantage of the grill on the first floor lanai. The upstairs lanai, while smaller provides the perfect spot to have a cup of coffee while watching the sun rise or to gaze at the plethora of stars at night.
Shortly after arriving your will fall into the rhythm of 'island life.' Be sure to take advantage of the local fruit offerings in the neighborhood. You will find fruit stands at the end of driveways; most accepting payment via the honor method. Be sure to also stop by the Kohala Coffee Mill.
It was truly an incredible experience. Mahalo Mango House!"

"This condo and the Kolea development as a whole truly exceeded our expectations! The condo itself is beautifully appointed--welcoming yet so very elegant; large kitchen that was fun to use with top-notch appliances. There were plenty of dishes, cookware and even plastic storage containers for leftovers. It was so nice to have 2 large bathrooms so each bedroom is like a master suite. We appreciated the top-quality interior--even the sliding doors to the lanai were a piece of art! And talk about easy access to the beach!!! Just a short, lovely path leads to the unbelievably gorgeous pool area, and then through a gate to the beach itself. Even though I had looked over this listing many times, I was unprepared for just how amazing this pool area was and it was wonderful to have such easy beach access. From the pool area you can walk almost a mile along the beach--and if you want to drive, Hapuna Beach with it's white sand and clear water is not too far away. There is a Foodland grocery store in Mauna Lani, just 4 miles away, and Costco near the airport. If you are searching for a perfect location and a peaceful, comfortable, truly lovely place to stay on the Big Island, this is it."
