  • Ulu Niu -our adopted Hawaiian home!

"We just finished our 12th stay (one at Kolea and the rest at Ulu Niu). We feel like we are coming home each time...to a wonderfully livable home, a fabulous beach, and amazing snorkeling. We have seen scads of fish, eels, turtles, manta rays...all in "our own bay"! We bring family and friends with us as newbies to the islands each time and find the location is convienient to all the wonderful sites like Volcanoes, Waipio Valley, Popolu Valley, and shopping/dining at the nearby resorts. We only wish we could stay longer and return more frequently! Best of all, our youngest daughter became engaged on the beach thus trip!"

  • Aloha . . .

"We stayed in the home for just over a week. The house is as nice as shown and the view is beautiful. we have rented a number of homes from VRBO and this one was one of the most well supplied homes we have stayed in. The house is large and very comfortable. This was our first visit to Hawaii and we found the location convienient. The owners were great to work with and very acoomodating. We would definitely return. If you are here over the 4th of July it is a great location to watch the fireworks."

  • Perfect!

"This cottage is wonderful. The location is terrific- great snorkeling right outside your front door and beautiful sunsets to view from the deck. We loved how cozy and comfortable everything was. The cottage is beautifully maintained. We didn't want to leave."

  • I Wish That We Never Had to Leave

"This was our first visit to the Big Island, and if we had the opportunity to stay at the villas again, it, definitely, won't be our last! If you want to stay away from the bustle that is Oahu, then the Big Island and Maui are the ideal destinations. The villa was well-maintained, and had all of the amenities, making the property feel more like home. The beach was a short drive away, as was a nearby convenience/grocery store that had all of the basic necessities. The villa's community was extremely peaceful and quiet, which is precisely how we preferred our getaway to be. Overall, our experience was very pleasant, and our stay at the villa will always be a memorable one for my family and me. Cheers."

Kohala Estates Travel Tips

Great Vacations With Kohala Estates Condos

Countless tourists and vacationers choose Kohala Estates condos when visiting beautiful Hawaii. After all, staying in a home away from home is a wonderful way to both relax and have convenient access to all kinds of fun amenities. Unfortunately, motels and hotels are often lacking when it comes to sufficient lodging. This is because they fail to offer guests an at-home feeling or true relaxation when vacationing. On the other hand, Kohala Estates house rentals provide visitors with the type of atmosphere and space they need to enjoy their stay in Kohala.

Finding the right place to dine can often be a challenge on vacation or when visiting a new area. However, when you stay in Kohala Estates condos, there are a number of eateries to select from. For great Hawaiian cuisine, you should consider Brown's Beach House. This restaurant is well rated by tourists and locals alike. You can discover Mediterranean cuisine at Cafe Pesto on the Kohala Coast. However, if you are in the mood for steaks and pork chops, then you should look no further than the Coast Grille. Plenty of seafood hotspots are available for you to enjoy when you stay in Kohala Coast vacation rentals.
