  • We never tired of the view

"Jeannie and I and another couple stayed 8 days at Hawaii Honeymoon House (HHH) August 2014. Where do we start to describe this house? Our flight got in late so our friends took the bags ahead to the house; we stopped for a few groceries. Before we left the store I got a text to “hurry up, this place is amazing!” We were beat, but we sat by the fire pit listening to the silence, gazing at the stars, and talking until we could not stay awake. The next morning we hooked the iPad up to the sound system, opened the huge sliding glass doors, and ate breakfast on the lanai. The view never gets old. The house is perfectly clean, beautiful, and modern. It was so pleasant to spot the 6 palms returning home every day after being out exploring the island. After eating on the lanai we usually retired to the home theater or sat by the hot tub talking. Writing this review is allowing all the pleasant memories of our time at HHH to return and make me happy. Victoria was pleasant and professional at every point of the rental process. She bought us little gifts and made us feel very welcome. We have only been back a month and we’re planning our next trip to Hawai’i and will definitely stay at the HHH again. Aloha and Mahalo Victoria"

  • We'll be back!!!

"We had a fantastic time in the luxurious, spacious Welina house! We are a family of 5 and travelled with my husband's sister and daughter. With 3 adults and 4 teenagers, we needed a place with some space and a fully equipped kitchen. We rented the house and guesthouse. The house was a 12 minute drive to two of the most gorgeous beaches on the island, Puako and Mauna Kea. There was also an excellent fish market at the bottom of the hill and fantastic shave ice/icecream place (I recommend the white chocolate ginger icecream, but all flavors were excellent). After each day at the beach, we enjoyed having dinner in the fully equipped kitchen/dining area and watching the gorgeous peaceful sunsets by the pool. The house is about 10 degrees cooler than down by the beach, so much more comfortable. Sometimes it was pretty windy so we only used the jacuzzi/pool a few times. There were lots of movies and games for the family too. All in all, the description was accurate, the photos reflect the amenities, the property was clean and well-maintained, Pam was very helpful in answering questions/concerns, and we will definitely recommend this property to friends and relatives. We hope to come back too!"

  • Fantastic

"The old adage, "if it's too good to be true..." simply doesn't apply here. I carefully vetted the property before sending in my deposit. We had expected to spend a couple of our 10 nights re-exploring Puna and southern Kona. But the house had other plans for us. Farmers markets, Waipo, Pololu, mushroom farm, local beef, local fish, early morning drives up to Mountain Rd, saying hello to the cows and horses, late morning returns on Humpback Highway. strolls thru Lapakahi State park, lunch at the Four Seasons or Sushi Rocks, or breakfast at Hawaiian Style. We found it impossible to leave the house for more then a few hours, and there is so much to see in the area in just a few hours. Most meals we cooked in. The fully appointed pantry was a joy. There was even a gluten free toaster! Staying here was a true gift. We will cherish the memories and hope to return. Mahalo"
