"Jeannie and I and another couple stayed 8 days at Hawaii Honeymoon House (HHH) August 2014. Where do we start to describe this house? Our flight got in late so our friends took the bags ahead to the house; we stopped for a few groceries. Before we left the store I got a text to “hurry up, this place is amazing!” We were beat, but we sat by the fire pit listening to the silence, gazing at the stars, and talking until we could not stay awake. The next morning we hooked the iPad up to the sound system, opened the huge sliding glass doors, and ate breakfast on the lanai. The view never gets old. The house is perfectly clean, beautiful, and modern. It was so pleasant to spot the 6 palms returning home every day after being out exploring the island. After eating on the lanai we usually retired to the home theater or sat by the hot tub talking. Writing this review is allowing all the pleasant memories of our time at HHH to return and make me happy. Victoria was pleasant and professional at every point of the rental process. She bought us little gifts and made us feel very welcome. We have only been back a month and we’re planning our next trip to Hawai’i and will definitely stay at the HHH again. Aloha and Mahalo Victoria"

"We had a great stay. The villa was lovely and came equipped with everything we needed for the beach and around the house. The location was nice, but you will definitely need a car as things are quite spaced out along the coast. Our only complaint would be that there were quite a few Mosquitos on the deck, especially in the morning when it would have otherwise been really lovely to sit outside and enjoy a coffee. I would definitely recommend it and would love to go back!"

"My husband and I stayed in the Suite for about 6 weeks with our golden retriever, Toko. All three of us had an amazing time. Toko had his own fenced in yard and a large lanai with a dog bed! Toko also enjoyed walks around the ranch, where he could smell the ocean! We spent many evenings watching the sunset over the ocean while Toko played with John and Deborah's dogs in the front yard.
John and Deborah were excellent hosts. Not only were they available if we needed anything, but John gave us an excellent tip to get parking at Mauna Kea Beach. Mauna Kea Beach is one of the best beaches on the island, but parking through the resort often fills up before 9AM. Ask John how to always have a spot!
The Suite had everything we needed for a long stay. They really pay attention to details - for example they bought a new convection cooktop and switched out all of our non-compatible pots and pans. I've stayed in rentals that had several pans that would not work on the convection cooktop. This is just one example of their attention to the details.
I highly recommend this rental. We plan on returning!"

"This is an absolutely beautiful home, located in a gated community on the side of an extinct volcano with terrific views of the ocean.
The house is quite private with a distinctive Tuscan feel to it. Built around a center courtyard, it is well-furnished with a quiet and air-conditioned bedroom wing and comfortable public rooms. The kitchen is well equipped and large.
The lanai, where we spent most of our time, is superb. The covered section is reminiscent of an Italian villa, the pool is large and heated and the grounds are well maintained. The lanai is perfect for whale-watching in the morning with that second cup of coffee, or enjoying the sunsets with a gin and tonic while grilling a fresh caught opakapaka - absolute heaven!
The owners - Sue and Dave - are great to work with and are very intent that your visit is memorable.
There are simply not enough superlatives to describe this house. What better recommendation than to say we had reserved it for next year before we departed this
