"Perfect location for Kailua-Kona and Kohala coast adventures. We also ventured to Hilo and HI Volcano National Park but were ready to get back and relax. Morning coffee with the geckos was fantastic and the rising sunlight coming down the hillside onto the property revealed a truly special place. We both felt very fortunate to be surrounded by such beauty. Secluded, quiet yet accessible. Everything needed for Island exploration is onsite...beach chairs, cooler, snorkel gear and books. My girlfriend now wants an outdoor shower. Would love to return! Thank you again Kalia!"

The property manager was more than helpful.
The vacation rental was spotless.
I was very happy with the location.
I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental.
Overall, I recommend this vacation rental.
Perfect size for family of three with teen sleeping on sofa bed. Basic furnishings but everything you need. Beautiful view of fish ponds, jumping fish were fun. Well stocked with linens, beach gear, kitchenware, etc. Very quiet complex, beach right around the corner and second beach short walk. Many beautiful white sand beaches in this area so we only drove to one Kona beach."

"You get everything you see in the pictures plus so much more. The garage is amazing: there were life jackets for the kids (infant and toddler), bikes for the adults, plenty of sand and beach toys, chairs, and shade umbrellas. We were absolutely thrilled with the house and with Waikaloa. Like the other reveiwers said, you can walk to everything you need (restaurants, small grocery store, shops, and the beach). We were happy to have a car to check out some other beaches (the kids loved Hapuna), to visit the volcano tubes, and to grocery shop at the Costco in Kona (much cheaper than the local store). Highly recommend this house and this town."

"Spacious layout, beautifully decorated and furnished, complete kitchen/appliances, luxurious bath amenities. It sounds cliche but all of it's true! Sitting on the lanai sipping our cocktails, watching the sunset glow. We truly enjoyed our stay. Close to shops, beaches, restaurants (Tropics Ale House was VERY convenient and Lava Lava Beach Club was great - make a reservation). The 'Welcome' fruit basket and coffee were greatly appreciated. There is a small home library that includes books on the flora/fauna of The Big Island, as well as some guide books. All of these were very helpful and well-used. Owners were easy to contact and responsive in every way. We snorkeled everyday at nearby beaches, drove to Keauhou Bay and took a Sea Quest boat trip, visited the Volcanoes National Park (a very long drive, but doable), had ice cream in Hawi, and just plain relaxed in our home away from home. A perfect way to celebrate our anniversary. We would definitely come back!"
