  • Best spot in Waikoloa. Location, view, layout, design, comfort, sunset on lanai every night.

"We are a multigenerational family with a toddler and this was the perfect rental. The upper floor has a view of the ocean sunset from the lanai of which we never tired. The lanai is spacious enough for the family to relax or have dinner comfortably and if you open the doors fully the living room becomes a tropical lanai of its own. The furnishings are beautiful and comfortable, the kitchen fantastic and well equipped and the layout great with beautiful and spacious baths. Local support was immediate when we called with a question. Even at this high season, the property, beach and pool were never crowded and we always got chairs. Additionally the condo has very nice folding chairs and an umbrella along with several beach towels. The pool and a very nice beach are an easy walk and it's a short drive to Hapuna or other beaches. The shops were a short drive or pleasant walk. Lava Lava club is a beautiful bar/restaurant right there on the beach and there is a Marriott nearby, convenient for dining when the other restaurants close early but far enough away and well hidden so you can't really tell it's there from the property. We had a car but with the hotel nearby you could probably book a tour from that location. We went to Volcano, Mauna Kea Observatory, (SUPER recommended if you like stars), Akaka Falls as easy day trips while others stayed at the beach. Beach is great for toddlers or older swimmers with easy rentals of stand up paddle, kayak or snorkeling equipment. Nice snorkeling with fish and turtles. Highly recommended, best spot of the entire Waikoloa resort, (and we walked it and saw lots of properties!)"

  • A Beautiful Piece of Paradise

""My husband, adult daughter and I stayed in this beautiful condo from January 1-9, 2015. What an amazing place! Very, spacious and tastefully decorated. Having large decks wrap around the corner made for enjoying beautiful views of the grounds, a sunset and partial ocean view. The pool and grounds were lovely. My husband was pleased to use the fitness room daily. The location was perfect for walking to the beach, shopping or just exploring the area. The basket left for us was filled with delicious fruit for us to indulge in. We appreciated the "phone hand shake" from Roger along with him checking in with us our first day to make sure everything was in order. We would highly recommend Liz and Roger's condo to anyone making the trip to the Big Island. A perfect place in Paradise! The Waikoloa Beach area is our favorite location on the island. We would love to visit again. Thank you so much for sharing." - Jill J.,"

  • Aloha . . .

"We stayed in the home for just over a week. The house is as nice as shown and the view is beautiful. we have rented a number of homes from VRBO and this one was one of the most well supplied homes we have stayed in. The house is large and very comfortable. This was our first visit to Hawaii and we found the location convienient. The owners were great to work with and very acoomodating. We would definitely return. If you are here over the 4th of July it is a great location to watch the fireworks."

  • Peaceful Rainy Getaway

"The Bamboo suite is beautiful and quiet. It is connected to a larger rental on the property, but still felt very private. We hardly saw our neighbors. It rained nearly every night during our early March stay, but it was only a 30 minute drive to the sunny coast. It was nice to cool off a bit on the Lanai after a day at the beach. Our only complaints are that the outdoor shower did not drain properly and the internet connection is hit or miss. Otherwise we had a lovely stay. Also, make sure to stop at GJ's Huli Chicken for lunch! It was the best (and cheapest) meal that we had in Hawaii. They set up a bbq next door to the Hawi visitors center on Thursdays."
