  • Beautiful Home with Infinity Pool and fantastic views of the ocean and golf course

"My family and I loved this house and would recommend it to anyone. One, the home had quality furnishings and was tastefully decorated with high end art. Two, it was a perfect fit for the two of us, our Daughter and her Boyfriend, our two Grandchildren and our Son. Three, the entire family loved the Pool and the Jacuzzi. The covered patio and outdoor dining table were large enough to seat all of us. And the stars were spectacular at night!"

  • Ultimate Retreat!

"My husband and I and another couple booked this home for a much needed getaway this Fall. We have been vacationing at the Mauna Kea resort for almost a decade and we were so happy that we chose this Fairways home instead of staying at the hotel! The home was beautiful and exactly as pictured. We absolutely loved the home's decor and found the furnishings to be very comfortable (including the beds!) and much more updated than the hotel rooms. The home is situated perfectly for two couples as we each had our own end of the home and each bedroom had equally beautiful views and privacy. My husband swam laps every morning in the pool and we had dinner on the outdoor deck almost every night (the property manager suggested some great Farmer's Markets in the nearby town of Waimea and we had home cooked organic meals everyday-much cheaper and better quality than the typical hotel food one finds around here). We also purchased the resort pass which we found to be very reasonably priced and received all the perks of being a hotel guest. We had one issue getting the outdoor speakers to work and the property manager came right over to help us. This was definitely the relaxing retreat that we needed and is the only way we will be vacationing at the Mauna Kea from now on. I highly recommend this home to anybody who wants the full resort experience but with the flexibility to retreat to your own private sanctuary. Thank you for sharing your beautiful home with us!"

  • Best vacation ever...every aspect truly IMPRESSIVE. From the service to the amenities...WOW!!!

"I'm almost hesitant to write this review for fear of EVERYONE discovering this absolute gem and totally overrunning the place. But, it's too hard not to gush... From my very first inquiry, Molly (the owner) was extremely helpful, communicative, responsive, and basically exuded the warmth of aloha. We rent homes all the time for our vacations, and by far, she is the best owner I have dealt with yet. All the logistics went extremely smoothly, and prior to our arrival, she periodically sent emails with various information about everything from checking in, things to do on the island, restaurant recommendations, to grocery lists. When we arrived at the home, everything about it was spectacular. The pictures certainly did the place justice, but in person, it was all that more beautiful. And CLEAN. I don't know how old these properties are, but this one is extremely well maintained and darn near immaculate. The decor and furnishings were gorgeous and led to the warm, inviting feel of the home. The two master bedrooms were perfect for us (there were 2 couples and 3 kids), and the kids had plenty of room in the 3rd bedroom. The kitchen and bathrooms were wonderful, as was the outdoor patio (we loved being able to just sit out there and enjoy the views in the morning, then use the grill for dinners). Additionally, the home was well stocked with everything a family needs to enjoy their vacation (beach towels, coolers, boogie boards and snorkeling gear - a MAJOR plus as this saves you from getting ripped off at the rental places.) It was obvious Molly had put a lot of thought into making sure their home had all of the amenities necessary for travelling families coming into Hawaii. I haven't even gotten to the amenity center or access to the resorts. Already we were blown away and these just put it over the top for us. The pool and fitness center within the complex are a short walk up the street. Those itself are gorgeous (did I say gorgeous already? I think that's going to be a theme here...!). They even had a nice clubhouse you could access, grills, tables, and a jacuzzi. And likely because we traveled at the end of summer, the place was practically empty. THEN, there's the access to the resorts - both Mauna Kea and Hapuna Beach Prince. SO worth it. Top notch resorts with spectacular beaches. All of these aspects by far made this one of, if not THE, best vacation ever. WILL REPEAT. MULTIPLE times....CAN'T WAIT until next year!!!"
