  • Better than ever!

"We just returned from our sixth stay at Dave and Sandy's lovely condo, and our trip could not have been better! Not only is the penthouse condo itself serene and quiet (a must for me!), but the private beach club offers an idyllic and secluded cove in which to snorkel (best spot on the island!) with no crowds. Where else in the world can you float in warm blue water with a view of three volcanoes -- Haleakala (on Maui), Kohala and Mauna Kea? Look no further if you're planning a vacation on the sunny Gold Coast of the Big Island: This nicely updated, clean, comfortable and conveniently located condo -- with its incomparable views and easy access to great golf and restaurants -- is truly as good as it gets!"

  • Everything Promised and Then Some

"Our trip was fantastic, and the condo as our home base was one of the main reasons. It is really beautiful and comfortable and most important to us, it felt furnished (furniture, kitchenware, utensils, etc.) like I would furnish my own home. The location is perfect, even better than staying in the hotel. Midpoint between the Mauna Lani and the Beach Club is ideal. We walked over to each on multiple occasions and it's a super easy walk. I won't bother including a picture from the lanai; you know what it looks like. Spectacular. We were threatened with a hurricane during our stay. But we went to Costco upon arrival at the airport and stocked up with steaks, pizza, frozen shrimp and wine. The only impact of the hurricane was that all the employees went home at 2PM. The weather the rest of the day was very pleasant (even the wind was kind of enjoyable and pleasant) and the beaches were accessible. That evening we grilled the steaks by the pool, ate on the lanai and thoroughly enjoyed the evening, watching the hurricane not happen. I felt bad for hotel guest whose only option was a massive buffet at the hotel. Finally, Cathy, the local contact, is a great representative for the owner. She was incredibly accommodating in making the stay more comfortable, including an air mattress for one of my 20 something sons and boogie boards to play with. I don’t know when we'll return to Hawaii, but I would absolutely look forward to staying at this place again. Highly recommended."

  • Stunning Condo!

"We could not have imagined a better condo for our family vacation. This was our family's third visit to the Big Island. Our first visit, we stayed at The Hapuna Prince which was lovely. Five years ago, we stayed at The Mauna Lani Resort and loved it. While staying there, we kept noticing these condos on our walk over to the beach. With our two kids being teenagers now, we thought it would be nice to have a little more room (plus a washer). What a great decision to stay in H103. It is truly a wonderful condo. The buildings and the layout of the condos is suburb. Wonderful quality throughout. Exquisite grounds full of lush tropical plants, ancient fish ponds, large lawns and miles of paved paths for walking and jogging. This condo is on the ground floor which we loved. We used the back door much more than the front. The pool is steps from the back door. You can see the ocean from the back patio with no obstructions. The walk to the sandy beach is short (8-10 min) and very lovely. The snorkeling there is excellent. We saw turtles and manta ray. The two bedrooms are spacious, quiet and comfortable. I slept like a baby. The master has a view of the ocean, while the 2nd bedroom looks out onto a gorgeous tropical courtyard. The bathrooms were wonderful too. The master bath could be on the cover of a magazine, very elegant. We loved that there we're live plants (orchids!) in every room, even the baths. There were 2 boogie boards to use, plus a nice beach umbrella. The owner was very easy to work with. We found it very hard to leave and I am already dreaming of a return to this condo and The Big Island."

  • Paradise condo at Mauna Lani

"Rating Details: I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. I was very happy with the location. The vacation rental was spotless. The property manager was very helpful. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This was an elegant 2-bedroom condo that was comfortable yet beautiful. The spacious vacation villa was located a short distance from Kiluaea Kona and the "Saddle Highway" that runs between the two dominant volcanos on the island. It was the perfect vacation condo on this unique island. We will return!"
