  • BEST VACATION EVER!

"This property was the nicest vacation rental we have ever had the privilege of staying in. There were 6 of us in our group- 4 adults and 2 children ages 6 and 8-- and we all had a fabulous time with plenty of room to spread out. The pictures of the property had us all excited, but we were all taken back with how beautiful this home was when we arrived. It was clean and just had a very homey feel to it--we were so happy with all the furnishings and how well equipped it was. Certainly hope to return in the near future-- If your looking ford a rental, you won't be disappointed with this villa."

  • Exceptional condition

"We had a wonderful few months in this home. It was what I was hoping for in a rental and we received more than we usually do with vacation rentals. The owners were a pleasure to work with and I would certainly recommend this property to anyone looking to be on the Big Island."

  • Magnificent Vacation Home for Family or Multiple Couples!

"Our family just spent an absolutely wonderful week relaxing and enjoying this Mauna Lani resort home. It isn’t just a place to sleep, but is a true luxury home equipped with everything we could possibly want for a splendid vacation, providing for a restful retreat within our vacation! We’ve been to the Big Island before and wanted a place where the family could unwind in comfort each day, but with easy access to the Kohala beaches and shopping. Villa Hui was perfect. We found ourselves spending lots of time unwinding in the private pool, watching shooting stars at night from the hammock and lounge chairs in the yard, and sipping espressos on the lanai. The house is gorgeously and tastefully decorated. Everything was freshly redone, whether it was the furniture (very comfortable beds in all three rooms!) or the beautiful, local art. Each bedroom has its own bathroom and enormous walk-in closet. And while each room had its own shower, everyone seemed to want to use the outdoor, lava rock shower. It was very decadent. While we were there as a family, the three master bedrooms could definitely accommodate three couples (with more sleeping space available on the sleeper sofa in the TV room). Everything we needed for meal prep and presentation was available, including quality appliances, utensils, and a top-end barbecue. As noted above, we quickly fell in love with the Nespresso, which is fully stocked with different espressos. A regular coffee maker is also available. The Villages at Mauna Lani is attractive, but not all the properties are detached homes or have a private pool. We loved the peace and privacy of the detached home. And having our own private pool/hut tub was definitely worth it. We all appreciated being able take a dip first thing in the morning, without having to gather towels and toys and leave the house. After a long day at the beach, it was also great to have a relaxing swim at the end of each day and watch the moon rise. Free access to the beach club (shady parking!) was a nice bonus! We also enjoyed being close to the Shops at Mauna Lani, which made grocery shopping easy. One of us could easily walk over (5-10 mins) to grab extra groceries or shop for souvenirs, clothing, or island decor, or we could all stroll for dinner and cocktails. We will treasure our family memories at Villa Hui. We are an active family, and this gracious home provided an island haven to rest and reconnect during our holiday."
