  • Stunning -The property and the Island

"Aloha ! The condo is absolutely stunning. A perfect place to stay when visiting The Big Island. Spotless and beautifully decorated. The kitchen was equipped with everything we needed, including cooking essential spices and ingredients. While there are plenty of great restaurants, and trust me, we tried them all, it was also nice to use the grills and enjoy a home cooked meal on the veranda. Breakfast on the veranda was a great way to start the day. For best grocery prices and produce selection, recommend shopping at Safeway or Cosco in Kona. Our favorite restaurants: The Big Island Grill (Beef Teriyaki), Bamboo, Lava Lava, Huggo's, The Canoe Club to name a few. Blue Hawaiian Helicopter rides are great...prices better out of Hilo. Fair Winds Hula Kae Breakfast / Lunch snorkel, was our favorite. Luau at Hilton is ok...but try to find an authentic luau on a beach somewhere. October was the perfect time to go. We felt like we had the beaches and pools pretty much to ourselves. We will be back. Thanks again for sharing this beautiful home, in this beautiful setting. Mahala"

  • Nice stay at this Waikoloa beach condo. We felt at home.

"The condo is located near the end which allows for privacy and quite evenings. Yet the BBQ and pool are conveniently close. If you like to exercise there is a gym, but we found that an early morning walk around Queens Market courtyard and along the golf course to be a more pleasant exercise. This property is nicely decorated, clean and comfortable with a serene garden area off the lanai for enjoying the morning coffee or an evening after a day of beach or sightseeing. The condo's kitchen is well stocked. The Pack and Play was helpful with our grandchild. This condo is especially good for a family with small children since it is on the ground floor. Barbara, the owner is very responsive to phone calls and texts. She very helpful with information and making sure you have what you need for your stay. The Queens Market and Kings Shops are a quick walk where you find shops, a food court and restaurants. "A" beach is close by. You can walk it in a few minutes or drive and park in the lot in a of couple minutes. If you like to avoid driving 18 miles to Kona for groceries at Costco, Walmart, Safeway, there is the Waikoloa Village a few miles away where you will find the Waikoloa Village Market which offers a large selection and better pricing for groceries than the markets at the Queens Market or the King Shops. Also at Waikoloa Village is the Lava Cafe which has nice outdoor seating to relax and have a meal. You can get there by exiting Waikoloa Resort and turning left (north) onto Hwy 19 (Queens Hwy). Go a couple miles and turn right onto Waikoloa Drive and continue until you see Waikoloa Village on the left. If you plan to sight-see around the island allow yourself an early start so you can get back to this condo and relax. It was a great place for us to relax and enjoy the end of the day."

  • Gorgeous Condo With An At-Home Feel

"This condo is beautiful! As soon as we walked in we were greeted with the gorgeous palm tree décor. The elegant kitchen has everything you could want, just as if you were at home. Everything was in perfect working order, very clean, and well kept. The beach equipment was perfect for the kids, and adults as well. The condo also had some things I was very pleased to find, such as, hydrogen peroxide, that I use for cleaning certain baby items, as well as cold medicine for my toddler, who ended up getting sick on our trip. I was going to have to make a run to the store at 10pm if I had not found that. This place literally had everything I could ever want. It's also super close to our favorite beach, you can walk there, and the Kings and Queens market places were fun to visit and have great restaurants, we went there almost every day. We would absolutely stay here again!"

  • Perfect First Time Trip To The Big Island!

"My husband and I can not praise this condo, it's location and the owner, Jim, enough! It is beautifully decorated, can not think of a thing you would need that is not there. Jim was so helpful and accommodating as we were scheduled to be there during the hurricane so had some plans get changed. Jim helped us out with this and in fact got to stay at a second place of his as well( #349642). Both are wonderful! #349642 a bit noiser due to having someone above you with this unit. Location allows you to see the entire island without ever feeling like you are driving for long periods of time without seeing beautiful sites. Everywhere you drive, you see incredible things!! We would suggest the following: Drive around the entire island (at least one) - a very relaxing 8 hour day with many stops along the way. Must go to South Point (Cliff jumping and Green Sand Beach), Great snorkeling at Pu'uhonua O Honaunau (Place of Refuge). Farmers Market in Captain Cook on Sundays 9-2pm, * Good grocery store there which is cheaper than the one in the Queen's Market area. Drive up the Kohala Coast, stop in Hawi and then hike to Pololu Valley Lookout. Have to go to The Blue Dragon for dinner - awesome place. Just north on 19 to 270. Driving along rt 250 is incredible green rolling hills with big vistas. Hike in a tropical forest to Akaka Falls near Hilo. In Hilo, eat at the Pineapple Grill! The Saddle Road/rt 200 splits the Island in half making visiting the other side of the island very accessbile. For a white sand beach just 5-10 minutes away - go to Hapuna Beach State Park $5.00 to park for the day and gets you access to a second beach near by which has LOTS of shade. Best shopping for gifts, probably Kona area. Need to walk through the Hilton Waikaloa Resort. We could go on and on but hopefully this gives a reason to come and stay!"
