  • Family fun

"3 sibling couples and their spouses had a relaxing holiday in our rented condo. We cooked and baked daily and enjoyed the launi each evening for delicious dinners. Costco and the Kona farmer's market were our favorite places to grocery shop. The condo was fairly well equipped but it could have had an electric mixer, (we had to whip our cream and birthday cake by hand) a garlic press and a salad spinner. We did have some issues with the fridge freezing our produce but we learned to wrap them all in brown paper bags. All the beds were comfortable and it was quiet at night. We enjoyed the pool and hot tub and loved the fact that we could walk to the shops and big hotels. We did lots of snorkeling and beach trips. We were thankful for the cooler and beach equipment. The condo met our expectations but it would look better with some fresh paint on the baseboards and some wall touch-ups. We all enjoyed the facilities and Heidi was great at getting the men signed up for discounted golf. We'd recommend this condo to others."

  • Beautiful ocean front condo

"My family stayed in Helen's beautiful condo in Hali'i Kai in March 2015 and we couldn't have been happier with our stay. The location is perfect -- ocean front and less than a minute walk to the pool and restaurant. There is fantastic whale watching from the lanai (the spot must be known for whale watching because we observed many whale watching boats directly in front of the condo). And the beautiful sunsets can't be beat. The bar/restaurant served great food and drinks and the pool was kid friendly. There is an area in the pool where the depth is about as deep as a first step in a pool and our infant son greatly enjoyed splashing and playing while seated, like he does in the bath. Hali'i Kai provides resort-like amenities without the over-crowdedness of a resort. And I don't think many resorts have rooms as close to the ocean as Helen's condo at a reasonable price considering the condo provides a fully-stocked kitchen. And with an infant who goes to sleep around dinner time, a condo is a must. Finally, Helen was very responsive and helpful, and provided excellent restaurant recommendations. We ended up eating at Sansei in the Queen Shops, twice. Excellent food and service, with great early-bird pricing."

  • The best place we have ever stayed!

"We enjoyed our stay in this unit at Waikoloa Beach Villas. It was by far the best accommodations we've encountered in all of Hawaii. Very clean and comfortable. We enjoyed the lanai and the comfortable bed. The beaches are amazing in this area and being here during humpback season is wonderful. They jump right out of the water. It is an amazing sight to see. This was my partner's 2nd trip and my 4th trip to the big island. We've stayed in Kona once and I've stayed in Waikoloa village twice but never in Waikoloa by the ocean. This is by far our favorite spot and accommodation on the Big Island. We have already recommended this condo unit to our family and friends. We are already planning our return. Better book your spot while you can :-)"

  • Hawaiian Honeymoon

"Where do I start! What a wonderful location for a Honeymoon. We had not been to Hawaii before, the Big Island was a good choice, you do need a car to take advantage of all the island has to offer. We decided to hire a Mustang at the airport, following the detailed directions and entry procedure with codes, arriving at the condo was very straight forward and easy. What a lovely Condo, spacious, very clean, quiet, beautifully decorated with a warm friendly feeling, it has everything we needed. We especially liked the balmy evenings on Lanai, enjoying a beer and glass of wine, one night we cooked ourselves a great T-Bone steak on the BBQ. The resort has good amenities only a stone throw away, A-Bay is only 5mins walk we swam every morning and afternoon and watched the golden Hawaiian sunset. The Lava Lava club, was a great place for dinner & drinks (we went twice) is just a short walk along the beach. Thank you Trisha and John, your beautiful Condo made the most wonderful Honeymoon we could have imagined. Pat & Linda"
