  • PERFECT HIDE A WAY

"Thank you, Kathy, for sharing your incredibly beautiful villa with us. You were a delight to work with. We felt right at home and loved the beautiful view of the golf course and ocean from the lanai. The Ocean Club facilities and golf discount privileges were a plus. We were hoping to return in March however see that the calendar is full. We will certainly keep your villa in mind for future visits and will recommend this villa to family and friends."

  • Beautiful!

"The condo was absolutely beautiful! It was in a perfect location to get to the pool, yet was quiet. The furniture was upscale, but comfortable and suited to both children and adults. Beach chairs, towels and all manner of beach gear is there for your use. This was our third stay at Fairway Villas. It is perfectly located for walking to the nearby Kings Shop and Queen's Marketplace, as well as the "A" beach area. We wouldn't think of staying anywhere else. We were disappointed that Hapuna Beach now charges $5.00 a day for parking. We instead started going to Kea Bay Beach, the entrance of which is across from the Veteran's Cemetery. The beach opens at 9:00 am and is gorgeous! The waves are a little rough for younger ones and there is no shade. Also, you have to walk over a bit of lava to reach the beach. For shade and young ones, we recommend Spencer Beach. It has more of a park atmosphere, with picnic tables and shady spots. There are so many beautiful things to see on the island. Definitely go to The Hawaiian Botanical Gardens, preferably as early in the morning as possible since it gets hot and humid quickly. While over that way, visit Waiapo Valley and Akaka Falls. There will be a charge at Akaka. Actually, the best advice is to buy the latest addition of Hawaii The Big Island Revealed Guidebook by Andrew Doughty, which tells you everything you would want to know about the island. Our only other disappointment was that there wasn't any spices, cooking oil, etc. left over from other guests. Other condos we have stayed in had things left over in the pantry so that we didn't have to buy as much at the store. That is just a minor issue, though. We would recommend this condo to anyone and would not hesitate to stay there again ourselves!"

Reviewer Comments: Every thing was great except for the TV in living room was not working..We called and were told the person to deal with it wasnt available the first day.The second day we had business all day..we werent around. They wanted to walk us through it..Not interested in dealing with TV cables that may have been connected wrongly on our vaca so it was never fixed ..we never heard from anyone to fix it prior to our leaving. We were there 4 nights.Should have been done .we offered maintenance to come in when we weren't there but they didn't want to.they wanted to talk us through it."

  • Best vacation ever

"Spent a week here and it was not nearly long enough. Condo was spotless, and completely equipped with everything I could possibly need or want. Located a stones throw from pool / hot tub / barbecues, the location is perfect. Fitness studios (a weight room and a cardio room) are very well equipped - and they were immaculate. Do your home work before you go so that you have an idea of all the wonderful opportunities for adventure in the area. Car required to get to sights and beaches. Driving on the island is easy and hassle free. Denise is very helpful and responded quickly to questions. I will definitely be back."
