"We have stayed in this unit many times and it never fails to impress. All the pictures you see at the web site are exactly what you will find in the unit. We always look forward to this little slice of heaven in Waikoloa. The décor is amazing and every detail has been well thought out. The owners are so helpful and kind. They go out of their way to make sure you will have a good time. The unit itself is on the second floor, which makes it very serene and quiet. The view from the veranda is amazing, Mauna Kea Straight ahead and the golf course front What a special place to have your breakfast in the morning. The kitchen is perfect with great appliances and a wonderful large area for preparing meals. It is truly a gourmet experience.
The location of The Fairwy Villas is perfect as well, right near the street the Kings and Queens Shops. Everything you could need from groceries and wine to restaurants is available and handy. The walk to the beach at A Bay is only 5 minutes. Try the Lava Lava Club for happy hour – the mai tais are amazing. We have a great time walking along the beach trails both to the north and south. Turtles are common sites along the beach to the south. The trail to the north ends up at the Hilton Waikoloa which is a great place to wander through and stop for a drink, to whale watch or see the sunset.
We like to relax and take it easy while we are in Hawaii. This 5 star unit makes that so easy. It has everything you could want in a condo and the location is perfect. Highly recommended."

"Our family of 5 stayed for 9 nights. We were running the Kona marathon and this place was perfect. We were able to just walk to the starting line and on the 4th of July we just walked across the street to see the fireworks. So convenient to Hapuna beach and don't miss seeing Pololu Valley. We drove over to Hilo and the Volcano National Park on Saddle rd. What a nice new highway. We also drove up to Waimea one night and ate at the Big Island Brewhaus. Very reasonable food and drinks for Hawaii. Great deal for a great place."

"My wife, friends, and I stayed here for 5 days for our friend's wedding in a ranch up in Waimea. The condo was actually a lot more spacious than the pictures made it seem, so that was a nice surprise for us. The kitchen was really nice and made cooking a few meals very easy. There was also AC, so it was very easy to cool off after a long day at the beach/hiking. The furniture was also quite nice, and pretty comfortable. We really liked the location of the condo because it is really close to some nice beaches (Hapuna & Mauna Kea beach) and not too far from the rainy side (for those lush green hikes). I used to live in Hilo for a period of time and have been to most every where in the island, and waikoloa village maybe my new favorite location to stay at! Shops around are a little pricy, but it's a resort area so it's to be expected. Although they are very convenient, and queens market and kings shops are within easy walking distance. The poke at island markets was actually pretty good too.
One thing that we really appreciated, was that the condo was fully stocked with beach towels, snorkeling gear (mask, snorkel, fins), beach chairs, and umbrellas. So we utilized those and had fun snorkeling out at Mauna Kea beach.
The owner was also very friendly. My wife and I had an earlier flight than our friends who checked out, and they had troubles with key and lockbox. However, the owner was helpful and available to talk on the phone.
We had a great experience and would love to stay here again the next time we visit da big island."
