The property manager was very helpful.
The vacation rental was spotless.
I was very happy with the location.
I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental.
Overall, I recommend this vacation rental.
Great condo for our family (4 adults and 2 kids)! The condo is as advertised and had everything we needed for our stay. It was clean and well maintained. The condo is very comfortable and a home away from home with a great Hawaiian theme throughout. The location was very nice and the pool area was a great place to relax and grab a bite to eat. It is a ground-floor end-unit so you get more windows and light and a lanai that is opened up. Great place to sit and drink your morning coffee while you look at the ocean and watch the golfers. The management (Kona Coast) was great to work with. They even had a fruit basket waiting for us upon arrival! The only little problem might be with the parking. There is only one reserved spot for the condo. There is some overflow parking, but not a ton. However, we had two cars and never had an issue finding someplace else to park. We had no complaints about this condo and would definitely book here again!"

"Helen and Ed's unit is beautifully appointed and is right on the water. It is quiet and peaceful. It is clean and we experienced no bugs at all, a first for our many condo rentals on the Big Island. Our hosts were wonderful to us. The pool, hot tub with sand floor, and outdoor restaurant overlooking the restaurant are spectacular. The food is good and reasonably priced at the restaurant. The sunsets were splendid. There is also an outdoor gym with a fantastic view located in the same area. We look forward to staying there again."

"We had stayed at the Hali'i Kai resort before but this was our first time in Mike and Wendy's condo. Their place is truly wonderful. Beautifully equipped, exquisitely decorated with wonderful furniture throughout and full of those little extras that makes a trip just perfect. The whole experience, from the booking online, to the pre-arrival information was handled easily and professionally through VRBO. Mike and Wendy contacted us prior to our arrival by email with relevant information and once at the condo by phone to ensure we had settled in nicely. In summary we have no problem offering an unreserved recommendation of this condo to anyone wanting to stay in Waikaloa"

"A wonderful location and convenient to so much in the Waikoloa resort area as well as just about anything you could dream of doing on this beautiful island. The clubhouse and pool are lovely and the staff is very friendly. They offer some reasonably priced food (for Hawaii) and so, late in the afternoon, a lot of families understandably came to the pool to eat. A little hectic and noisy at those times, but a nice facility overall. The condo itself is very pretty and the end unit offers some lovely views even if it is not ocean front. Air conditioning, water pressure, etc., were all fine and there were some nice appliances there. My husband and I enjoyed the lanai and the grill. Like other reviewers, we felt that the lanai furniture is in need of replacing. It consists of a small table, which was wobbling, and two chairs...sort of tough if there are more than two of you and even tough to put everything we needed on the table for just the both of us. Something a little more substantial would definitely add a great deal to the unit, as people come to Hawaii to spend the majority of their time enjoying the outdoors. Also, we noted that the beach chairs that were available seemed to be on their last legs and were starting to fray. We have stayed in this area before in other units and the condo certainly lived up to our expectations. One note for people who want to make more than a sandwich there....there are no spices whatsoever...I am not sure if this is a rule there, that they can't be left, but bring your own from home if you can...everything is so expensive to purchase. Overall, a beautiful island and a great time. As far as working with the owner, she was always responsive and everything was as she represented when we checked in. Another bonus which we learned about when we got there was a maid service....there is cleaning every few days and the condo is vacuumed, and sheets and towels are replaced....I washed them anyway as I was doing wash, but it was nice to have the place "spiffed up" every few days."
