"My family of 4 stayed in Halii Kai for one week. The unit was absolutely perfect, very clean and comfortable. The location within the community is fantastic, very close to the pool, huge grassy area and looks out to the ocean. They had everything we needed for the beach, cooler, towels, boogie boards, umbrella, sand toys and much more. Owner was super to work with, he called us on our first day to check in and make sure everything was OK. We would definitely stay in this unit again."

"The pictures do not do this place justice and they are incredible. The unit is more spacious than it looks. The overall development as you drive through to the condo is immaculate. Ken was very easy to work with and answered any questions I may have had prior to agreeing to stay here. The staff at the Ocean Club were very pleasant and also volunteered ideas for our visit to the big island. There were no issues from the minute we arrived except for deciding whether or not to just stay at the condo the whole time or do some sightseeing. I could have stayed. Everything a person would need is right there. If you leave the blinds open at night, there’s plenty of distance across the golf course for privacy and an alarm clock is not necessary because the sun will wake you up. The master bath is fantastic. The views are phenomenal. My wife and I look forward to returning to 12G and relaxing on the lanais. Even if the kids can’t make it.

"My family stayed in Helen's beautiful condo in Hali'i Kai in March 2015 and we couldn't have been happier with our stay. The location is perfect -- ocean front and less than a minute walk to the pool and restaurant.
There is fantastic whale watching from the lanai (the spot must be known for whale watching because we observed many whale watching boats directly in front of the condo). And the beautiful sunsets can't be beat.
The bar/restaurant served great food and drinks and the pool was kid friendly. There is an area in the pool where the depth is about as deep as a first step in a pool and our infant son greatly enjoyed splashing and playing while seated, like he does in the bath.
Hali'i Kai provides resort-like amenities without the over-crowdedness of a resort. And I don't think many resorts have rooms as close to the ocean as Helen's condo at a reasonable price considering the condo provides a fully-stocked kitchen. And with an infant who goes to sleep around dinner time, a condo is a must.
Finally, Helen was very responsive and helpful, and provided excellent restaurant recommendations. We ended up eating at Sansei in the Queen Shops, twice. Excellent food and service, with great early-bird pricing."

"Nice condo, nicely appointed. We enjoyed Mai tais at the clubhouse. Good walking access to oceanfront walking trails and the Dolphins at the Hilton. We were two couples travelling together, so it was appreciated that the second bedroom and bathroom were also a very decent size. Only negative - the deck furniture needs replacing. We eat all meals on the lanai, and the table is too small. The chairs were not good for relaxing around a great meal. For two people though, it's fine."
