"This condo is the perfect vacation getaway spot!
There's the location -- right on the golf course & ocean. Morning coffee on the deck with the ocean breezes was perfect. The clubhouse/cafe, pool, and gym, which are right next door, where thoroughly enjoyed by our family, and so convenient. And it's only 20 minutes from the airport, with shopping & restaurants nearby.
There's the condo itself -- plenty of room for our family of 4, with lots of extras like pool toys for the kids. Very comfortable and clean accommodations. The well-stocked kitchen made it so easy to prepare meals when we didn't feel like going out. Large decks on both levels.
There's the owner -- so easy to work with. Ken provided lots of great sightseeing tips that made for wonderful outings around the island. He totally knows the scoop on the best beaches.
Our family didn't want to leave, and there was much discussion of when we can return. Our family would rent this condo again in a minute, and would highly recommend."

"We stayed here for just over a week with two 18 year-olds, and it couldn't have been a better home base for exploring the Big Island. It was fairly close to the airport, so taking a day trip to Pearl Harbor was easy. All the golf courses in the area are immaculate, and we had trouble narrowing our list of which ones to play. Don't miss taking one of the Manta Ray snorkels, and we did a morning snorkel as well. Add parasailing and hiking around Volcanos National Park, ATV'ing in Waipi'o Valley, and you've pretty much covered our trip! We usually breakfasted outside on the lanai, overlooking the ocean. Our host provided coolers, towels and boogie boards to take on our explorations, and we would return to a complex each evening, walking down to the dolphins, swimming at the gorgeous pool, playing putt-putt, or simply watching the sunset.
Couldn't have been any better."

"Halii Kai is the best condo community at Waikoloa. The Ocean Club is right at waters edge with panoramic ocean views. We spent every afternoon there, soaking in hot tub and drinking Mai Tais during happy hour. Quiet and tranquil surroundings.
BBQ on patio is first rate. Condo fully stocked with all amenities"

"A wonderful location and convenient to so much in the Waikoloa resort area as well as just about anything you could dream of doing on this beautiful island. The clubhouse and pool are lovely and the staff is very friendly. They offer some reasonably priced food (for Hawaii) and so, late in the afternoon, a lot of families understandably came to the pool to eat. A little hectic and noisy at those times, but a nice facility overall. The condo itself is very pretty and the end unit offers some lovely views even if it is not ocean front. Air conditioning, water pressure, etc., were all fine and there were some nice appliances there. My husband and I enjoyed the lanai and the grill. Like other reviewers, we felt that the lanai furniture is in need of replacing. It consists of a small table, which was wobbling, and two chairs...sort of tough if there are more than two of you and even tough to put everything we needed on the table for just the both of us. Something a little more substantial would definitely add a great deal to the unit, as people come to Hawaii to spend the majority of their time enjoying the outdoors. Also, we noted that the beach chairs that were available seemed to be on their last legs and were starting to fray. We have stayed in this area before in other units and the condo certainly lived up to our expectations. One note for people who want to make more than a sandwich there....there are no spices whatsoever...I am not sure if this is a rule there, that they can't be left, but bring your own from home if you can...everything is so expensive to purchase. Overall, a beautiful island and a great time. As far as working with the owner, she was always responsive and everything was as she represented when we checked in. Another bonus which we learned about when we got there was a maid service....there is cleaning every few days and the condo is vacuumed, and sheets and towels are replaced....I washed them anyway as I was doing wash, but it was nice to have the place "spiffed up" every few days."
