  • Our great trip to the Big Island was enhanced by our stay at this property.

"The description and pictures were exactly as described in the listing. It was very clean and offered everything we needed for our stay in the area. The owner was great to work with and provided us with so many helpful hints and ideas for places to go and things to do. We made a point of going to or doing most of their recommended sites and activities. It was a great place to stay and we would certainly want to stay in this unit again when we return to the Big Island. One highlight was dinner at the Lava Lava Beach Club restaurant watching a beautiful sunset. We used this as our base for several day trips by car going to Hapuna Beach, North to Hawi and back through Waimea, South to Kailua Village and onto Honaunau and back. We made an independent stay for three days over on the Hilo side as well."

  • Wonderful stay in great condo!

"We spent a week in Bonnie & Steve's condo celebrating our anniversary and were extremely happy. The condo was well-furnished with everything you need to have all the comforts of home, was very clean and quiet, had a great view of the mountains and sunrise each morning, and a fabulous pool and hot tub area. The pool was very long and we were able to swim laps. Also, you can easily walk out to the main road and walk two loops around for a near 6-mile walk. The restaurants and shops were only about a mile walk, or an easy drive if not wearing comfortable shoes. We really didn't want to leave! The condo decor was lovely, and when we return to the Big Island, we will definitely stay here! Oh, for the previous reviews talking about problems with the front door key, one solution is to never turn the key to the right. Just turn it to the left each time, and you will have no problems at all. The door self locks on the way out. The Tropics Ale House is literally just steps from the condo complex and has fabulous pizza and reasonable prices."

  • A wonderful place to stay in Waikoloa

"My sister and me and our spouses spent a week here (my other two sisters and their spouses were nearby in another condo that was way more expensive but not any better). It was perfect and we would return in a heartbeat. We explored the whole island from here and it was an ideal place to return to each night. We snorkeled, we hiked, we swam, we went sight-seeing, enjoyed a zipline, went to the observatory visitor center, the volcano, the orchid center, the vanilla fields, the chocolate factory. And ate seafood almost every night. There was no downside to being here. And Joy was a great hostess; the place was just perfect for us - the wifi, the snorkeling and beach equipment, the kitchen for breakfast and dinners. Cannot adequately express how much we enjoyed this place."

  • Found our perfect Big Island getaway

"We spent a wonderful 2 weeks feeling at home in this great condo. Everything we needed was there, loved the beach chairs and towels, wouldn't leave home without them as we were always exploring a new beach and the best ones are so close to this condo. Great location for exploring any of the Island. Loved the nearby Lava Lava Beach Club, had happy hour and dinner at sunset there. Walked over to the Hilton Waikoloa, a must see, but we were glad we were staying at the condo, that huge resort is not our style. I have recommended this condo to friends already who would love it and we will be back!"
