"Aloha future renters!
Let me start by saying that I chose this condo over a few others I was looking at simply because of the many kindnesses of the owner, Denise. She immediately went out of her way to answer all of my questions, and worked with me on our arrival and departure days/times. The condo is exactly how it is described, even better. There was more than enough room for our family of 5. The mattresses on all of the beds are simply to die for, you will sleep very well. Even the pull out sofa bed wasn't too bad. Denise has everything you need for the beach in the closet, you really need nothing but your swimsuit. The condo complex itself is beautiful as well, and the condo couldn't be in a better location. We simply walked out the door into our car, or walked across the drive to the pool and grills. The pool is huge, and so beautiful. You will definitely need a car. The Waikoloa area itself is much more compact than you might think, but it still is a 3-5 minute drive to Abay beach. Hapuna and Mauna Kea beaches are about a 10 minute drive. The condo is centrally located as far as sightseeing the entire island. It only took us about 20 minutes to get there from the airport. Denise also has a ton of sightseeing books, we found so much more to do because of them. Free hula show in the Mauna Lani shops just down the road, the young people performing are just as good as the paid performers at any Luau, minus the food. Rope swing on the Hilo side of island at Kole Kole park. I could go on and on.
Honestly our vacation was simply better because we had such a beautiful, clean, very well stocked, amazing condo to call our home away from home for the 3 weeks we were on the big island. You definitely won't find a thing wrong with this condo, and with a person like Denise to rent from, well lets just say "no worries"

"We have been renting vacation homes from owners for over 10 years, sorting through many listings looking for that perfect rental. In March 2015, we chose a real winner. The Lepley’s were great to work with and villa and the Colony Villa property were a delight and exceeded our expectations. From the first day we arrived it felt like “home”. It’s spacious and although there was only two of us there is definitely lots of room for 6 adults. It’s nicely decorated and the furniture and beds are very comfortable. The unit was very clean, in good repair and all the appliances were in good working condition. They provided everything we needed for visits to the beach. The lanai faces east, a great spot for our early morning coffee. By mid-afternoon it is in cool shade. Perfect for afternoon drinks and supper. When we were looking for late afternoon sun- we simply moved our chairs out onto the lawn. The commercial grade gas BBQs located at the end of the driveway made cooking supper quick and easy and the BBQs were cleaned regularly by the maintenance staff. It’s the social gathering place in the early evening! The Colony Villa property is nicely landscaped and well maintained. We enjoyed lazy days around the pool. The water was warm and deck areas were clean and had several lounge chairs and tables. We took advantage of the golf discount package offered by the Lepley’s. We played both courses and found them to be in good shape. The friendly staff at the golf course always managed to find a tee time that worked for us.
The Waikoloa Beach resort area has a variety of restaurants, shops and a small supermarket and of course the best beach at “A” Bay. But, be sure to rent a car, pack your Big Island guide and GPS. With its quick access to major highways, the location of the Colony Villas is perfect for exploring this remarkable island. The upgrades and improvements to the Saddle Road allowed us to safely cross to Hilo in just over an hour, and reach the volcanoes in under two hours. Our day trip adventures included: secluded beaches; lush rainforests; quaint and charming old Hawaiian towns; finding local eateries and coffee shops; hikes over the lava to historic sites and national parks; fascinating volcanoes; and interesting botanical gardens. One of the highlights of our trip was a tour to Mauna Kea summit for sunset and star gazing with Adventure Tours. Not to be missed! It was a memorable way to end our GREAT vacation."

"We had a fabulous stay at Waikoloa Colonial Villas. Kevin's pre-holiday info and instructions worked out really well and the villa was well fitted out for our own cooking. The pool was a good 15 steps away, which made it ideal for the kids to have a good cool down at the end of some really hot days and we experienced no nuisance from late night swimmers. The resort is simply fabulous; you could stay there easily for your entire stay and enjoy the beaches around the corner and shop for whatever you need at the Queen's Markets or the King's shops and not use a car. However, we liked to see a lot of things as this was our first trip to Hawai'i and you definitely need a car to get around Big Island. If you want to see the Volcanoes National Parks, visit Kona or Hilo, then a car is a must. It's convenient and relaxed driving and the distances are worth it, it simply gives you a lot of flexibility. Kevin's villa is incredibly spacious, we had our own space to retreat to and the living room was very large so it felt like a nice open space. We did use the AC in the evenings for about 2 hours as it was really hot in the first week, the fans didn't quite cut it then. All in all a wonderful stay!"

"This is my first time to use URBO and also the first time to visit Big Island. Big Island is just the heaven for family vacation. There is so much to see and so much to do. We did hiking, zip lining, snorkeling and farm marketing shopping. Next time we will definitely come back to explore more.
The place we rented to stay is a two story spacy town house next to Hilton and Marriott. The property is very well maintained and it has EVERYTHING you need for your getaway, including beach chair, umbrella, boogie board, washer/dryer, and most importantly for a mom, cooking wares/utensils, and list can goes on. I would highly recommend this property to everyone who wants a great time in Hawaii."
