"Richard and Laura went above and beyond to make sure our 50th anniversary vacation and celebration was perfect ! The condo is sparkling clean, decorated very tastefully with thought to anything and everything we could have wanted or needed. The ocean and golf views were so beautiful it was difficult to leave the balcony or lanai. We spent 8 night, joined by our two daughters and their spouses. It was wonderfully memorable and none wanted it to end. Thank you Richard and Laura for your attention to detail, you kind help with all our questions and most of all, for renting this paradise!"Guest: Happy customer Date of Stay: June 2014 Review Submitted: June 30, 2014View listing
"This was our 3rd trip to the Big Island and have stayed in two different units that belong to Dennis & Cheryl. The renovations & updating at the Vista Waikoloa unit are a must see. (Pictures on line are not updated yet.) The living area of this unit is very spacious and the new kitchen appliances, counter tops in both bathrooms & kitchen and paint throughout really give the condo an elegant look. The spacious wraparound lanai is the perfect spot for your morning coffee or a relaxing dinner. Location of condo is perfect along with the beautifully well kept grounds and pool/hot tub area. Be sure and ask Dennis and Cheryl if there's anything you need or questions about the area, they are so accommodating! We will be returning!"Guest: Cindy S. "This condo is a wonderful place to stay. I was born and raised on the Big Island and found that this condo more than met our needs. The beach chairs are so handy and we used them each day as we went to our favorite beaches. The location is ideal for people who want to tour the island. We found the condo well equipped with paper goods, spices and even some food. A quick trip to Costco and we were set. It looks like it might be a noisy place but it was quiet and felt very private. I especially enjoyed my morning walk around the area."Guest: Maile Kane Date of Stay: November 2014 Review Submitted: December 7, 2014View listing
"I live on the Big Island and have stayed at many condos in the Waikoloa area. This is not a super, luxury type place but I would recommend this owner and her unit to anyone looking for a good value especially for a family ..... the unit is so big & comfortable. PROS: The unit is spacious, clean, kitchen is well equipped (we only went out to a restaurant twice in 6 days), master king size bed and 2nd bedroom queen size were both comfortable (but the headboards are loose and a little annoying). We didn't use the sofa bed, so can't judge it. Living/dining room well furnished, lanai is very big w/ table for 6, stack washer/dryer in unit. We really liked that there is a retractable screen door on the front entry. We opened the lanai door and the entry door and a nice breeze meant we could turn off the A/C on most days. ( But, please do get the screen repaired, the bottom is separated from the frame right in the middle) Also very nice is that this unit is well placed for quiet & privacy and has a nice golf course-lava rock view when sitting on the lanai. Not once did anyone stroll through our "back yard" like happens so often in other complexes in Waikoloa and because it is ground floor the lawn makes is feel even bigger. We took the lanai chairs out onto the grass for star gazing. We were also glad to see this is a NO Pets unit. We had some problems with the VRBO people with dates mix up but the owner solved everything quickly and quickly responded to our request for more towels. My ONLY negative comment is that the check out procedure says the owner requests that quests strip the beds, empty the trash and make sure the recyclables are in the proper bins, wash the towels and put them in the dryer and load and turn on the dishwasher. I'm not sure if this is truly the owner's requests or something VRBO does. We did as requested but I think that needs to be disclosed before you put your reservation money down. We had a good, relaxing "staycation" and recommend this unit. Aloha!"Guest: me Date of Stay: November 2014 Review Submitted: November 15, 2014View listing
