Excellent accommodations for our memorable week on The Big Island
"Our first couple of days were rather busy since we came to the Big Island to get married. It was so nice to open the door to a clean, lovely decorated home for the week. Everything was "as advertised" on the web site including the comfortable furnishing, amenities and awesome view. In the big picture, the location is great for exploring the beautiful island and within the well-maintained complex, the location offered stunning, unobstructed sunset views. The personal touch that the owner offered immediately upon our first inquiry was welcomed, and his assistance about things to do and places to explore were helpful. He also has stocked the condo with items that made our stay delightful. From the snorkel equipment to the coolers to the gas grill on the lanai, we felt we were well taken care of. The kitchen has all the equipment you could possible need and he has a LOT of towels...including beach towels. The photos were accurate! The on-site pool and restaurant/bar were very nice and quiet. I would highly recommend you give this place a chance so as to make your own Big Island memories!

Great location, beautiful home, terrific owners...
"This was our second trip to Hawaii and first to the Big Island. Nick and Anna have perfected their process and we were taken care of in every detail. From reservation to checkout everything was excellent. There was more than enough kitchenware, towels, blankets, pillows, soap, coolers, chairs etc. We did end up buying and leaving another umbrella so help yourself! We spent most mornings walking to the Hilton to get our latte' at their coffee shop (open to the public) and then sat and enjoyed watching the dolphins swim, as well as sharks and sea turtles in their bay. (also open to the public you just cannot swim unless you are a guest) We had every comfort of home in this unit and then some, as well as, being positioned nicely on the island to drive to Kona or Hilo. We actually drove the entire island during our two week stay and enjoyed fireworks right off the balcony on the 4th! (best seats around) There were trails in every direction from the the unit taking us to the beach, petroglyphs or shopping and tons of places to eat if you wanted. We did prefer to eat in Kona where the prices were not as high as the resort area and highly suggest the Kona Brewing Company in Kona, which was our favorite place to eat. The Costco is also a short drive and the well stocked kitchen made it a breeze to prepare meals. We loved this unit and will certainly visit again on our next trip to the Big Island. Thanks Nick and Anna!!"

Our third trip to the BI and this condo is THE best so far!
"We stayed for two weeks in late July and although it was El Nino and the hottest trip to Hawaii that we have experienced, we really enjoyed this condo. It was WONDERFUL! Everything you need to have a relaxing time. Working with Wendee was great, seamless, and because it was hot, we had to use the AC and the elevator a bit more than usual and glad we had both. These owners have thought of everything, and the "penthouse" was extremely quiet and had those gorgeous views for sunrises and sunsets. The kitchen was stocked with the essentials to get started, and we so appreciated this. Also, the beautiful decor, the well-stocked kitchen and the awesome master bath is truly what you see in the photos.
Even though it was hot and humid we spent a lot of time on the lanai. Sliding those doors back in the morning when it was cool made the coffee taste better (even being Kona Coffee!) and the table and chairs were wonderful. In the later evening after being at A Bay or Mauna Kea beach, using the chaise lounges to relax with a glass of wine and then cook steaks on your own grill was a treat. (Our last place literally had a line at the grill :-( so having the summer kitchen was really worth it!). For the first time ever, we DID spend quite a few nights in the condo.
And everything you would want for the beach is there, including a cooler. We have bought many chairs and coolers on our six trips to Hawaii. This was the first year we didn't have to!!!! I also want to say that this is convenient to the beach, pool, and you can walk to the Shops if you want. We also went to the Tropics Ale House (great mai tais!) and Lava Lava Club, Quinn's, Don the Beachcomber and Orchid Thai in Kona. We also tried Monstera for the first time, and it was awesome (a must if you like sushi).
Thank you to the owners for sharing this beautiful condo!
So, I would like to recommend this place to others, but I really want to keep it a secret so we can get our dates for next year!"

The property manager was very helpful.
The vacation rental was spotless.
I was more than happy with the location.
I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental.
Overall, I recommend this vacation rental.
We can't say enough good things about this condo/villa. If you are looking to stay on the Kohala/Waikoloa part of the Big Island, this is the place to stay. The owners have set up this unit so that you can show up and enjoy yourself from the first minute. Plenty of beach gear (towels, mats, snorkels, boogie boards, umbrella); a well stocked kitchen (pots, pans, knives, spices, coffee maker and grinder, and blender). If you choose to cook, just buy food. Our party of two adults and two teens had plenty of space to stay out of each others' way which is key to enjoying our down time. The only downside is proximity to Kona snorkeling spots, but there are plenty of natural attributes to enjoy near Waikoloa if you plan your trip right. The management company checked in just after arrival to ensure we were happy with everything. We were able to take advantage of a late-booking discount, but we would seek out this unit well in advance if we return to the big island."
