  • Everything You Want In One Place

"Stayed for one week in July 2014. Family of 8, 3 couples and 2 teens, with 3 cars. The listing and photos are very accurate. This is an amazing condo with plenty of space, and never felt crowded. We would definitely stay here again. The owners and management company are incredibly responsive. On arrival, we discovered that the wifi router was failing, and it was replaced the next day. During our stay, the kitchen sink plugged up and was cleared the same day. Single-car garage, but plenty of parking within a few steps. There are tons of supplies in the garage, including 6+ beach chairs, body boards, snorkel gear, aqua socks, beach mats, a beach umbrella, etc. Check the supplies before you buy anything. The pool is a few steps away. It's a two block walk to the Queens Shops, which includes a food court and grocery store. It's a 15-minute walk to A' Beach. If you're not planning any site seeing, you could easily stay here without a car. Our only complaints, and they're minor, were that we were charged $15 for a third set of keys (only two are provided) and there were insufficient paper supplies (paper towels, toilet paper). Charge an extra $5 per stay and don't trouble me with having to buy my own."

  • Great golf and Big Island experience

"Quality condo with all the amenities and private lanai. Affordable golf because unit maintains a membership in the Kings and Beach Courses. Owner and manager are a pleasure to deal with. We'll be back."

  • Great Place to Stay! Quiet - Clean - Relaxing

"This place is great! It's a comfortable home away from home. We had a group of 4 adults and 2 young children and it worked perfectly for us. The unit has 3 full bathrooms. Each of the upstairs rooms has it's own private full bath. The kitchen was well appointed with the basics one would need to cook meals. There is a large assortment of beach items (boards, towels, sand castle making toys). There are even small coolers in the kitchen you can use to take food to the beach. There are a lot of rules for the HOA, but I saw that kind of as a positive. Especially for a group of people with young kids (3yr and 7 mo). The last thing you want when you come to Hawaii to relax is the guys next to you partying out the night. The condo was very quiet - we never heard the next door unit. There are rules for smoking, but I don't smoke and don't want to smell it, so I loved the smoking ban on the premises. And the BBQ's are all in a community BBQ area near the pool (so the smoke doesn't fill the units above / fire hazard). As a prior review states, they are not the best functioning. But there are a few that worked okay and you make friends with the people waiting to cook. The Fairway Villas are very close to a couple shopping areas. You can walk over and get a meal, groceries, or even a Starbucks coffee if you so desire. If you want, you can even walk to the Marriott for their Sunset Luau, take full advantage of the open bar, then walk (or stagger) home. [this is not a review of the luau - we didn't go because it rained the day we had it scheduled, but we fully planned on walking because it was so close]. And lastly, your contact for this unit, Carole, was very professional and helpful in scheduling and setup, answering all our questions and getting us some baby items. When we arrived the highchair and pack-and-play were already setup, a box of choc covered macadamia nuts, salted mac nuts, and a bag of kona coffee on the counter, along with a welcome note. We never had to contact her during our stay as we had no problems with the unit, but I'm sure she would have been just as helpful during our stay as she was before. Overall we were very happy with our stay and will keep this place in mind for future visits to Hawaii."

"Dealing with Amy was great she was on it and never had an issue. When we arrived and opened the door we were very surprised that it looked even better than the pics we viewed online.Great gated place, plenty of room, nice little grass area out back and close to everything. If you wanna go eat at one of the places at the Hilton and take your receipt to the front desk you can park for free.Cant say enough about the condo,I would recommend it and I will also be staying there from now on.Very clean, extras already there like towels, spices, blankets, snorkle gear etc...Thanks again Amy,will be in contact with you again for our next trip...."
