"Look no further! This villa condo was simply perfect! It is exactly as the description states and the pictures reflect. It was immaculate, well furnished, with tons of towels, exquisite Ola bath products, (leave your shampoo, conditioner, shower gel, lotion and lip-balm at home!) kitchen appliances, dishware, lovely bedding and beautiful woodwork and artwork throughout. We loved having breakfast on the lanai, just outside the folding pocket doors. Grilling in the evening as the sun set in the west was picture perfect! It simply took our breath away, the minute we stepped in the door. It continued to take our breath away every day as we felt so blessed to stay in such an amazing villa. Kolea at Waikaloa is a perfect location on the Kohala Coast; easy to get to from the airport and easy to go to anywhere on the island. As there were only two of us and we didn't want CostCo sized items, we enjoyed grocery shopping at the local grocery store in the village of Waikaloa, not far from the property.
The grounds of villa are so very well taken care of. Plumeria was everywhere! The beach club access was such an added bonus to walk through right to the peaceful cove for our daily morning swim followed by a dip in the infinity pool. The villa was also thoughtfully stocked with beach mats, coolers, and boogie boards.
We would highly recommend this amazing property.
Our heartfelt thanks for this perfect stay! It was a dream vacation come true!
With blessings and Aloha!"

"A wonderful location and convenient to so much in the Waikoloa resort area as well as just about anything you could dream of doing on this beautiful island. The clubhouse and pool are lovely and the staff is very friendly. They offer some reasonably priced food (for Hawaii) and so, late in the afternoon, a lot of families understandably came to the pool to eat. A little hectic and noisy at those times, but a nice facility overall. The condo itself is very pretty and the end unit offers some lovely views even if it is not ocean front. Air conditioning, water pressure, etc., were all fine and there were some nice appliances there. My husband and I enjoyed the lanai and the grill. Like other reviewers, we felt that the lanai furniture is in need of replacing. It consists of a small table, which was wobbling, and two chairs...sort of tough if there are more than two of you and even tough to put everything we needed on the table for just the both of us. Something a little more substantial would definitely add a great deal to the unit, as people come to Hawaii to spend the majority of their time enjoying the outdoors. Also, we noted that the beach chairs that were available seemed to be on their last legs and were starting to fray. We have stayed in this area before in other units and the condo certainly lived up to our expectations. One note for people who want to make more than a sandwich there....there are no spices whatsoever...I am not sure if this is a rule there, that they can't be left, but bring your own from home if you can...everything is so expensive to purchase. Overall, a beautiful island and a great time. As far as working with the owner, she was always responsive and everything was as she represented when we checked in. Another bonus which we learned about when we got there was a maid service....there is cleaning every few days and the condo is vacuumed, and sheets and towels are replaced....I washed them anyway as I was doing wash, but it was nice to have the place "spiffed up" every few days."

Great location...everything you need to enjoy the island!
"Just spent almost two weeks in I4 and thouroughly enjoyed our stay. It's a perfect location to watch colorful sunsets with picturesque palm trees in the foreground. Great floor plan and love the bottom floor so able to walk out to the grass. The owner was very easy to work with and very quick to respond. Everything we needed to enjoy the beach was available...chairs, umbrella, grass mats, even boogie boards and kids toys for the younger crowd. We especially enjoyed the iPod docking station to listen to our favorite music while watching the sunsets. We would definitely recommend this place and make sure to browse the "Hawaii Revealed" book on the entry table for some great local beaches."

"This spot was perfect for my friend and I! It is a quiet corner unit with elevated ceilings, all the amenities, full kitchen, and an awesome view. A beautiful walk to beaches, restaurants and shops....
I come to Hawaii to golf. Some of the best courses on the planet can be played every day of the year, and there are many close to this Waikaloa gem!
I am definitely booking this unit for my next trip!"
