  • Another excellent vacation!!

"My husband and I just returned back home from our second stay in this wonderful condo. Five nights this time and we are figuring out when we can return next. And how long until we are both retired and can stay for a much longer stay. Met someone from Canada who comes every year to another similar unit for three months. Just a very easy place to stay. Unit itself... This condo is very relaxing, quite, clean, spacious. High ceilings add to that spacious feel. Having your own kitchen gives you flexibility and saves money. Washing machine and dryer in unit too. Love sitting all over inside and enjoying the breeze on the patio over morning coffee and newspaper. The bath is terrific for a long soak. Lots of closet space, double sinks in bathroom wonderful. Complex itself You park right outside unit building....super easy BBQs are steps away in addition to open air exercise facility, swimming pool and jacuzzi. Love that jacuzzi for sore muscles. Walk to either shopping center in five minutes along nice path. Location is excellent for whatever you want to do. Two golf courses minutes away with a golf discount. Many others close by. A few minute walk to Marriott where I enjoyed the beach after a longer walk to Hilton and lava rocks and a lovely hammock. Suggested activities we did this time ATV Ride the Rim Night swim with Manta Rays Vanilla Farm Paolo valley overlook hike Kona Brewing Company tour and taste Dinner at Blue Dragon...love! Delicious food, fun atmosphere and live music. Bill is a doll to work with. Any questions are answered promptly...don't know how he does that but glad he does. Mahalo!"

  • Lots of fun things in the area

"Nice condo, nicely appointed. We enjoyed Mai tais at the clubhouse. Good walking access to oceanfront walking trails and the Dolphins at the Hilton. We were two couples travelling together, so it was appreciated that the second bedroom and bathroom were also a very decent size. Only negative - the deck furniture needs replacing. We eat all meals on the lanai, and the table is too small. The chairs were not good for relaxing around a great meal. For two people though, it's fine."

  • Gorgeous Condo, Beautiful Location

"My family and I spent a week on the Big Island in August of this year and we truly had an amazing time. We loved this condo at Waikoloa Beach Villas. It was beautiful, clean and spacious. The condo is impeccably decorated and had everything we needed. From beach towels to beach mats, snorkel gear and coolers, it made our trip so much more enjoyable. The washer and dryer were very useful and the A/C kept the unit very comfortable. The kitchen is gorgeous with up to date appliances and all the supplies you would ever need. The location is perfect on the Kohala Coast close to many beautiful beaches and many other resorts. The grounds were immaculate with 2 tropical pools with waterfalls that our teenage children absolutely loved. Queen's marketplace is right across the street with many shops and restaurants. We especially enjoyed spending time on the lanai enjoying the warm breezes and the incredible view. The management company was very helpful, especially Anne Marie, she made our booking experience seamless from beginning to end. Thank you Allan for sharing your beautiful home with us. We would definitely stay here again. Aloha."

  • Beautiful!

"The condo was absolutely beautiful! It was in a perfect location to get to the pool, yet was quiet. The furniture was upscale, but comfortable and suited to both children and adults. Beach chairs, towels and all manner of beach gear is there for your use. This was our third stay at Fairway Villas. It is perfectly located for walking to the nearby Kings Shop and Queen's Marketplace, as well as the "A" beach area. We wouldn't think of staying anywhere else. We were disappointed that Hapuna Beach now charges $5.00 a day for parking. We instead started going to Kea Bay Beach, the entrance of which is across from the Veteran's Cemetery. The beach opens at 9:00 am and is gorgeous! The waves are a little rough for younger ones and there is no shade. Also, you have to walk over a bit of lava to reach the beach. For shade and young ones, we recommend Spencer Beach. It has more of a park atmosphere, with picnic tables and shady spots. There are so many beautiful things to see on the island. Definitely go to The Hawaiian Botanical Gardens, preferably as early in the morning as possible since it gets hot and humid quickly. While over that way, visit Waiapo Valley and Akaka Falls. There will be a charge at Akaka. Actually, the best advice is to buy the latest addition of Hawaii The Big Island Revealed Guidebook by Andrew Doughty, which tells you everything you would want to know about the island. Our only other disappointment was that there wasn't any spices, cooking oil, etc. left over from other guests. Other condos we have stayed in had things left over in the pantry so that we didn't have to buy as much at the store. That is just a minor issue, though. We would recommend this condo to anyone and would not hesitate to stay there again ourselves!"
