"We really enjoyed this condo, and the owners were very good to work with. The location is great, being close to the best beaches, shopping, entertainment, and easy to go to other parts of the island. The condo itself is comfortable, spacious, very tastefully funished and decorated, and well equipped. The Shores is beautifully landscaped, gated, not congested. Parking is easy, and the elevator was appreciated. The breezes on the huge lanai were wonderful and we enjoyed mornings and evenings there with beautiful sunset skies over the ocean every night. We hope to return!"Guest: Diane Date of Stay: July 2014 Review Submitted: August 17, 2014View listing
"Owner was great to work with. Condo clean and well appointed including some beach necessary items. Management company was difficult to contact and was slow to answer questions or follow up on promised discounts. Parking instructions were not accurate and led to a dispute with another condo resident. When the management company failed to return my calls , I went to the site manager and found out I was given wrong information. I apologized to the other people and gave them a bottle of wine to calm the nerves. Pictures well represented the property. We try to search out local restaurants but do visit the King & Queen shopping areas. Newest property on the "A" Beach is Lava Lava. Great ribs at reasonable price!!! In Kona, Splashers is an old 2nd restaurant that is newly run in the past year. Great food, good prices. The lobster omelet uses real lobster chunks. It's one of two restaurants across from King K Hotel. Great whale watching from most state parks on western coast from Dec thru Feb. Central location gives ready BUT relaxed access to the entire island. Don't over plan the main roads are good but max speed limit 55 and on one part of the ocean road south of Kona is 15 to 25 in some stretches."Guest: Bob B. "We have been going to the Waikoloa Beach area for over 10 years, we stay for 3 weeks. This Condo is one of the most spacious we've been in. The master bedroom is large, with sliding doors to the wrap around lanai, (great for night star gazing). The bed was very comfortable and the bathroom, with a soaking tub, shower and two sinks was wonderful. The 2nd bedroom had twin beds and it's own attached bathroom (no running across the hall). This was great for additional guests. The kitchen was well equipped, we cooked and ate our breakfast ,(with the sun coming up) and dinner on the large lanai. Although, if you choose to go out, many restaurants are within walking distance. The view is wonderful. You can watch golfers putting out on one hole and teeing off on another. Each morning you can watch the sun come up over Mauna Kea. The Hilton is across the road, fun place to walk around. The Beach is also in walking distance. This is a great condo, I would rent it again."Guest: Diane Date of Stay: February 2012 Review Submitted: March 2, 2012View listing
"What sets this condo apart from all others is the owner's attitude! Zhanna is very responsive and professional and the whole trip went off without a hitch! The location at the edge of this large resort made access to the highway quick and easy. No noisy neighbours or young kids, nice soaking pool, parking garage for the Jeep (an real perk) and good access to the shops. Go to the large grocery store in the village of Waikoloa and skip the Island Market. Try the Lava Lava Beach Club for Mai Tai's!"Guest: Nancy H.
