  • Perfect!

"This unit was lovely, clean and well maintained. It had everything we needed! We truly appreciated access to all the beach/pool gear and utilized the beach chairs daily. We enjoyed grilling and eating several meals on the lanai which overlooks the golf course. The unit is located just a few steps across the street from the pool, and is only a short walk to Queen's Shops. Neighbors are great. The owner was very friendly and quickly responded to a last minute request to stay in this unit. The property managers in Waikoloa Village were also easy to work with and responded promptly to a question we had once we arrived. We would highly recommend and stay here again!"

  • Great rental, location, and good owner to work with

"We had a fantastic stay at this unit. It was just two of us so we were happy to find a place that was less expensive but not far from the water. The unit had everything we needed. In the closet were lots of things we found useful at the beach. Chairs, boogie boards. snorkel/fins, cooler, etc. We were even surprised to have a nice gift basket of food goodies which we enjoyed. It is very convenient to getting to Hapuna Beach and Beach 69 (10 minute drives) which are some of my favorites on the island. The complex was very quiet. There is a road in front of the unit but the traffic was pretty minimal. We appreciated the peek-a-boo views of the water from the lanai. We also enjoyed walking/jogging out of the unit along the public access trail that goes to A-Bay nearby. There is a grocery store in the resort village a few minutes drive away that has the usual groceries and some nice del options for breakfast/lunch/dinner if you want alternatives to going out to the restaurants. Groceries are less expensive though closer to the airport at the Safeway and Costco so if stocking up may want to go there. Robert the owner was easy to work with and trustworthy and got my deposit back promptly."

  • Amazing property and location

"I have been to the Hali'I Kai property several times to look at the models, but this was my first stay in one of the units. The location of this unit is one of the best on the property, and one of only three buildings with an ocean front location. We spent most of the time on the lanai just enjoying the view of the water, an occasional sail boat, and even one whale sighting, even though whale watching season was over. The kitchen has everything you can ask for - Subzero fridge, Wolf oven, Viking hood - all the amenities you need to prepare meals and enjoy them on the lanai. And best of all, during the entire eight day stay, we only saw two people walking past the lanai, as this is a very private location on the property. With the Ocean Club pool just three buildings away, this unit has everything you could ask for to enjoy the perfect get away on the Big Island. I would highly recommend staying here. You won't be disappointed."

  • Great condo and great location to access the Kohala Coast.

"I used to live on the Big Island long ago and was finally taking my "boys" to introduce them to the islands special beauty. Wanting to show them everything, we stayed in Kona, the Volcano and I also wanted a place to access more of the Kohala section, its beautiful white sand beaches, the observatories at 13,000 foot Mauna Kea, the Hamakua Coast, the horse country of Waimea and the isolated valleys of the Northwest corner & Haiwi town. This location was perfect. Morning and sunset views of 13,000 foot plus Mauna Kea, Mauna Loa and 8,000 foot plus Hualalai were beautiful. The condo is huge! Nicely decorated and stocked, very clean. The a/c is wonderful to have in August and having laundry available is always a plus. The owner, Leroy is easy to contact and very helpful accommodating to any issues that may arise. Already looking forward to coming back in the future and would definitely stay here again."
