  • Resort living at its best

"This home was immaculate with all the amenities you need. Both pools on the property are great. The kitchen was spacious with a huge dining table. We found there was better value in eating dinner at home and lunches out at the various walking distance restaurants. Best restos were Lava Lava Beach Club, Tropics Ale House and the Queen's food court. We did the Marriott Luau and it was fantastic. The Hilton lagoon is open to all and we used it a ton, such a great place to snorkel and play with kids. Getting back to the house, linens were high end, lots of beach towels and toys, good internet and cable TV. The tennis court is top notch and the entire complex is well managed and landscaped. We would stay again for sure. There are other options in Waikoloa but this is by far the best value. Other places are closer to the beach but either way more expensive or smaller and more congested. Colony Villas is tranquil but still only a 20 min walk or 5 min drive to Starbucks, restaurants, shopping, the beach etc. Again, fantastic place!"

  • Clean, Pool View

"First time guest in the Beach Villas. Pros: Clean with A/C Well stocked kitchen equipment Great for entertaining guests Lots of plastic cups (for the kids) Comfortable beds Hilton Pool Pass 2 pools on property Lots of towels Walk to Queens and Kings Shops Quick response from property management (access code key to unit, ants- combat worked great, gate code not work once, pool pass clarification cannot charge to room- equipment rentals at Hilton, mgmt office to print out boarding pass). Cons: Kitchen: Worn out- 2 saute teflon pans, Chipped plates, bowls, coffee cups. Beach equipment- broken boogie boards, bent noodles, various items not placed nicely in storage closet all thrown in a pile, wish there were some beach chairs. Master Bath: Broken tile in shower from prior guest, not fixed - note placed on shower tiles asking us to dry area off after showering. Missing pebble in shower floor grout, uneven dip in shower floor. Living Room: Worn out ripped up seat- Faux leather chair. Wish there was tv in loft upstairs for the game unit in living room, better use of space for kids and adults. No logo pen and writing pad from Resortica Hawaii, No welcome basket (could have been a bunch of bananas or fruit) and guest book (Surprised, first time ever not seeing these in unit). Wonder if the empty logo bag hanging on the laundry door was it. Foul odor next to both pools (possibly from plants that water can sit). Overall: Would I stay here again? YES. Enjoying the island and family is far more important. We vacation in Hawaii every year. Rented many units and single family homes in Hawaii 17+ years and Prior Hawaii resident."

  • Staying here was an absolute pleasure

"We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this condo. Without question, it's the nicest and best equipped of any of the units we have ever stayed at in Vista Waikoloa. We really felt at home in every way. Thank you for sharing your home away with home with us. It was lovely."

  • Our Home Away from Home!

"Our family spent 10 wonderful days at this condo. We enjoyed every single second. Peggy didn't miss a thing. All amenities were quality- from the kitchen supplies to the beach supplies. We even had a man approach us on the beach and ask us where we bought our TWO beach unmbrellas. They were so big and sturdy! My husband was also very impressed: "This woman doesn't miss anything! There is a backup propane tank for the grill!" We discovered that the iron was missing and by the end of our day, a brand new iron showed up at the door. Our family of four had room to spread out. We never felt on top of each other. The sunsets every evening from our lanai were spectacular! The condo is also just steps away from the pool which was a relaxing retreat. And with more beautiful sunsets each night. Every evening the condo guests would gather at the pool to watch the sunset as "Larry" walked around blowing the conch shell and lighting the tiki torches. If I had to have a complaint, I would say the staff at the pool could have been much friendlier. Let me just suggest that a smile can go a long way when you are ordering $10 drinks. They almost seemed annoyed to be serving you at times. Another guest mentioned how rude the staff were to her twins when they made the mistake of bringing a ball into the pool. However, this isn't Peggy's fault. It's a Halii Kai issue. All in all, we would return to this condo in a heartbeat. I am referring my friends to Peggy and her other properties as well. Thanks you for sharing it with us!"
