"My husband, our adult daughter and I just returned from two weeks at this wonderful condominium. It's hard to be home after enjoying this condo's exceptional amenities, and perfect location with fantastic weather (no matter what the weather was like anywhere else on the Big Island, Waikoloa was always sunny - although it could get windy!). The unit is very bright and airy, with vaulted ceilings, overhead fans in the bedrooms and living area and a gorgeous view, looking out over the golf green to the lava field and Mauna Kea in the distance. The owner has thought of every requirement, from beach gear to quality bedding to kitchen utensils. The decor of the unit is lovely - light natural wood, with attractive tropical-themed details. There is very comfortable seating in the living and dining room, and additional bar seating at the kitchen counter and a glass table and chairs on the lanai. The two bedrooms are large and offered plenty of closet space (the master has a walk-in closet off the ensuite - sweet!). The well-equipped kitchen and access to excellent bbq facilities made home-cooking a breeze - along with fantastic local meats and fish we enjoyed well-priced fresh Ahi from the nearby Costco along with fruits, vegetables and treats bought at one of the many farmers' markets. The location is truly a highlight - we could walk to markets and shopping, a gorgeous beach (Anaehoomalu Bay - A-Bay!) and a variety of restaurants and take-out places. We have stayed in many different VRBO rentals, and this one will be remembered by all of us as one of the nicest!"Guest: Betty9 Date of Stay: June 2014 Review Submitted: July 4, 2014View listing
"The pictures do not do this place justice and they are incredible. The unit is more spacious than it looks. The overall development as you drive through to the condo is immaculate. Ken was very easy to work with and answered any questions I may have had prior to agreeing to stay here. The staff at the Ocean Club were very pleasant and also volunteered ideas for our visit to the big island. There were no issues from the minute we arrived except for deciding whether or not to just stay at the condo the whole time or do some sightseeing. I could have stayed. Everything a person would need is right there. If you leave the blinds open at night, there’s plenty of distance across the golf course for privacy and an alarm clock is not necessary because the sun will wake you up. The master bath is fantastic. The views are phenomenal. My wife and I look forward to returning to 12G and relaxing on the lanais. Even if the kids can’t make it. Thanks Ken."Guest: Marty Date of Stay: June 2014 Review Submitted: June 17, 2014View listing
"We spent a week in Bonnie & Steve's condo celebrating our anniversary and were extremely happy. The condo was well-furnished with everything you need to have all the comforts of home, was very clean and quiet, had a great view of the mountains and sunrise each morning, and a fabulous pool and hot tub area. The pool was very long and we were able to swim laps. Also, you can easily walk out to the main road and walk two loops around for a near 6-mile walk. The restaurants and shops were only about a mile walk, or an easy drive if not wearing comfortable shoes. We really didn't want to leave! The condo decor was lovely, and when we return to the Big Island, we will definitely stay here! Oh, for the previous reviews talking about problems with the front door key, one solution is to never turn the key to the right. Just turn it to the left each time, and you will have no problems at all. The door self locks on the way out. The Tropics Ale House is literally just steps from the condo complex and has fabulous pizza and reasonable prices."Guest: Kelly S. "We've stayed at these condos in the past and really enjoy the area. The unit was great, beds comfy, kitchen stocked with the essentials, I assume the TVs were great as well, but they weren't turned on after the first day. We used the wireless a lot for computers and ipad, no problems. The beach supplies were good, nice chairs. It would have been nice if there were tennis rackets, nothing fancy needed."Guest: PatAndCarol Date of Stay: January 2014 Review Submitted: February 9, 2014View listing
