  • Best Value on the Island

"WOW what a place!!!! And such a great value. My "neat-freak-relatives" were green with envy when they saw this place. Where are you going to sleep 6 adults, in very comfortable beds, in a large house, for the price of one, 450 square foot, mid range hotel room? Nowhere else on this Island. This is not a condo, this is a house, and a house with a great view and some privacy. It is decorated and furnished more like a house than the typical VRBO. The view is fantastic, and the house is so well equipped. The Appliances are top of the line. We watched sunsets on the deck every night. We stayed for 4 nights to extend our time on the Island at the end of a family vacation. Joe, the owner was a joy to work with. The onsite help greeted us and she was very helpful. This is only 15 minute drive from the best beaches on the Island and we saved a fortune by providing our own breakfast, lunch and some dinners. Car rental was very cheap for our full sized car (http://www.discounthawaiicarrental.com/). This is also much closer to the Volcano side of the Island where much of the tourist stuff is located. The entrance to the new saddle road, that goes over the center of the Island to Hilo, is less than 10 minutes from here. And it is now a smooth highway. We also got some great trade winds. This makes it much cooler at night than staying down in Kona, where there are no good beaches. I highly recommend this gem...you will not be disappointed. the pictures do not do it justice. Next time we are coming back with friends."

  • The best condo in the Village!

"I doubt that there is a better condo in Waikoloa Village than this one. The online pictures don't due it justice, the views of the ocean and sunsets are fantastic and it is on the 9th fairway of the Village Golf course. We found the condo to be very clean and ideal for two couples or a family. The owner has stocked the condo with everything you might need to enjoy the beaches, or maybe use the his and hers golf clubs(although true golfers should bring their own). The Waikoloa Village location is not "on the beach" but the best beaches on the island are just a short drive away. One of the condo pools and two propane grills are less than 40 yards from the lanai(patio) for most of us. We found the local food market, less than a 5 min. drive, to be as competitive as the big stores in Kona on most items. We had a great time on the Big Island and really enjoyed our stay in this condo, one week wasn't time enough to see everything, so we will be going back."

  • Condo is great!

"We had an awesome time. Stayed a month. Waikoloa is quiet and centrally located so activities are not too far away. We enjoyed the quiet of the golf course. Plenty of beach and pool time."

  • Waikoloa Village 427480

"Very enjoyable stay and exactly as described/explained by manager (John L.). Good shopping within 25 miles (pretty much the same as the rest of USA). Recommend reading "Hawaii the Big Island Revealed" by Andrew Doughty for things to see and do also includes great driving maps. The Condo was very good, John was Great. Note - for lower golf prices, check out golfnowdotcom. I my round at the village was $23 including the cart!!!"

Waikoloa Village Travel Tips

Waikoloa Village Resort Is a Piece of Heaven on Earth

By staying at a Waikoloa Village resort on Hawaii’s Big Island, you will get to experience the true meaning of the “Spirit of Aloha.” Situated on the Kohala Coast in the midst of some of the most beautiful beaches in the world, Waikoloa rentals offer an extraordinary experience, full of lush gardens, breathtaking vistas, tranquil waterways, serene beaches, and plenty of exotic wildlife. The appeal of Kohala Coast vacation rentals simply cannot be denied.

Waikoloa Rentals Are Perfect for Any Occasion

The Waikoloa Village resort is a destination in and of itself. Sprawling more than 60 waterfront acres, you may never need to leave the grounds of these Waikoloa rentals. The resort offers air-conditioned trams to get you from point to point on the resort’s campus but if you would rather walk, the paths are flanked by authentic Asian and Polynesian artwork. More than 1,200 guest rooms are available and ready to suit anyone’s needs, making these Big Island Hawaii vacation rentals perfect for any occasion, including family vacations, weddings, honeymoons, and everything in between.

Enjoy Perfect Weather at Kohala Coast Vacation Rentals

Because the weather is almost always perfect with beautifully sunny skies, Kohala Coast vacation rentals have been the prime vacation destination for vacationers from everywhere. In years past, the island was also the prime choice for ancient Hawaiian royalty! Part of the appeal lies within Hapuna Beach State Recreation Area-–the home of one of the Unites States’ most highly rated public beaches. The rolling surf, white sand, and clear skies make Waikoloa Village resort ideal for sand and ocean lovers alike.

Do Not Miss King’s Trail During Your Stay at Waikoloa Village Resort

The coastline stretches about 40 miles and is connected by the ancient King’s Trail which actually passes through the “backyards” of many Waikoloa rentals. It has been used for centuries for different reasons but today offers a unique look at Hawaii’s history. As you follow the trail, you will pass through Pu’ukohola Heiau, the last Hawaiian temple. It was built to honor the war god Kuka’ilimoku. You will also pass through plenty of petroglyph fields. The most popular of petroglyph spots is on Waikoloa Beach Drive near the King’s Shops. Please stay on the trail to preserve these ancient carvings.
