  • Wonderful Stay!

"Our family of four had a wonderful time at this property! The condo was clean, cool, well-stocked and a true joy. The view of the ocean is breathtaking and we absolutely loved the location a bit away from the ocean where it was 6+ degrees cooler all the time! I'd definitely recommend this property to a family looking for a quiet and beautiful stay!"

  • Enchanted by Big Island

"“Fly today, remember for ever” is one of the advertising slogans inviting visitors to visit Big Island of Hawaii archipelago. I wholeheartedly concur. This was my first stay at the Waikoloa Village on the Big Island. We stayed in a vacation house. The choice of the location could not have been better. The Waikoloa Village is perfectly situated in the middle of Kona/Kohala area, the northwestern part of the island. We absolutely loved our stay and were charmed by it. Our vacation house on Pu’u Nui has all expected amenities. The rooms are very comfortable and spacious. There are a number of options for entertainment in this (northwestern) coast area of the Big Island. One might easily choose to frequent hotel resorts on the coast such as the Mauna Lani, Marriot Waikoloa, Hilton, Fairmont Orchid, Four Season, etc. day-by-day, but for the curious travelers who want to take fool advantage of the Kohala coast nature, and indeed to explore the Big Island in its native state, the staying in a specious vacation home such as the one at Waikoloa Village is an ideal base for the Big Island exploration. The beaches of the Kohala coast are very safe and a good for snorkeling. There are other beaches at walking distance. We spent a great time at Hapuna beach spotting the whales. This beach is very nice and peaceful and we watched whales jumping almost daily. We watched beautiful sunsets every evening. There are also numerous trails around everywhere for walking or biking. If I were to spend time in a Big Island for vacation again, I would probably choose this vacation house again, because I prefer to explore the environment of the island without hindrance of schedules or pre-planned programs. This relaxing, quiet vacation home is ideal for anyone who enjoys a low key, peaceful vacation on this island. I would not hesitate to recommend this property to anyone who is looking to stay in the Waikoloa Village area, as we had a great time in this vacation house. There are three double bad bedrooms, spacious living room, patio, and great kitchen with amenities. This vacation place offers also membership for access to a local pool and golf course. Tenants can enjoy local golf course, pool and tennis at their convenience. The pool is not the big one, but nice and not too crowded. All three facilities are in convenient walking distance or five minutes drive by car."

  • nice crash pad

"a great place for 2 people to stay and use as a place to sleep.i would not recomend it for 4 people , it's just to small and the futon was uncomfortable. it was extremely clean and centrally located.everyone we had contact with were very nice. it had all of the basics covered. it had no air but you will not need it with the trade winds. it did need some things, like a electric coffee pot, which we had to go and buy, the only chair in the living room was broken, and the bed sheets would not stay on the bed. hopefully they will correct these problems. other than that it was well worth the price we paid for the 3 weeks there L & S"

Waikoloa Village Travel Tips

Waikoloa Village Resort Is a Piece of Heaven on Earth

By staying at a Waikoloa Village resort on Hawaii’s Big Island, you will get to experience the true meaning of the “Spirit of Aloha.” Situated on the Kohala Coast in the midst of some of the most beautiful beaches in the world, Waikoloa rentals offer an extraordinary experience, full of lush gardens, breathtaking vistas, tranquil waterways, serene beaches, and plenty of exotic wildlife. The appeal of Kohala Coast vacation rentals simply cannot be denied.

Waikoloa Rentals Are Perfect for Any Occasion

The Waikoloa Village resort is a destination in and of itself. Sprawling more than 60 waterfront acres, you may never need to leave the grounds of these Waikoloa rentals. The resort offers air-conditioned trams to get you from point to point on the resort’s campus but if you would rather walk, the paths are flanked by authentic Asian and Polynesian artwork. More than 1,200 guest rooms are available and ready to suit anyone’s needs, making these Big Island Hawaii vacation rentals perfect for any occasion, including family vacations, weddings, honeymoons, and everything in between.

Enjoy Perfect Weather at Kohala Coast Vacation Rentals

Because the weather is almost always perfect with beautifully sunny skies, Kohala Coast vacation rentals have been the prime vacation destination for vacationers from everywhere. In years past, the island was also the prime choice for ancient Hawaiian royalty! Part of the appeal lies within Hapuna Beach State Recreation Area-–the home of one of the Unites States’ most highly rated public beaches. The rolling surf, white sand, and clear skies make Waikoloa Village resort ideal for sand and ocean lovers alike.

Do Not Miss King’s Trail During Your Stay at Waikoloa Village Resort

The coastline stretches about 40 miles and is connected by the ancient King’s Trail which actually passes through the “backyards” of many Waikoloa rentals. It has been used for centuries for different reasons but today offers a unique look at Hawaii’s history. As you follow the trail, you will pass through Pu’ukohola Heiau, the last Hawaiian temple. It was built to honor the war god Kuka’ilimoku. You will also pass through plenty of petroglyph fields. The most popular of petroglyph spots is on Waikoloa Beach Drive near the King’s Shops. Please stay on the trail to preserve these ancient carvings.
