"This is one of the nicest units in the complex. The kitchen was well equipped, and the furniture very comfortable. It is great sitting out on the lanai enjoying a glass of wine along with the beautiful sunsets. The unit was very clean and well kept.
We also enjoyed the activities at the golf club, including the water aerobics and other aerobics.

"Today is the last day of our 2 week stay at this excellent condo. Yes, just now sitting on the lanai, mai-tai in hand, watching the sun moving towards the horizon and hoping for another spectacular sunset. Our favorite spot the lanai! Here in the mornings at breakfast we enjoyed watching the golfers and also the brightly colored geckos climbing up the walls. We even had one trained (I think) to get the crumbs left on a plate. But our most favorite spot was the beach close to Puako, perfect for one of us who just had to swim every day. Since this was our 8th or more trip to the Big Island (3 times at Waikoloa Village) we didn't do much more this time, except for the usual trip to Kona and Waimea. There it was hot and we were happy to come back to our spot with a breeze overlooking the golf course and the ocean in the distance. Had seen most of this spectacular and unique island before. What a fantastic change of scenery from one side to the other. It was warmer than on previous visits in March and April, but the ceiling fans in all of the rooms did a great job to keep us feeling comfy. This certainly was the best equipped kitchen we ever experienced. And oh yes, spices galore if you wanted to cook, which we were too lazy and relaxed to do.
The Wifi connection also worked perfectly so that we could get acquainted with our brand-new iPad mini. Took great photos with the mini to send away pronto to our jealous friends left behind on the mainland. Mahalo to the owners and the property manager for being so very helpful. Hopefully, health permitting, we will be back many times. And now it's high time for another mai-tai refill. Mary (Missouri) and Helga (California)"

"We stayed a full month 3/15 at Amanda's rental and enjoyed her condo immensely. Comfortable, clean and conveniently located. The condo was spacious (+1200 sq.ft.), well furnished and stocked with many extras, such as recreational gear. The maintenance staff keeps the grounds immaculate and the Waikoloa Villas manager "Mike" was very friendly and a pleasure to meet and talk to. Highly recommended for anyone seeking a great vacation rental away from the population dense Beach Resorts."

"We stayed two weeks at Waikoloa Villas in May. We were celebrating my retirement with a good long mindset adjustment. This place was perfect for relieving stress and setting a new pace. On arrival we were greeted with a rosy red sunset right out the back door, then with bird song in the morning. In between there were plenty of spectacular beaches within 10 - 12 miles, with exhilarating fish and turtles, then on other days huge crashing waves! There were two sets of snorkel gear and a cooler in the closet; we added a boogie board and beach chairs to the beach supply collection. The location is convenient for exploring the green side of Hawaii too. Hilo is about 1.5 hours away, the volcano national Park is an hour further. I highly recommend the Hawaiian Cafe in Hilo for a real Hawaiian breakfast! Don't miss seeing Akaka falls, and be sure to purchase a coconut from the stand on the way down! They really are the very sweetest and the coconut meat goes well in frosty drinks.
The condo itself is very comfortable and well appointed. The kitchen had all the equipment we needed, the beds are comfortable, and the louvered shutters on the windows allow one to direct the lovely evening breezes through the house for natural air conditioning and freshening. I will certainly look up this property when we come back to beautiful Hawaii!"
