  • Very clean and quiet condo

"The condo was exactly like the pictures. there was more to the condo then the pictures were able to show. Master bath was huge, lanai was very nice and large. Kitchen was excellent. Even on Windy days we could sit on the lanai, because of the screens you did not feel the wind. The owner was very easy to communicate with and very helpful. The nicest condo we have stayed at. If you want to be close to golfing and beaches this is a perfect spot. Walking distance to shopping, and restaurants. The only downfall may be, to some, (not us as we had been to the island before) the fact that you aren't in the vibrant part of the island ie Kona etc."

  • Big Island Home

"Great view, great location. The beach was not far away. Construction in the area, but it was not really an issue. The owner really needs a better plan for the house AC. The house gets really hot when away from the home and the windows are closed during the day. It makes for a few uncomfortable hours until the wind cools the home when the windows are opened. Beach equipment was a nice surprise."

  • Home Away From Home!

"My parents and I absolutely loved our stay here! you could tell by each and every detail in the house that Sylvia and Denis truly want their guests to feel like their vacation to the island is comfortable and as close to feeling like home as possible. They even called mid trip to make sure everything was going well. It was truly a blessing to be able to stay at their home and will absolutely stay there again! Thank you Sylvia and Denis for everything!"

  • Wonderful home

"My husband and I stayed here for 4 weeks and enjoyed it very much. The house is clean, spacious, nicely decorated, has a well stocked kitchen and pantry, lots of towels, and a couple of coolers to take a picnic lunch to the beach. The backyard is quiet large and good for kids to play in; there is a very nice lani that overlooks the ocean and the northwest side of the island. The house is in a very safe and quiet family oriented neighborhood, a couple of miles away from the Waikoloa Village shopping center and golf course. Waikoloa Village is about 6 miles up the hill from the main highway at an elevation of 1,000+ feet so it's a little cooler, especially when the trade winds blow. It's away from the crowds of the large hotels/resorts, yet close to several beaches, golf courses, shopping at the King's & Queen's shops, restaurants, a short jaunt into Waimea or Hilo, a couple of hours away from Volcano National Park. From the very start of our reservation process Jim was very easy to work with; he's very accommodating and helpful. He quickly responded to any questions or concerns we had before we arrived and during our stay. We had a request that he filled with no problem, which we very much appreciated him doing. This house is a keeper, you will not be disappointed. Thanks Jim and Devenie for allowing us to share your house. P.S. Your friends/neighbors Carol & Doug are awesome people! Bob & Renee"
