  • Clean and spacious

"Our family of four stayed here for 2 weeks. The condo was clean and well stocked with extras. The beds were comfortable and we loved the river rock lined shower in the master bath. The loft provided the perfect area for our kids to play without taking up the living space. As is mentioned in previous reviews, there are boogie boards, beach toys, umbrellas, and 2 bikes available in the garage. Two caveats are worth mentioning: the condo is advertised as having free wireless. The reality is that you're actually using nearby wireless services that may or may not work. We contacted the office to get the wireless code and it worked for a day and then stopped. Another small item we found out was that the coffee pot doesn't turn off automatically. Not a big thing, but again, worth mentioning. With that said, this condo is still the best deal in Golf Villas. We enjoyed ourselves thoroughly. The pool, while not huge, has a few lagoon areas which the kids enjoyed. The Mauna Lani Beach club area was spectacular, with soft sand, plenty of walking trails through the fish ponds on the right, and clear water for snorkeling. It was so easy to drive to the beach with sufficient parking that we never bothered walking there (although you could in 10-15 min). In general, the Mauna Lani area does not have the bustle of people, shopping, and restaurants as the Waikoloa Beach Resort area. But if you want peace and quiet, and access to a private beach with a nice restaurant nearby, this condo at Golf Villas is the one to choose."

  • Great condo in Waikoloa Beach Villas on the Big Island

"Condo even looks better in person - nicely furnished, very comfortable! Our party took advantage of the golf membership twice - both times went very smooth. Golf staff very friendly. Pool area is small but it is nice and just steps away. Location was quiet even for off-season. Owner provides lots of information for the Island and beach equipment. We took in a couple of tours - Thunder Mountain Coffee (free) and Original Hawaiian Chocolate ($10). Enjoyed both. There are restaurants and Starbucks nearby. We enjoyed free shows at nearby Mauna Lani shops. Also drove to Weimea (about 30 minutes) to eat Hawaiian Style Cafe (great). Would rent again and recommend to friends and family!"

  • Perfect graduation trip"

"This property FAR EXCEEDED my expectations! Elegantly comfortable decorations, secure and private, killer views of the golf course and sunsets, immaculately maintained, beach necessities galore. We enjoyed several beach days at The Beach Club and 49 Black snorkeling with beautiful fish and coral. Pool area beautiful and clean. This was a great location to drive north or south or head to the inner island area. Dayana Ranch horseback ride was my daughters favorite of all the rides we Have done across the country and Jamacia...and she owns her own horse and rides all the time! Thanks for the recommendation! Foodland discount was very much appreciated as we ate in most of the time. Wish we would have had more days...or weeks here! I Heartily recommend this property and hope to return myself in the future. ---new Colorado fans and friends!"

  • Return Trip inevitable

"The condominium we stayed in was impeccably decorated and all of the appliances and accessories necessary. We lacked for nothing. Can walk to all restaurants and stores. It even had some beach chairs and boogie boards from prior vacationers. Close to the beach, hot tub and pool were great. The grounds were kept clean and well maintained. Had my coffee every morning out on the lani and watched the golfers putt out. Would highly recomend it to anyone. Return trip, inevitable."
