"The condo was absolutely beautiful! It was in a perfect location to get to the pool, yet was quiet. The furniture was upscale, but comfortable and suited to both children and adults. Beach chairs, towels and all manner of beach gear is there for your use. This was our third stay at Fairway Villas. It is perfectly located for walking to the nearby Kings Shop and Queen's Marketplace, as well as the "A" beach area. We wouldn't think of staying anywhere else. We were disappointed that Hapuna Beach now charges $5.00 a day for parking. We instead started going to Kea Bay Beach, the entrance of which is across from the Veteran's Cemetery. The beach opens at 9:00 am and is gorgeous! The waves are a little rough for younger ones and there is no shade. Also, you have to walk over a bit of lava to reach the beach. For shade and young ones, we recommend Spencer Beach. It has more of a park atmosphere, with picnic tables and shady spots. There are so many beautiful things to see on the island. Definitely go to The Hawaiian Botanical Gardens, preferably as early in the morning as possible since it gets hot and humid quickly. While over that way, visit Waiapo Valley and Akaka Falls. There will be a charge at Akaka. Actually, the best advice is to buy the latest addition of Hawaii The Big Island Revealed Guidebook by Andrew Doughty, which tells you everything you would want to know about the island. Our only other disappointment was that there wasn't any spices, cooking oil, etc. left over from other guests. Other condos we have stayed in had things left over in the pantry so that we didn't have to buy as much at the store. That is just a minor issue, though. We would recommend this condo to anyone and would not hesitate to stay there again ourselves!"

"We stayed at this lovely property while attending a conference at the Orchid. It was perfect for our needs, beautiful, spacious and had everything we could need. Loved the fact that the cute little grocery store was just right around as well. Thanks Kathryn for sharing your property. It's good to be home but I miss cocktail hour on your Lani🍷🌴"

"The condo is very nice, well supplied, conveniently located, and all around great! The notebooks in the unit are very complete for how to get to everything, including the manuals for the appliances. The place is very very organized so that it takes little time to get settled and a checklist for leaving to make things easy. Communications with the owner are exceptional and he is very responsive. I will definitely be looking to stay here again."

"the sun hits the lanai by nine in the morning and stays until sunset - I get sun, my wife enjoys the shade. Being on the second floor, the view is relaxing over the pool and the golf course and the sun sets were spectacular. What more can I say, it was our fifth time there and since A. J. lives in the area he gives great advice on all things happening and is always available for help. On all our stays we never lacked anything to make our visit completely enjoyable."
