A Beautiful Home Away from Home
"Spacious layout, beautifully decorated and furnished, complete kitchen/appliances, luxurious bath amenities. It sounds cliche but all of it's true! Sitting on the lanai sipping our cocktails, watching the sunset glow. We truly enjoyed our stay. Close to shops, beaches, restaurants (Tropics Ale House was VERY convenient and Lava Lava Beach Club was great - make a reservation). The 'Welcome' fruit basket and coffee were greatly appreciated. There is a small home library that includes books on the flora/fauna of The Big Island, as well as some guide books. All of these were very helpful and well-used. Owners were easy to contact and responsive in every way. We snorkeled everyday at nearby beaches, drove to Keauhou Bay and took a Sea Quest boat trip, visited the Volcanoes National Park (a very long drive, but doable), had ice cream in Hawi, and just plain relaxed in our home away from home. A perfect way to celebrate our anniversary. We would definitely come back!"

Best spot in Waikoloa. Location, view, layout, design, comfort, sunset on lanai every night.
"We are a multigenerational family with a toddler and this was the perfect rental. The upper floor has a view of the ocean sunset from the lanai of which we never tired. The lanai is spacious enough for the family to relax or have dinner comfortably and if you open the doors fully the living room becomes a tropical lanai of its own. The furnishings are beautiful and comfortable, the kitchen fantastic and well equipped and the layout great with beautiful and spacious baths. Local support was immediate when we called with a question. Even at this high season, the property, beach and pool were never crowded and we always got chairs. Additionally the condo has very nice folding chairs and an umbrella along with several beach towels. The pool and a very nice beach are an easy walk and it's a short drive to Hapuna or other beaches. The shops were a short drive or pleasant walk. Lava Lava club is a beautiful bar/restaurant right there on the beach and there is a Marriott nearby, convenient for dining when the other restaurants close early but far enough away and well hidden so you can't really tell it's there from the property. We had a car but with the hotel nearby you could probably book a tour from that location. We went to Volcano, Mauna Kea Observatory, (SUPER recommended if you like stars), Akaka Falls as easy day trips while others stayed at the beach. Beach is great for toddlers or older swimmers with easy rentals of stand up paddle, kayak or snorkeling equipment. Nice snorkeling with fish and turtles. Highly recommended, best spot of the entire Waikoloa resort, (and we walked it and saw lots of properties!)"

The property manager was very helpful.
The vacation rental was spotless.
I was more than happy with the location.
I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental.
Overall, I recommend this vacation rental.
We can't say enough good things about this condo/villa. If you are looking to stay on the Kohala/Waikoloa part of the Big Island, this is the place to stay. The owners have set up this unit so that you can show up and enjoy yourself from the first minute. Plenty of beach gear (towels, mats, snorkels, boogie boards, umbrella); a well stocked kitchen (pots, pans, knives, spices, coffee maker and grinder, and blender). If you choose to cook, just buy food. Our party of two adults and two teens had plenty of space to stay out of each others' way which is key to enjoying our down time. The only downside is proximity to Kona snorkeling spots, but there are plenty of natural attributes to enjoy near Waikoloa if you plan your trip right. The management company checked in just after arrival to ensure we were happy with everything. We were able to take advantage of a late-booking discount, but we would seek out this unit well in advance if we return to the big island."
