  • More Than We Expected

"We stayed in this beautiful end unit for 11 days in early February with 6 adults and our 1 1/2 year old granddaughter. We rented this villa for the three bedrooms and three bathrooms plus the large grassy area next to the unit for our granddaughter to play in. Nothing about this unit disappointed. The beds were comfortable. Bathrooms were nice sized with the master bath being quite large with a large walk in closet. Kitchen was large enough for at least four of us to be there at the same time. Ice maker in the refrigerator provided plenty of ice for the constant demand of mai tais. More than enough comfortable seating and the dining table is large enough for all six of us with room to spare. Air conditioning kept the rooms comfortable in 83 - 86 degree days and all windows were screened so mother nature cooled the rooms as we slept. Check in with Bennett was very easy. He lives on site and was so very helpful. He was always available by phone and quick to answer our many questions. Prior to our arrival I emailed Kelly asking if there was a high chair and her response was to purchase one. The pack and play worked perfect for our granddaughter to sleep in. We used the two bicycles to ride to the beach and the available beach toys and children's books were a pleasant surprise. We used the boogie boards and beach chairs every day. The pantry was already well stocked with spices, plastic wrap, baggies, etc. The upper lanai off the master bedroom had seating for three and offers a nice view of golf course. The lower lanai has a very nice bbq with a table and seating for four. It was wonderful to be able to bbq right outside our villa and not have to walk to a community bbq area. The grounds of are very well maintained. The pool is cleaned daily and offers enough water to cool off but not a lot if you want to swim laps. The area was very quiet except for the wonderful sounds of the birds waking us up each morning. We will be back to the Big Island and will not hesitate to stay here again. I recommend this villa to everyone."

  • Heavenly stay at Villa Hui

"We stayed at this beautiful home over Thanksgiving week. It was heaven! The home is meticulously decorated and lovingly cared for; everything was in order and Diana took care to make sure we were comfortable during our stay. The location is perfect.. Shops are walking distance, including Snorkel Bob's, where we rented snorkel gear and got expert advice and how and where to snorkel. It turns out one of the best spots on the island is at the private beach you have access to when you stay at this home. Also nearby are a grocery store and good restaurant choices! Perfection!"

  • Beauty at 1500 feet

"We just returned from two weeks on the Big Island. Our second week was in Alice's Cottage. The home is very comfortable and had all the amenities we needed, plus a beautiful patio to enjoy the scenery. The photos were a true representation of the Cottage. Alice was always available and turned us on to all "local" attractions which made our time more enjoyable. The views were outstanding overlooking the Kohala coast. Both Mauna Loa and Mauna Kea were spectacular and right in view. We were 7 miles from the town of Waimea and located on the dryer side. The house location allowed visiting Hawi and Waipio Valley an easy and spectacular drive. We suggest having barbecue at The Fish and Hog; live music and food at the Blue Dragon. Thanks, Alice!!"

  • Paradise

"My husband and I stayed here for about 3 weeks and everything was perfect. Jessi was amazing! She was always quick to respond even with our first inquiry about the property. I believe we even talked on the phone within minutes of that first inquiry. She was helpful from the beginning and right to the end of our stay. The townhome is beautiful and very well equipped. Even the cupboards are stocked with spices and other things that you may have forgotten to get from the local grocery store. The grocery store and some restaurants and shops are very close. You can either walk or ride the bicycles provided in the garage. The property is located in a very safe community and there is a gorgeous pool and spa located in the middle of the community. But it's very quiet and you really don't hear the noise from the pool area. The only little negative was how much traffic was on the main road exicing the townhome community because there are resorts so close to the property. It also could have been because we travelled during the high season. All in all we really enjoyed our stay and would stay again in a heartbeat. Thanks Jessi!!!"
