"it is our second stay in this condo and just like the first time, it was amazing. We felt very welcome by Dawn and Robert and their dogs are so nice!
The condo in itself is very nice, well kept and very comfortable whether you have a family or you are a couple.
The view is fantastic and it is so quiet.
The position of the condo on the island is very good as you have easy access to all the touristy things to do and also some very nice snorkelling spot that you don't get as easily to the North of Kona.
We are looking forward to coming back!"

"This was a last minute booking for us, and host was very helpful. Cottage was very clean, and really well decorated. Bed was comfortable, and great location to start our trips. Great place for a couple!"

Warm, Friendly home away from home to experience the Big Island
"The house is wonderfully charming and close to great beaches for our 'keiki' (kids) aged 2 and 4. Its our second time back in two years and we wouldn't stay anywhere else. Very affordable in contrast to other places we looked into, and perfectly located to get a real feel for the island. Away, but not too far away from the hustle and bustle of Kailua-Kona, its the perfect location if you have a rental car. We had three generations under one roof and didn't step on each other's toes. Master bedroom is beautiful and the other two upper bedrooms are pleasantly spacious. Downstairs bedroom has loads of space, and was convenient for us since it also had the washer and dryer in it...
Its got all the amenities you would expect and a little bit of cottage charm. Highly recommended!"

"This was the perfect place for us! We started our two week vacation here to celebrate our 30th anniversary, stayed 4 nights then moved on to the Kohala Coast at the resorts, which is what we have been used to... love it of course, especially the Mauna Kea where we started together and are currently closing this adventure. We are so thankful that we decided to do something a little different, and we loved our choice and hope to come back soon!
We are also vacation rental owners so we appreciate all the attention to detail and professionalism from Dennis. The decor is so tasteful and modern, yet cozy and comfortable! Communication was perfect. We stayed in the downstairs studio... it was amazing to wake up and see the lush surroundings from three views! The only heads up is that A/C does not exist is "real" Hawaii, but you will hopefully adjust after everything is opened up with both ceiling fans on. We loved the outdoor shower like others have mentioned, used the snorkel gear (just have to rent fins in town - we got them at Pineapple for $5/day), used the ice chest provided (mini fridge only in the studio, gotta keep the beer super cold!) and beach chairs too. Get ice before you go down Napo'opo'o Rd upon arrival - there's nothing after that, you can get it at the Chevron station before the turn down the mountain. Plan to get ice daily. The Choice Market on the highway has the best seasoned chicken that we cooked on the provided BBQ - YUM! We also found the "hole in the wall" Sandy's Drive Thru (not really a drive thru and a tip from a local) really good for breakfast, best deal @ $4.95! Yep, Annie's Burgers is great! The drive / roads at first may seem a bit intimidating, but you get used to it fast!
Manini Beach is awesome, loved talking to Auntie Sandy and Ed (the shell guy) at the bay. The locals have basically grown up in this village and we felt more than welcomed, safe and embraced! We kayaked and saw lots of dolphins (my favorites!) in the bay, then got a tip that the dolphins were going crazy at 2 Step (5-10 min drive), so off we went - AMAZING, such a dream!! The next day too!!
Bottom line = AWESOME MEMORIES!!!! Thank you Dennis!!"
