  • Delightful!

"We loved our stay here! We especially enjoyed the STUNNING gardens, amazing views, fantastic hot-tub, great deck and fun pool. The pictures may not do it justice and my partner and I became obsessed with taking pictures of the great landscaping and beautiful sunsets. The location is near great little villages to explore coffee shops and boutiques. I always thought that I was purely in love with the Puna Coast but having stayed here I am now equally enamoured with the Kona side of the island. We stayed in the lower unit and I'd most recommend this for a romantic escape from the madding crowd. We actually stayed with my mother and her husband and even though privacy wasn't optimal we were all so taken by the unit, it's grounds and ammenities that this proved to be minor. However, my partner and I are keen to return to take full advantage of it as a romantic retreat. The homeowner is fabulous: Professional, warm and friendly. I enthusiastically recommend this delighful home to stay!"

  • THE PERFECT PLACE TO VACATION ON THE BIG ISLAND!!!

"A spectacular home that is just as beautiful on the inside as the view from the lanai! A very short walk to a secluded, smooth black sand beach. A black pebble beach literally feet from the front door giving access to a lot of fun in the water. Fantastic snorkeling and scuba right from the black pebble beach! Rent gear at Jack's and go for it!!!! Many whale and dolphin sightings right from the lanai as we sipped refreshments! Head north to exciting night life. Head south to the green sand beach. Take a picnic lunch and a 4X4 Jeep. A fun drive out to the beach! Continue on to Volcano National park. Further east is the rainforest! The location of this house allows you to enjoy spectacular sunsets every night. Diana is a wonderful host and has provided lots of information to help you plan your exploration of the island as well as kayaks and snorkeling gear etc. for your enjoyment. The only way to describe our stay is "INCREDIBLE". Thank you Diana!"

  • Great find!!

"Very nice property with lots of space! Beautiful view. Great little beach at the bottom of the hill for watching the sunsets!! Easy to find. The drive is steep but by the second day we were used to it. Had no problem getting in and out. Hawaii is on a volcano. A lot of the driveways and roads are steep.;) the water pressure was low. Talked to one of the neighbors and he said it could be the water filters. We just made sure to not run the washer or dishwasher while anyone showered. It all worked out fine!! We loved the lay out and enjoyed our view!! The house was clean and well kept!! Thank you!!"
