an organic paradise
"We LOVED staying at Papalani Farm.. it was so much more than we expected.... the pictures don't do the property justice. There is so much variety on the farm... really fun gardens, fruit & nut trees, flowers, the food and fresh eggs from the chickens... The home was Peaceful, Clean, Spacious... we felt it was a great deal for the dollars spent. Nicely located for beaches, hiking, swimming with dolphins & going to the volcano. We hope to come back!
Nikki was a gracious hostess while giving us our space... I would highly recommend a massage from her too!"

"Super cute bungalow in the jungle that was perfect for our 6-day big island vacation. Reggie is very sweet and helpful, the house is very comfortable and welcoming, and the hot tub is a joy after a long day in the sun. The critters outside are noisy at night, but in a very peaceful and relaxing way; I very much enjoyed the sounds of the jungle when laying down to sleep. There are restaurants and shops and a big grocery store within a 10-minute drive, so we liked the location too. All around great place!"

"We stayed 8 days and had a wonderful time. The house easily accommodated our party of 15 and worked great for all ages (1-year-old baby to 69 year-old grandpa). We found the entire house very clean when we arrived and the beds are very comfortable. The kitchen has a good stove, refrigerator and dishwasher and is arranged so it is easy to work in. The center island is large and makes a good place for serving. There are lots and lots of pot and pans, bowls, utensils, plates, etc.
When we were there there were several boxes of snorkeling equipment, kids beach toys and a couple of kayaks all of which we made use of.
The big lanai off the living room/kitchen is especially inviting and we spent a lot of time there relaxing, talking, eating and playing games. The yard is large and lovely with lots of beautiful flowers and coconut and papaya trees. The house feels secluded even though there are several houses nearby. All the foliage blocks the other houses.
It is close to the ocean and there are areas within a couple of minutes easy walk that are safe and interesting for babies, children and adults. We saw spinner dolphins in the morning, snorkeled and kayaked later in the day. The tide pools at Manini Beach are fascinating.
We found the owner and manager both to be easy to work with and quick to respond to emails.
We would recommend it and would love to go back ourselves."

Clean, well equipped & 30 second walk to Manini Beach
"Our family had an amazing stay at the Dolphin house. The caretaker was so thoughtful meeting us there later at night. The house had everything we needed & more - snorkel equipment, water shoes, boogie boards, etc ! The 30 second walk to Manini beach was so convenient and the water clear with awesome snorkeling. The "auntie" caretaker at the beach was so nice and full of stories! We found that we did have to drive further than expected when we had other activities that we needed to get to but this does not seem too unusual for the Big Island."
