Very Nice, Beautiful Beach
"This place was awesome, your own nearly private beach! Small pebble beach was nice after being in the sand at other beaches. Well equipped, boggie boards, some scuba gear, coolers and chairs even a sun-brella. Only negative thing I could even think of was it took so long to cool the house off after being away all day. I would definitely recommend."

"We had a wonderful trip to Hawaii and it all started here! Thank you Gary for taking us diving in great
locales. As beginner divers, we really appreciated all of Gary's patience and help! He had extra equipment that we used, took his jeep down with us every day, and provided tanks and weights. Our teenage son really enjoyed talking to Gary about music. We are so glad that we stayed here and received an insider's guide to Hawaii's diving and snorkeling. The cottage itself is spacious, clean, secluded and has a wonderful lanai to sit out on and eat meals or just relax. We'll definitely stay here again if we come back. Thank you again, Gary and Susan for being such thoughtful hosts and making our vacation so memorable."

"I spent 11 restful nights at the Koa Cabin and thoroughly enjoyed my time there. The cabin is well stocked with virtually everything needed for an extended stay. Heide and Jeffrey make visitors feel extra special with their warm Hawaiian hospitality and treat their guests to fresh fruit, fresh baked bread and jam, and local Kona coffee. Just slightly off the beaten path (which is exactly the point) and yet conveniently located, a stay at the Koa Cabin is a unique get away to a place that is truly special. It was hard to leave but I hope to return again soon!"

"When we first arrived at Pu'uhonua, we were in awe. The warm welcoming gorgeous house was decorated with fresh tropical flowers and home grown fruit. We immediately sent pictures to our CA friends who were jealous with envy. The multiple balconies and tall glass doors allowed us to view the surrounding landscape and faraway beaches. The scent of tropical plant life, the friendly birds and geckos that would visit us during our stay, and the cool island breeze made our stay incredibly memorable. We can't thank Bruce enough for his adventure recommendations and we're looking forward to our next visit again!"
