Our First Kona Visit
"My wife and I recently finished a 2 week stay in this condo on the shores of Kona. We have stayed in numerous VRBO condo's in the past few years, this one, was very nice. It was clean, well equipped, and comfortable. The location was ideal for walking to town, shopping, or just going for our morning walks up and down the hills of Kona. It has a beautiful view of the ocean, a large deck, also it is level entrance for any of those who may be challenged with stairs. There are 4 well kept and clean BBQ's to share with other guests, and the pools area is more than adequate. Our host, Greg, was very accomodating, and even allowed us a late check out, as there was a day before the next guest arrived. We would highly recommend this condo to any travellers..."

"We were a family of 12, ages 5-67. This was a wonderful base to start out each day and end each night. We were very happy with the rooms, the location, the views, and of course the owner who was very helpful. There is enough space so if you wanted you could spread out and enjoy some quiet time, but you could also all hang out together..especially on the wonderful lanai. Everything in Kona is close, 20 min to Costco, Safeway, Walmart and of course some nice snorkelling spots. The following isn't complaints, just things you should be aware of; the pools are not heated, but the kiddie pool was warmer so thats where the kids spent most of their time. This may be different in the summer time. The roosters referred to in other reviews are noisy and they start in the middle of the night marking their territory by crowing. Bring ear plugs or just wait a couple nights and you will get used to it,mostly. There are ample kitchen supplies and condiments and the owner has extras that get left behind, like our sriracha sauce. I'd also recommend Google street view the drive from the airport as it is fun and twisty, respect the speed limits. It cools down nicely at night so no a/c is not a problem. We had a wonderful vacation in part because of this wonderful property and owner, and her cute "little" dog. Aloha and mahalo."
