"That was the response of my son when we walked into this comfy condo situated a stone's throw from Coffee plantations and Kona itself.
"What, you don't like it?"
"Are you kidding," he repeated, "we get to stay HERE?!?"
I mention this because that was the feeling we all had after the owners set us up with these views, beds, and amenities for a whole month.
It really could not have been better if it had cost a thousand dollars more!
When we weren't putting miles on the rental car to see the various colors of beach sands and snorkel our way through herds of turtles, a congress of sea urchin (every shape and color), and far to many yellow fish to even catalog, we were crashed here. We had our breakfast enjoying the yellow and red-headed winged visitor (feeder included!) and sat with our feet up watching the sun rainbow the clouds or set like a giant red ball into the sea.
Every question we had was answered. Every concern, addressed. Every need, anticipated and written out with possible solutions and suggestions for the best the coffee coast had to offer (including budget considerations).
I'm an author and so, on a few days, I was knocking around alone here while my wife and two sons (9 and 13) went exploring. It was quiet enough to get some writing done... even with the view. So it was really good on many levels.
It was really was, overall, the vacation of a lifetime... and none us can wait until we can do it again.
I'm not sure if this forum allows direct contact, but I will happily answer any question - and the owners can put you in touch with me by e-mail - to prove is is not some fake review. Which you might think because I can't find any downside. But, honestly, the only downside I can find is that... in the end, we had to leave it and go back home.
PS: I'm a 50-something disabled vet who manages with a cane, and had no problem with the stairs into the place. Just in case that's a concern of yours."

"Our family spent 2 glorious weeks at Keauhou Hideaway over the Holiday period. The view from the front lanai and decks is gorgeous ... unspoiled vistas of the Ocean as far as the eye can see. Property is well kept, nicely laid out (particularly with the 3 bedrooms separated ), quiet as we only heard 1 truck go by on our last day, and a yard that is a quiet oasis for all to enjoy. Great attention has been spent with the various types of fruit trees planted here (lime, orange, fig, grapefruit, etc). Ask Nancy the skilled gardener for a guided tour of the property. Pool and hot tub were a hit with the family. All meals were spent on the covered lanai while we enjoyed the views, both during the day and late afternoon sunsets. We wold love to return soon. Appreciate the time we had in paradise."

"This house is amazing for a wonderful Hawaiian getaway! Our party had 10 people and still felt like there was so much space in the house. The house is very private surrounded by acres of beautiful exotic plants, including tropical fruit trees. While still maintaining privacy, the backyard is wide open with a 180° elevated view of the ocean and faces west for gorgeous views of Kona sunsets. The shoreline is just minutes away which made it so convenient to enjoy snorkeling and paddle boarding anytime. After the beach, we'd go home to enjoy the rest of the afternoon in our private infinity swimming pool. It was so relaxing to watch the boats in the ocean with the backdrop of a beautiful sunset. There are many local restaurants nearby serving authentic Hawaiian food and Kona coffee farms which offer free coffee! The house caretaker, Adam, is a very nice and handsome young man (he's taken ladies) who will be there to help whenever you need. If you don't need him, you won't see him. If you want a rental house to feel like home (or even better), this is it. We hope to return someday soon to capture more wonderful memories."
