"We stayed for eight nights and just loved this cozy little surfside nest.
Highly recommended for couples who don't mind the waves swooping in to 10 feet from the lanai. Watch the surfers just offshore all day long. Turtles surface frequently for a gulp of air. And if you like snorkeling like we do, the most accessible snorkeling hole on the whole Kona side of the island is a walk, literally a WALK down the word at Kahalu'u Beach Park. Owner Julie is great to work with, very quick to communicate, with clear information. We plan to be back."

"Had a wonderful 10 days at Kahaluu Reef condo. The beach is right across the road. Perfect for snorkelling and surfing or just relaxing. Also a short walk to Magic Sands if you want to try out the boogie boards. The pool area is wonderful after a long day to relax and barbecue. Also the Kona area has the best weather so a great place to stay. Thanks Bob for the hospitality and Paul for making it so easy to book."

The property manager was very helpful.
The vacation rental was spotless.
I was very happy with the location.
I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental.
Overall, I recommend this vacation rental.
The condo was wonderfully located directly across from the best snorkeling in Kona (before breakfast beats the crowd). The condo furnishings are nice but the only dining table is outside on the lanai. The kitchen basics are available but there are essentially no condiments left by the cleaning crews. This means you have to buy everything for the few meals you may wish to prepare. Literally every other condo we have stayed in was better in this concern. Still, we were very pleased with the accommodation and received special assistance from Irma of the rental company when we needed it. We would choose it again if the occasion arose."

"We love the location of this property! As avid snorkelers, the direct access to Kahalu'u Beach was very convenient. And the view of evening sunsets from the lanai was also very special -- we actually saw the famous 'green flash' once at sunset. We also like the proximity to the Keouhou Shopping Center which has a large grocery store and several good restaurants featuring a variety of ethnic as well as American dining choices -- we especially like the crepes at Peaberry & Gallette.
The condo itself is nicely decorated and equipped quite well with all one needs for a very short stay or a very long one. Our bed in the master bedroom was especially comfortable. It was also quiet and very private. My spouse has a passion for his work as well as Hawaii and the internet connection worked perfectly -- he was quite productive even on 'vacation'!
Upon arrival at the condo there was a wonderful fruit basket from the owner wishing us happy stay as guests --and access to the owner as well as onsite manager is only a phone call away if you need anything special or even advice on fun places to visit and eat.
We loved our stay and would happily stay there again in the future."
