  • Coconut Condo

"We had the pleasure of staying in the Coconut Condo for two glorious months. By the time we left it was beginning to feel like home to us. We enjoyed watching the day begin whilst sipping our morning coffee on the verandah. In the evenings we enjoyed watching the sun setting over Kona Bay hoping to see the elusive green flash...well next time. On those evenings we wanted to dine out we could choose from many good restaurants that were just a short walk to town. For those nights we dined in we found the kitchen to well kitted out for our needs. Though we had a car, we did not need to use it every day. We did, however, need it for the grocery shops, Safeway and KTA. Costco is about 10 or so minutes a bit further out. There is a garden market in town where we could obtain our vegetables and bouquets of flowers, as needed. Again, it is a short walk to town. The owners could not have been nicer and more responsive to our questions. We truly were sad to leave and we look forward to returning in the future."

  • Great Place to Stay!!

"This was a wonderful place for our family vacation. We had large group and the house was great as it had a lot of spots for people to hang out. The lanai was our favorite gathering place to watch the sunset every evening as well as a perfect place to enjoy our Thanksgiving dinner. The house had everything we needed and it was nice to have beach gear like boogie boards and towels. The little kid wading pool was a hit with our kids as well (who knew after spending all day at the beach they would want more water time). Simmy was very accommodating and helped us to find the best activities with each of my inquiries. The location was great as we could walk down to the beach where we saw turtles within a minute after getting into the water. The beach there was great for snorkeling, paddle-boarding and surfing. This truly was a great place to stay!"

"Best week EVER!!! Not only is this house across the street from an awesome snorkeling beach, but it's perfectly comfortable for 2-3 people. The kitchen is very modern and has everything you need with all accessories available. There's a nice big flat screen tv just off the kitchen as well as in the bedroom. There's a nice patio that you can eat outside while watching the surfers. There's also a little office nook with a desk that you can work on your laptop while watching ocean views. Just 4 miles down the road, there's a ton of shops and restaurants with live music on the weekends. I can't wait for my next trip!!"

  • 35th Anniversary Celebration

"My husband & I celebrated our 35th anniversary with our daughters at this lovely condo in the most perfect location. We had our morning coffee on the lanai watching and listening to the surf rolling in. We made the 5 minute walk across the street to Kahaluu Bay beach park daily and snorkeled in the beautiful clear water. We were delighted to see many beautiful fish as well as green sea turtles each day. The convenient location of the condo allowed us to walk to the beach, snorkel a few hours, and walk back to the condo to clean up and get ready for the rest of our day all by 10 am. We experienced several activities while vacationing, whale watch cruise, dolphin swim, luau, and all were just a few miles drive from the condo. There was also some very fun shopping areas just a few miles north of the condo. We had one long day when we drove to the volcano and "beach hopped" on our way there. We stayed and watched the gorgeous sunset behind Mauna Loa and saw the beautiful colors of the steaming Kilauea caldera at dusk. It was a once in a lifetime sight and very much worth the effort to get there. We were very pleased with the how well stocked the condo was with all you could need for a comfortable stay without needing to haul everything from home. There was even a Yahtzee game! :-) The owners have thought of everything! They were very easy to communicate with and answered my many questions in a friendly and very timely manner. We would highly recommend this condo to anyone looking to enjoy a very comfortable stay in a beautiful and convenient location. We look forward to an opportunity to come back and stay here again. Mahalo Duane & Cheri for everything."

Kahaluu Beach Travel Tips

Experience Kona, Hawaii with Kahaluu Condo Rentals

Live like a local when you rent a vacation property at Kahaluu condo rentals on the picturesque Kona Coast on the big island of Hawaii. Whether you choose to reserve a condo or a private home from Kahaluu vacation homes, you'll find that renting a property is far more beneficial than staying at a crowded and overpriced hotel. Spouses, friends, and children alike will be happy to retreat to a private sanctuary after a busy day of exploring the Kona Coast.

See Hawaii from a Different Vantage Point

In addition to miles of pristine, sandy beaches and an expanse of warm, azure ocean waters lining the coast of Kona, visitors can also experience the many hidden attractions that the big island has to offer. For instance, Kings Trail Rides O' Kona (located at 81-6420 Mamalahoa Highway just south of the Kahaluu region) offers horseback riding tours for both novice and experienced riders near Kahaluu condo rentals. This company boasts a trail ride that eventually reaches the Captain Cook Monument situated in Kealakekua Bay. Here, riders are able to disembark and swim or snorkel before enjoying a satisfying lunch outdoors.

Water Fun for Everyone

Staying at one of the many private properties available with Kona Coast vacation rentals affords travelers the flexibility to enjoy Hawaii on their own schedule. Sleep in late at the Kahaluu vacation homes and mosey along to the beach when you're ready. Another option is to wake up early and take part in one of the many ocean tours offered up and down the coast of Kona. Ocean Safaris Kayak Adventures launches daily kayaking tours from Keauhou Bay and takes participants south to Kuamoo Bay, stopping to explore a breathtaking sea cave when conditions permit. Whether you're a beach, ocean, or animal lover, you'll fall in love with the Kona Coast.
