  • Excellent condo

"This condo was more than the pictures and description. It was perfect. Clean! Location! Complete! The owner, Janet, made sure that every detail was covered. Thank you."

  • Kahuluu Bay

"My husband, 13 y/o daughter and I spent 6 nights for Spring break and my birthday in this condo. The condo was clean, comfortable and has a great view of a beach that has great snorkeling. The bedroom has a very comfortable queen size bed, which was fine despite us being used to a king at home. The exta bed is a "futon" mattress stored in the bedroom closet that we put in the living room on the floor for our daughter. She said it was very comfortable as well. The bathroom was nice with double sinks, a full tub and a separate shower, which was nice to rinse off the sand w/o having to take a full shower. The toilet is in a separate adjacent area with a stackable w/d unit that was very nice to have available. There were plenty of towels both beach, bath and kitchen. The kitchen is great with plenty of dishes, a full size range, with separate oven and microwave. We did make use of some of the snorkel gear but it is only "okay" and would recommend renting it elsewhere. Sitting on the lanai was heaven looking out at the ocean and hearing the waves. It is a very convenient location to get to many attractions. I was worried from the pictures that the closer proximity to a busy street would make for more noise but I didn't notice it. There wasn't a hair dryer but Brandi took care of that immediately. We flew standby so our arrival was 2 days earlier as well as the departure but Brandi was very flexible working with us on that and we were able to stay for the whole time we were in Kona. Brandi was very easy to work with and we would recommend this condo to others and hope to return."

  • Amazing ocean front bungalow!

"This place is incredible! It's the perfect size for two people and has everything you need for your stay. We were very impressed with the care in which it was decorated. It really makes you feel like you are on a Hawaiian vacation and everything is new and clean. I didn't realize it was going to be quite as close to the water as it was! We would watch the surfers in the morning on the lanai. The outdoor shower was awesome and very private feeling. The pictures don't do it justice. Overall, we couldn't be happier with our choice and would definitely stay here if/when we come back!"

  • Nice unit; Nice location!

"Rating Details: I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. I was more than happy with the location. The vacation rental was very clean. The property manager was adequately helpful. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We enjoyed our stay at Kahalu'u Beach Villas 101. We especially liked the fact that the beach was right across the street. We however did not use the pool or the hot tub; nor did we see anyone else use it. We also did not see a cleaning crew check or clean the pool/spa - it was possible they did it when we were out. I would recommend that the lawn crew/man not start mowing the lawn before 8:oo a.m. - not a pleasant way to wake up; also he proceeded to take a break and eat at around 8:30 right outside our lanai so I did not feel comfortable sitting out there to drink my coffee. The unit was very clean and well-maintained. Interesting fact: we never saw or heard from the management - not even a welcome call or anything - I little different but okay. The television in the "living room" was a little complicated but we figured it out on the second day. Yes, I would recommend Kahalu'u Beach Villas 101 - cannot say what the other units would be like though."

Kahaluu Beach Travel Tips

Experience Kona, Hawaii with Kahaluu Condo Rentals

Live like a local when you rent a vacation property at Kahaluu condo rentals on the picturesque Kona Coast on the big island of Hawaii. Whether you choose to reserve a condo or a private home from Kahaluu vacation homes, you'll find that renting a property is far more beneficial than staying at a crowded and overpriced hotel. Spouses, friends, and children alike will be happy to retreat to a private sanctuary after a busy day of exploring the Kona Coast.

See Hawaii from a Different Vantage Point

In addition to miles of pristine, sandy beaches and an expanse of warm, azure ocean waters lining the coast of Kona, visitors can also experience the many hidden attractions that the big island has to offer. For instance, Kings Trail Rides O' Kona (located at 81-6420 Mamalahoa Highway just south of the Kahaluu region) offers horseback riding tours for both novice and experienced riders near Kahaluu condo rentals. This company boasts a trail ride that eventually reaches the Captain Cook Monument situated in Kealakekua Bay. Here, riders are able to disembark and swim or snorkel before enjoying a satisfying lunch outdoors.

Water Fun for Everyone

Staying at one of the many private properties available with Kona Coast vacation rentals affords travelers the flexibility to enjoy Hawaii on their own schedule. Sleep in late at the Kahaluu vacation homes and mosey along to the beach when you're ready. Another option is to wake up early and take part in one of the many ocean tours offered up and down the coast of Kona. Ocean Safaris Kayak Adventures launches daily kayaking tours from Keauhou Bay and takes participants south to Kuamoo Bay, stopping to explore a breathtaking sea cave when conditions permit. Whether you're a beach, ocean, or animal lover, you'll fall in love with the Kona Coast.
