"The house is located up on the hills above Kona, so the views are to die for. But don't be fooled... you could throw a rock and hit three of your neighbors, so it's not secluded. It just feels that way due to the jungle preventing you from seeing most of the neighboring houses. Being higher on the mountain, the nights cool down and it's perfect sleeping temperature. During the day it gets a little warm, but nothing like down by the coast. There are no blinds on the very large glass doors to the back of this house for the bedroom and bathroom, so be prepared to 'bare it all' to whomever might show up unexpectedly (like the landscaper or the pool guy). Also be prepared to hear the extremely loud wild roosters all night long; they have no concept of when the sun comes up. My only complaint really was all the ants and lizards (they crawl on the ceiling and drop poop bombs randomly about the house), but maybe that's normal when you live in humid climate with so much foliage. We went to the store and got those sugar ant traps, and by the end of the stay we were no longer sleeping with the ants anymore, but the first night or so we got bit all night long. Bring some sealable containers or ziplock bags to keep them out of any food you would typically not store in the fridge."

"Condo was great. Excellent location, view, and couldn't have asked for more. Had all the amenities that we needed. The saltwater pool was a plus especially overlooking the beach. Waking up to the waves crashing in the short distance was perfect. It was a quieter resort with either 55+ or families with under 12's. Will definitely be booking this one next year when we go back."

"This was our second stay at this condo, each time staying approximately a month. The condo is newly decorated and very clean. The kitchen is well equipped. We loved watching the surfers and the close proximity to the beaches. Lots of tide pools and turtles with a small sandy beach for little ones. The owner is very attentive and close by if a problem ever arises. There is a nice pool and great staff to help with adventure seeking and directions. We would definitely recommend this condo for anyone traveling to Kona."
