"We spent 1 totally delightful week in this location. The condo was just wonderful! The location was great as we simply walked each morning to a different place for breakfast with gorgeous views! The condo was ALWAYS cool plus very nice Hawaiian decor. The island is laid-back, but lots to see and do: as in snorkel trip, para-sail, Luau, tour the oldest church in US, see the Palace across the street from the church, drive to the Volcano and have lunch overlooking the crater, drive North to the end of the highway, return and come back down through beautiful cattle ranches including the famous Parker Ranch. Golf galore, but expensive. Shopping centers nearby. Lunch at the Harbor...great beers and lunches! Did we love it...5 stars! Plus the owner couldn't have been nicer."

  • Highly recommend-but be sure to follow up on your deposit

"The location is ideal, very close to downtown, easy access to everything. The Keiki beach is fun to walk to on the small wall in front of all the houses. There is a cool blowhole/lava bridge just to the left of the house. We saw numerous humpback whales from the patio. The upstairs master area is spacious and the bath has dual shower heads. The downstairs bedroom with the queen bed is also set up sort of like a mini-master suite with a door to close the area off from the rest of the house. The kitchen is well stocked with basic cooking equipment/utensils. The Target, Walmart and Safeway are all close if you need anything. We did a lot of cooking in the kitchen and everything was easy to use. The outdoor BBQ is also easy to use and works well. There was a bodyboard and beach chairs in the garage which we used, a few snorkeling bits and pieces as well, but you will probably want to bring your own. The Keiki beach is a great intro to snorkeling spot for kids. You can see a few colorful fish and we even saw a turtle swimming there a couple of times. My only minor gripe is to make sure you follow up on your deposit. My suspicion is that they don't send you a check to refund it unless you ask. They said it was an oversight, but just be sure to follow that up. This place is a great value. I would stay here again!"

  • Perfect

"This condo is a perfect home base for exploring the big island. Everything you need and more is available. Comfy king size bed and great AC. The pool and grounds are beautiful and well kept. The manager is very easy to reach and went above and beyond to ensure we had a great stay. Can't wait to return."

The owners have beautiful art and the studio is decorated to get you into the island living by the ocean! Friday morning sunrise I saw a rainbow over the ocean I will never forget! Winners stay here!!!"
