"What a nice surprise I got when I woke up, first thing Saturday morning! From my bed I could see the sky, hear the birds, watch the palm trees and a papaya tree (with fruit) right outside the sliding glass door and lanai. Loved it!! My boyfriend and I enjoyed 3 days before the rest of the fambam arrived. We went to End of the World where there is cliff diving, Kahaluu Beach, Puako Beach (didn't make it White Sands Beach which is only 7 minutes away because we ran out of time) and City of Refuge, a boat cruise, drove to Hilo to the water falls, saw the Volcano and(3 adults and one 5 year old) We sure enjoyed the comforts of home here. It had everything we needed. Even snorkel gear and boogie boards. We slept like a baby and the AC kept us nice and cool. Spent a few mornings, sipping coffee, on the grass lawn near the bbq/pool area BEAUTIFUL VIEW and the books of the Big Island for reference sure came in handy when looking for places to venture. Barbara checked on us and offered us ideas of places to discover like KUA BAY. Gorgeous beach. The price on this condo also helps when your feeding 6. I will definitely be back. MAHALO BARBARA :)"

"We loved the condo. It was everything the pictures showed and reviews said. It was stocked with everything you could have possibly needed (for the most part). The kitchen was beautiful and we cooked mostly in the mornings for breakfast and sometimes later in the day coming back from trips around the island. The view was awesome and we slept with the screen doors open to the lanai to keep air moving. (The only downfall was waking up to the outside sprinklers going off at 5 a.m.) The unit is not air-conditioned but there are several ceiling fans and there was a floor fan and a counter top fan that we had to use in the bathroom area since it was hotter in there and there wasn't a vent fan. We used the washer and dryer several times which was great! Holly was wonderful to work with and had some great suggestions on where to go and where to eat. The only thing I would suggest to make it better is maybe better lighting in the bathroom since I had to have on at least 3 of the 4 lights in there to see to get ready, a door stop to keep the bathroom door open when getting ready, and another floor fan. It was very warm and humid when we were there so that probably didn't help.
We highly recommend a couple's massage at Body Rhythms. The restaurants we really liked were Kona Brewery, Humpy's, Ray's on the Bay at the Sheraton, and the Beachtree at the Four Seasons Resort in the Kailua-Kona area and Kohala Coffee Mill for sandwiches and Tropical Dreams ice cream in Hawi on the north shore. For things to do, we suggest the Fairwinds-Hula Kai morning snorkeling cruise and the night Manta Snorkel. Captain Kirk and his staff were great. Also, The Original Chocolate Factory, and the Greenwell Coffee Plantation were great. We also did a couple hikes at Pololu Valley Lookout on the north shore and the hike at Kilauea Iki volcano in the Volcanoes National Park on the southeast side.
The beach in front of the condo was not really a beach to lay out by but you did have to drive to most of the sandy beaches. There was a nice beach south of the condo about a mile and we enjoyed a morning there. I suggest going early to get a spot. All of the Hawaiians we met were very friendly and helpful and had that great hospitality.
We had an amazing vacation on the Big Island of Hawaii! We need to come back again to see all that we missed! Thanks so much, Holly, for a wonderful place and for the bottle of champagne for our 35th wedding anniversary!"

"Absolutely stunning !! This place is truly a gem, you will love it at first sight. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at Plumeria House. The unit is clean and well-maintained. The tropical landscaping and the peace and quiet of the neighborhood was wonderful. The owners are very pleasant and helpful. They have thought of everything to make their guests comfortable. Highly recommended."

"We loved this condo. It had every amenity and was thoughtfully remodeled and maintained. It was our second stay in this unit. It has a fantastic location in the resort. It is on the same level as the elevator (on the third floor, and I was always able to park within just a few feet of the elevator below. The whole complex has a great family feel and most people staying in the resort gather at sunset (which is almost always fantastic) and cook their dinner on the BBQs provided. This unit and resort are the best values in Kona. I had recommended this unit before to honeymooners and they loved it!"
