"This is a small studio, decorated perfectly. It has everything you would need, including an electric kettle for us Irish nationalist who need their tea in the morning and evening. Don't expect a full kitchen here though, it has a small fridge that fits under the counter, a microwave, and an electric plugin hot plate that isn't high powered enough to really cook, coupled with a lack of counter space, the kitchen area is really for breakfast cereal, pastries, cold sandwich stuff, maybe fry an egg. However the location is perfect, all restruants in downtown Kona are no farther then a 1 min walk outside the back gate. Yes the parking situation sucks, but again after our days activities like beach, scuba, volcano, we just parked the car for the evening and walked downtown, so the lack of parking was never an issue for us. Cool Place!!!"

"We spent a week at Sandra and Ken's home 1200 ft above Kona. Due to the elevation the temperature is more comfortable than it is at the beach. The grounds are absolutely amazing with Mango, Avocado and Figtrees. Our skin started turning yellow from all the Mango we ate. Enjoying our morning coffee with the view of Kona and the ocean was very refreshing. We always looked forward to our return after busy days sightseeing or snorkeling. The restaurants and shopping in Kona are a short drive away. The outdoor kitchen is well equipped. The only time we spent indoors was for sleeping. Absolutely loved it and hope to return."

"This was our second visit to this condo unit. That should say that we would highly recommend it. The lanai is so close to the ocean. We would have breakfast on the lanai watching the Honu (turtles) in the water below, the Spinner Dolphins, usually hanging out with the surfers and boogie boarders, and sometimes the hardy swimmers that were swimming the Ironman route.
We did not miss a day walking into town to have a drink, dinner, or hit the Farmers Market for fresh produce. The location of the condo is so perfect. We look forward to our next visit to the "Big Island.""

"Gene and Charlie never hesitate to maintain the condos in style and excellent condition that I appreciate. In my three stays I have never been disappointed. Seeing and hearing the ocean adds to the complete retreat and relaxed atmosphere of Kona. At times the spinner dolphins put on a wonderful display. The sight of whales migrating along the coast and the beautiful sunsets are breathtaking. I am looking forward to another stay in November 2015."
