  • Perfect Location & Perfectly Well Equipped and Clean Condo

"My mother and I stayed at this property for Christmas 2014 for 2 weeks. The location is ideal as you can very easily walk into town to do some shopping, try one of the many fabulous restaurants, hit the local market etc. Being along the main street in Kona allows you to go for some great runs as well. The condo itself is spotless and very well equipped. The building itself is very quiet and exceptionally well maintained. The lanai is huge and has separate areas for relaxing and dining which we appreciated. The new beds and AC units were a definite perk. We are grateful the owners shared this unit with us! Most definitely would recommend this unit and will rebook shortly!"

  • A Million Dollar View!

"My family and I were lucky enough to book room #3114. Beautifully furnished, a stunning view, and we never had a problem finding a parking space. We were able to sip coffee on our lanai in the morning while watching Dolphins spin, splash and play right in front of us! We were even able to snorkel right in front of the condo! Close enough to walk into town for a meal or just to shop. I would deffently book here again! Mahalo for the chance to stay in your lovely home"

  • Great unit for the price

"Stayed here for the month of February and was very pleased with the unit. I even booked it again for a couple weeks in 2016. I stayed at more expensive units in Kona before but decided to try this unit for the price and the location. The complex only has about ten units in them and some are than others. This unit just had a upgrade so it was very nice inside. The living rooom is kind of a mess as if you want to watch tv you have to watch it at an angle from the couch but never watched tv much so didn't matter. The kitchen had everything you need but been part of the living room got a little crowded for two. Bedroom was a nice size for a one bedroom and had a comfortable mattress. Bathroom was also a good size with large shower. The unit has an electric grill since there is only a charcoal barbeque outside. The electric grill worked great as we cooked burgers, steaks, meatloaf and chicken wings on it and they all came out great at a medium high setting. It says an indoor grill but we only used it outside. Also there were plenty of towels for us to use. Now for a few negatives. There is no pool and the beach across the road was a little on the rough side but the snorkel beach is only a three minute drive away. Like I said earlier the tv viewing is a little mixed up to to square footage limitations. You can get a few bugs in the suite but that happens in all suites in Hawaii unless your in a high rise. Magic Sand beach had washed away due to high surf and was a little on the rough side. When I first drove up to the unit it looks a little run down but its great inside . The view from the lanai is fantastic and we watched the whales every day and every other day we saw spinner dolphins. Stayed at the Sea Village before and the view here was better and it was about $80 cheaper a night. Kathie West was great to deal with fro Go West Travel and the maintenance man was easy to get hold of if you had any problems. Remember you get what you pay for and if you want a bigger and better unit with a pool it will cost you more but this unit is great. I really enjoyed it at the Kona White Sands and that is why I booked it again. I have been to Hawaii about 30 times and stayed in many different places in Kona but for the price and quality of the unit this place gets a high rating."

  • Holiday in paradise

"Our family of 5 spent the last 3 Christmases at this wonderful house. Its location is unsurpassed, from access to restaurants to the grocery store only 1 mile away. The beach is an easy walk. Sitting on the deck having breakfast watching spinner dolphins, a couple humpback wales breaching and a monk seal that took a nap on the rocks below is the only way to start a morning. After your days activities then to watch the sunset into the ocean while sitting on the deck is a perfect end to a day. Even when the beach was closed due to high surf we were still right on the ocean with the advantage of a refrigerator just steps away. Visit, you will be glad you did."
