The property manager was very helpful.
The vacation rental was spotless.
I was very happy with the location.
I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental.
Overall, I recommend this vacation rental.
We loved our stay at the O'Oma Plantation, our second stay there, once in 2012 for our 50th Anniversary, and June of 2015. We didn't even look for other accommodations when we planned this trip with 13 others because of the wonderful time we had in 2012. Everyone loved the home, and all the amenities such as the beautiful pool, hot tub, lanai, landscaping, kitchen, bedrooms, bathrooms, laundry facilities, grounds and cleanliness, etc."

"We were a family of 12, ages 5-67. This was a wonderful base to start out each day and end each night. We were very happy with the rooms, the location, the views, and of course the owner who was very helpful. There is enough space so if you wanted you could spread out and enjoy some quiet time, but you could also all hang out together..especially on the wonderful lanai. Everything in Kona is close, 20 min to Costco, Safeway, Walmart and of course some nice snorkelling spots. The following isn't complaints, just things you should be aware of; the pools are not heated, but the kiddie pool was warmer so thats where the kids spent most of their time. This may be different in the summer time. The roosters referred to in other reviews are noisy and they start in the middle of the night marking their territory by crowing. Bring ear plugs or just wait a couple nights and you will get used to it,mostly. There are ample kitchen supplies and condiments and the owner has extras that get left behind, like our sriracha sauce. I'd also recommend Google street view the drive from the airport as it is fun and twisty, respect the speed limits. It cools down nicely at night so no a/c is not a problem. We had a wonderful vacation in part because of this wonderful property and owner, and her cute "little" dog. Aloha and mahalo."

"We spent 4 glorious weeks at this home and enjoyed it immensely. The sheer numbers of dolphin and whale sightings from the front porch was mind blowing. The owner was very accommodating as was his housekeeper.
The surf was high most days, so the waves were crashing a lot of the time so some might find it noisy. This also made it difficult to enter the water at the house. The yard is rough and difficult to walk in for anyone with mobility issues. But it is a great location for a great holiday. Easy access to public transportation in case your rental is not available!!
Not a good choice for people with disabilities but otherwise a great choice. Aloha."

"We are just wrapping up a two week stay at the Palm Bungalow and we would highly recommend it. The owners are lovely but not intrusive and the bungalow feels very private. The surrounding neighborhood feels like a resort and it's very quiet. We enjoyed exploring the island but also really enjoyed just hanging out on the lani.
We cooked many of our meals on the grill and the small fridge holds about two days worth of groceries. Fruit is plentiful and ripens fast so you don't want to buy too much at one time. There is a large cooler outside for storing food and drinks too.
