  • Baywatch is a private oasis!

"Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This property is private and has amazing waterfront views. Every morning I have my coffee on the back porch overlooking the ocean, and in the evenings, we would watch the sun set from the same spot. It is truly beautiful and so very relaxing. I think what makes this property so unique (besides the amazing views) is that there is enough room for everyone to have a private space (all 4 bedrooms have a private bath) and yet the main house is so open, that it is so easy for everyone to be together as well. I have stayed at this property 3 times, and I am ready to stay again. If you have small children, it is important to know that the bedrooms are almost like private bungalows. There are sliding doors and doors to the front entry of the house off each of the main floor bedrooms, and so I don't know if this would be the best property for families with small children. It is perfect for couples and for families with slightly older children. We simply love the Bay Watch house, and Boundless Hawaii was fantastic to work with. If you are going to Kona, take a look at this property!"

  • Great find in the hills on the north side of Kailua-Kona

"The location was great, really nice for getting a feel for the local community. Also an excellent choice if you're budget-conscious. Not only are you effectively getting 3 bedrooms for the price of two, but being on the north side of Kailua is great for affordable shopping at Target (most food) and Coscto ($4.99 roast chicken and cheap gas), as well as lots of free beach access. The place has plenty of lovely outdoor areas: we spent mornings by the koi pond watching the birds, fish, and geckos, and evenings on the lanai watching the sunsets and the local fauna passing thru. It has a spacious feel and seems to have been designed with a lot of consideration for natural light and air flow, and the decor is homey without feeling cluttered. The facilities include wi-fi, board games, and guide books, along with water sports equipment downstairs. Very nice master suite, and a roomy downstairs area suitable for a group of four. Superior kitchen and dining facilities. The owner is personable and responsive, and there is even a very nice neighbor who delivers her own locally made desserts. Does it get better?"

  • Beautiful home with an okay view

"The house is beautiful and very clean. It is so much nicer than the pictures show. The only bad thing is that there is quiet time from 8 pm-8 am. Just sitting on the lanai having our coffee at 6:30 am our first morning got us a note on the front door about neighbor complaints! We are in our mid 50's and are not loud people. Imagine being in Hawaii and feeling like you have to be confined to the inside of the house during those quiet hours, or be very careful to be at a near whisper. There is no way children or teenagers would do well at this home, no matter how well behaved they are. Otherwise, the house was great. If quiet is very important to you, then this is the house for you."

  • Just what we hoped for!

"Your house was perfect for active people to relax in. We were up before sunrise, enjoyed some coffee and either walked down to the beach for a sunrise dip, or did a jog along Alii Dr. (both ways), returning for breakfast while watching for whales. Either relaxing all day or being active, it was the perfect place to "come home to". Very clean, comfortable, well stocked with water toys, etc."
