  • Truly Wonderful

"I spent my childhood in Kona. our family could not have experienced a better home on the island. The home speaks for itself, the pleasant surprise was in how fabulous the home manager was. From preparations for our visit throughout the entire stay she was extremely helpful and responsive. Truly exceeded our expectations!"

  • Incredible view

"Our family of 4, including 2 teenagers, thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The view from the lanai was just like the on-line pictures showed and the king bed on the lanai was very comfortable. We ate breakfast on the lanai every morning, watching the surfers and seeing whales a few times, and often came back "home" for lunch because our view was better than the restaurant view! The house was perfect for us, but some people may find it a bit "cabin-y" with no windows (only screens) in some rooms and an outdated kitchen. We found it quaint and thought it added to a true casual Hawaiian feel. The house was well-equipped with snorkel gear, boogie boards and various sizes of swim shoes. The host was so welcoming and was very helpful when we had questions about where-to go/what-to-do. There is road noise since the house is on a main street, but it was well worth it for the view and that beautiful lanai. Restaurants, grocery, and sand beaches are a short 10 minute car ride, so you are centrally located for activities and dining."

  • Perfect location and hosts for the Big Island

"Mahalo to Glenn being the perfect host. From the initial inquiry, to booking and the actual stay, it was just perfect and hassle free. We were a group of friends who visited Kona for an outrigger race. The house with the split apartments provided ample room but also enough gathering space for all. Fridge was stocked with some basics water and food so we didn't have to scramble the day we got there. Kitchen stocked with spices and condiments so we didn't have to purchase any additional. The rooms were large enough for the long stay. Access to the ocean down the little private road was a added bonus for us, we loved the view especially at Sunset! The only caveat was that it was very humid and hot the week we stayed. Not having A/C in certain rooms were unbearable at times."

  • View to die for !

"Our family spent 2 glorious weeks at Keauhou Hideaway over the Holiday period. The view from the front lanai and decks is gorgeous ... unspoiled vistas of the Ocean as far as the eye can see. Property is well kept, nicely laid out (particularly with the 3 bedrooms separated ), quiet as we only heard 1 truck go by on our last day, and a yard that is a quiet oasis for all to enjoy. Great attention has been spent with the various types of fruit trees planted here (lime, orange, fig, grapefruit, etc). Ask Nancy the skilled gardener for a guided tour of the property. Pool and hot tub were a hit with the family. All meals were spent on the covered lanai while we enjoyed the views, both during the day and late afternoon sunsets. We wold love to return soon. Appreciate the time we had in paradise."
