  • Great EVERYTHING....We will be back for sure!!

"This is the 5 year we've rented a home on Kona for Spring Break, and this home was by far the best we've rented. Everything is in good shape...pool is warm...view is fantastic from the entire home! Just wish there was a time machine on site, so we could stay longer. Had an issue with the coffee maker on the first day...sent email to owner and she replied within a few hours and allowed me to buy a brand new questions asked."

"Rating Details: I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. I was very happy with the location. The vacation rental was spotless. The property manager was very helpful. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This is a great house in a great location and it is very pricey. For the price we expected perfection and unfortunately this was not the case. There are a number of maintenance items that had obviously been ignored for some period of time prior to our arrival. These were: Garage door does not function properly, ice maker jammed, dispose-all does not work, dish washer leaks badly, cold water faucet in one bathroom not functional, we did not have access to the central vac system however the pipes in the garage were damaged, several lights in the house burned out, the sliding doors were difficult to lock, and several other minor issues. The owners/managers need to attend to these."

  • Perfect!

"My family stayed at this property for five days and it EXCEEDED all expectations. Loved the outdoor kitchen and the view above Kona...spectacular sunsets. Be sure to plan on enjoying fresh fruit guests can harvest from the expansive garden -- the pineapples are to die for! Location is more than ideal for easy access to shopping, resorts, restaurants and entertainment. Our group of six people were accommodated very comfortably. The owner is one of the most pleasant people you'll meet and is more than helpful with recommendations for fishing charters, culture, and easy routes to the popular spots."

"Little Peice of Heaven......That it is.....Wow, where do I begin? My husband, myself and our 2 young children ages 7 & 9 had the most wonderful family vacation in this amazing home. Our first night we were greeted by the homeowner. He arrived with beautiful native flowers that he had just cut from the property. He was very kind and gracious and happy to meet us! He then got a coconut that had fallen from one of the coconut trees on the property. We gathered the children so they could see him slice it in half, he also made the kids straws from some sort of grass. they then got to have the fresh coconut meat and drink the juice all while sitting in front of the beautiful sea! speaking of sea, did I mention the sea turtles that become like your family?! they are pretty amazing creatures that are quite used to humans living along side them...Incredible!! We love this home and have so many amazing memories and can't wait to return! The home itself was very clean and equipped with everything you could possibly need. We enjoyed the views every evening while enjoying mai tai's that we prepared in the very luxurious kitchen. granite counter tops, large working island, stainless steel appliances...the home was very well thought out and lends itself perfectly for an active hawaiian lifestyle..everything is tasteful and easy to clean. You wake to a cup of Kona coffee, surfers out in the surf, turtles swimming and the most amazing views! Grab a book and jump in the hammock for a realaxing morning followed by a wonderful day of sight seeing followed by an incredible evening! So glad we chose this home :) THANK YOU!!! Also, we received our deposit back within 2 weeks of departure, that was very nice! This home is the total Hawaiian experience! Mahalo from a very happy family!!"

Private Homes Travel Tips

Find Your Beachfront Paradise at Kailua-Kona Vacation Rentals

Kailua-Kona vacation rentals provide access to one of the few white sand beaches on the Kona Coast. Located on the Big Island, many of the beaches feature black sand created when hot lava flows into the cool Pacific ocean. If you like to surf or kayak, you can find local vendors renting equipment right on the beach. Dolphins and sea turtles swim in the surrounding waters. Grab you wet suit or your bathing suit and hit the waves for a day of fun before heading back to your vacation rental for a quiet evening.

Kailua-Kona Resort Rentals Provide Affordable Luxury

From condos to luxury estates, you can find the perfect vacation property along the coast. With Kailua-Kona resort rentals, you get the amenities you enjoy at home and the advantage of onsite perks. Depending on the property, these can include a private pool with chaise lounges for sunbathing or a gated community. Inside your rental, you'll find everything you need to relax, from a fully furnished living room to multiple bedrooms. Step outside and enjoy grounds surrounded by lush vegetation and exotic flowers.

Relax at Kona Coast Beach Homes

You'll find plenty of things to do in Hawaii, like taking a manta ray boat tour or exploring lava tunnels. In between adventures, your home-away-from-home lets you rest and unwind. In the mornings, enjoy a hot cup of Kona coffee as you wait for the sun to rise. The fully equipped kitchen makes it easy to prepare your favorite meals, and you can store local produce like fresh tropical fruit and organic veggies in the fridge. If you like fishing, consider a deep-sea expedition. When you get back to land, prepare the catch just the way you like it.
