What a Gem!
"What a fabulous home! Seven of us stayed comfortably in the house. 2 Grand Parents, 2 Parents, 1 uncle 21 years old, and 2 grand children, 8 and 14. The house was supplied with everything you would ever need during your stay. The pool area and pool are really the highlights of this home. The evening sunsets are so beautiful! Our entire family enjoyed the pool. Our grandson was in the pool first thing in the morning and last thing before bed. We enjoyed a tour of the fruit grove and the fresh fruit daily. One of the highlights was the fireworks display we were treated to from pool side New years eve. i really can't say enough about our experience at this residence. I would highly recommend it!"

"Location, location, location is probably what summarize Hale Honu best! This was our first experience on this Island and from what we were able to see, Hale Honu was probably one of the best location available on the Big Island. It offered proximity to downtown (3 1/2 miles) where most of the shops are located and only a short distance away from major grocery store and shopping center.
There was 5 of us in our party and we had rented the whole house. The fenced property allow for all the privacy and the noise from Alii Drive was never an issue. Since we had both floor of the house, we had more than enough space and the property offered all the amenities one can ask for. The sound of the surf crashing on the lava at the front of the property and the view was all the entertainment we needed and it was so relaxing that we never even use the television.
The view from the upper lanai was just spectacular with whales, dolphins and turtles being center stage every day. We spent hours every morning and every evenings just looking out for them and we were never disappointed. We saw hundreds of whales and dolphins that provided us with front row seat to unbelievable shows; from just swimming along the coast, to breaching, tale slapping, jumping and spinning. Wow, it was like watching Discovery Channel live....
Unfortunately, the surf was very high during our stay which limited the amount of snorkeling we were able to do but this was the call of mother nature and it had nothing to do with Hale Honu.
I don't know yet when we will be returning to the Big Island but Hale Honu will certainly be at the top of our list as a place to stay.

The property manager was very helpful.
The vacation rental was very clean.
I was very happy with the location.
I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental.
Overall, I recommend this vacation rental.
This property is private and has amazing waterfront views. Every morning I have my coffee on the back porch overlooking the ocean, and in the evenings, we would watch the sun set from the same spot. It is truly beautiful and so very relaxing. I think what makes this property so unique (besides the amazing views) is that there is enough room for everyone to have a private space (all 4 bedrooms have a private bath) and yet the main house is so open, that it is so easy for everyone to be together as well. I have stayed at this property 3 times, and I am ready to stay again. If you have small children, it is important to know that the bedrooms are almost like private bungalows. There are sliding doors and doors to the front entry of the house off each of the main floor bedrooms, and so I don't know if this would be the best property for families with small children. It is perfect for couples and for families with slightly older children. We simply love the Bay Watch house, and Boundless Hawaii was fantastic to work with. If you are going to Kona, take a look at this property!"

"This house goes beyond expectations. The pictures do not do it justice. It's so homey...family friendly. This was a long-time coming family vacation. There were ten of us andthe Nohealani house was ababsolutely perfect! My mother who has a very hard time getting in and out of a tub, and two of the rooms had walk-in showers. The pool! Oh my goodness! How fun and perfect! The kitchen is FULLY stocked with rice cooker, blenders and crockpots just to name a few. We will most definitely be back!! Oh and I forgot the view....breathtaking! One note...bugs are a part of the Hawaiian charm (and they were not at all bad)....and geckos rock! Keep a clean kitchen and you won't have a problem. And lastly Tina...what a gem of Kona! She was always accessible and quick to react to any minor issue we had. She provided boogie boards...grass mats and more!"
