Fantastic place to stay
"This is the 5th time we have stayed here and we can't stop coming back - the house contains everything that we could want, is well maintained and is in a great location if you want to sit back and chill and not too far out of town if you want an evening out.
We stayed here for 10 nights in October - it was a holiday with a spell of volunteering at the Kona Ironman and staying here let us not have to worry about getting up late after a long day at the Ironman to let the cleaners in!!
We made full use of all the beach gear and, knowing there was a washer and dryer, this lets us pack light so that we had room in the cases to take the great Kona coffee home.
We will be back without a doubt - thanks Charlotte."

"We stayed in the blue house. Great location, great views of the ocean, and overall great property! The house was plenty cool just with windows open and fan on. Pool and lanai made outdoor eating and recreation easy to attain. Tony gave us a tour of the orchard so we knew what we were picking and how to know if it was ripe or not. The house was outfitted with just about everything/anything you'd need--boogie boards, snorkel gear, beach stuff, towels. Every appliance you could need and even a shelf with puzzles and books. It was a wonderful place to stay and being a private home made it even more amenable than a condo. We would definitely stay here again!"

"Our vacation to Kona was one of the best ever in part to our stay at Nohealani. The house is located at the perfect elevation and location-a quiet neighborhood, beautiful 180 ocean and sunset views every night. Designed like a hotel where all the bedrooms open to the pool lanai and view, we could have our own privacy, and come together in the large kitchen and living room. The house was very clean and shows recent upgrades everywhere. The hot tub is another great feature and sits in a secluded back yard. The owner thought of everything to make our vacation worry free! This was definitely a five star house for our family on a budget. Thanks Tina!"

The property manager was more than helpful.
The vacation rental was clean.
I was more than happy with the location.
I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental.
Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental.
Our overall experience at O'oma was good. The house is as described, seven bedrooms, private pool & spa, with spectacular ocean views. It was a nice place to relax and spend time with family and friends. We enjoyed the space and the quiet location provided. The management company was very helpful from the beginning of our booking and throughout the majority of out stay. There were some communication misses with one of the agents that led me to asking to speak to the person in charge. It took an entire business day to get resolution of the problems we encountered. Although beautiful, the house is in need of a few things to make the cost of it worth staying at. The kitchen does not have many items that you would need for a large group such as large bowls, plates, cooking utensils (spoons/spatula/tongs/measuring cups), plates/bowls. The BBQ is broken and filfthy and needs to be replaced. We spent an hour cleaning the grills and the top of it is being held together with a screwdriver. The theater room is not as described. The surround sound, cable network, and DVD player do not work. A maintenance man came twice to fix them but there was not any resolution. It was a good thing we brought our AppleTV so we were able to watch tv/movies. The cleanliness of the kitchen did not meet our standards. Deep cleaning around the kitchen has not been completed in a number of months. The vents over the stove were covered in multiple layers of flies (pictures were sent to the) and the sink was leaking causing a moldy smell near the sink. If we were to come back with a large group again, I would consider staying at O'oma with reservations butI would explore other homes. Christina with Boundless Hawaii was great to work with."
