  • Stunning views and beautiful koa wood paneling

"We stayed for a week in mid Feb and had a lovely time. The suite is on the main floor, close to the common area so people do walk back/forth in front of the suite from time to time (though a plus is that the lobby's wifi worked for us from the patio area!). The views are indeed stunning - the first morning we saw spinner dolphins and whales swim by and the binoculars in the suite came in very handy. The suite was better equipped than we could have expected and was nicely decorated. Like another reviewer mentioned, we were somewhat ill at ease fully paying for the suite so far in advance. Paypal can be used but you are also charged the associated service fee, fair enough I suppose. However, it all worked out and we would happily recommend this VRBO rental to our friends."

  • Fabulous location

"Rating Details: I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. I was very happy with the location. The vacation rental was spotless. The property manager was very helpful. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: A wonderful condo overlooking the shore. A great balcony to hear the surf and watch the waves. Easy walking distance to many great places of Kona. A beautiful, comfortable and well managed location. We really enjoyed our time here."

  • Just perfect!

"We felt the kind hospitality of the owners even before we arrived: We had a crib arranged for our 1-year old son and did not need to worry about bringing our own. The location is excellent for snorkeling and body boarding beaches nearby. The shopping center is so close also, even offering movies and weekend farmers market. We enjoyed listening to the endless sound of ocean waves and an amazing view during our patio meal times. The condo had everything we needed, clean and was very comfortable. There are pool and tennis courts to use if we ever wanted. The archeological site in the complex makes it such a special place. A big Mahalo to Bill and Nancy. We'd love to come back if we ever get to!"

  • Vintage Hawaii

"We loved this comfortable classic Hawaiian style home with an unbeatable oceanfront location. The very large lot affords exceptional privacy. The only negative feature is that the 2 bedrooms downstairs can be accessed only by an outside staircase and they do have a bit of a "basement" feel although they are both attractive and well appointed. The house is incredibly well stocked with beach equipment and the kitchen is fully equipped for serious cooking. Very comfortable and very "homey" place to enjoy Kona."
