"Our group was five couples on the Big Island. We arrived to find everything in great condition and very pleased to find that the property exceeded our expectations. The house was perfectly suited for our group with plenty of room and many special places to find solitude if you wanted to get away from the crowd. The beach was literally only 3 minutes walk. The kitchen and lanai were especially well suited for our large group. The kitchen was well equipped and stocked for preparing our own meals which we did often. The lanai was the center of activity. Our only suggestion would be new carpet in the bedrooms and A/C in those bedrooms without it. We had a wonderful time and would love to return on future visits. The owners were very pleasant to work with and responded immediately to any inquiry. This was a really nice house with a great location and super price. Thanks for making our vacation stay at your property special."

Great find in the hills on the north side of Kailua-Kona
"The location was great, really nice for getting a feel for the local community. Also an excellent choice if you're budget-conscious. Not only are you effectively getting 3 bedrooms for the price of two, but being on the north side of Kailua is great for affordable shopping at Target (most food) and Coscto ($4.99 roast chicken and cheap gas), as well as lots of free beach access. The place has plenty of lovely outdoor areas: we spent mornings by the koi pond watching the birds, fish, and geckos, and evenings on the lanai watching the sunsets and the local fauna passing thru. It has a spacious feel and seems to have been designed with a lot of consideration for natural light and air flow, and the decor is homey without feeling cluttered. The facilities include wi-fi, board games, and guide books, along with water sports equipment downstairs. Very nice master suite, and a roomy downstairs area suitable for a group of four. Superior kitchen and dining facilities. The owner is personable and responsive, and there is even a very nice neighbor who delivers her own locally made desserts. Does it get better?"

"The location was perfect for our visit to the Big Island. This condo was a great place to come home to at the end of each busy day of adventure. Convenient for our day trip to Volcano National Park, great snorkelling at Kahalu'u Beach Park just down the road and a snorkel day trip from Keahou to Kealakekua Bay. Close to Kona for shopping and easy travel to visit many of the area's historic sites. The two bedroom, two bath set up worked well for two adult couples and it was nice to have the use of the BBQs and swimming pool as well. The only thing we would suggest is better room-darkening blinds or curtains in the bedrooms. We had a great stay! Thanks."

"Condo was great. Excellent location, view, and couldn't have asked for more. Had all the amenities that we needed. The saltwater pool was a plus especially overlooking the beach. Waking up to the waves crashing in the short distance was perfect. It was a quieter resort with either 55+ or families with under 12's. Will definitely be booking this one next year when we go back."
