"We were there during the Ironman week. The unit is very well equipped with snorkel, boogie boards, beach chairs and beach towels. Very clean small studio. The murphy bed squeaks a little and the pillows during my stay were not the best. However through my communication with the owners the pillows were in the plan for an upgrade so I am sure anyone who will visit this studio after me, will enjoy better sleep on way better pillows.
The unit has an amazing ocean view and the bed is just next to the shore where the waves break. It can be quite noisy. However, we simply closed the windows and turn the AC on with works is magic. Yes, this unit has AC and it works very well at night. The AC is not loud and puts the unit into the proper temperature. Magic sands beach is just next to the condo, however the Kona village is 3 miles walk which we didn't mind and it was good to have a bit of exercise. During the Ironman run we set ourselves on the street using the beach chairs from the condo, we got beer, wine and we were cheering to the runners. I would definitely stay here again.
Thank you Denise"

"My husband and I stayed at this beautiful, clean and very well equipped home in March of 2015. We were there to
celebrate our 46th Anniversary. We had an amazing time in Kona (our first time there). The home was more than
homey and comfortable, the king size bed was so comfy, being able to smoke on the lanai made it easier than
having to leave the property. We did spend most to our time on the lanai, enjoying the birds and the garden.
Ask Barb for a tour of her garden, she has some unusual and beautiful plants.
We did have a problem finding the place the night we arrived, it is so dark in Hawaii at night and the street
signs need some updating, so use google map, or a GPS if you arrive at night, and are old like us. Ask Bruce for
information on Captain Cook Trading for excellent discounts on MAC nuts and KONA coffee. We would love to
go again next year, or sooner."
