"Paul's pool house was perfect for our extended family! We had so much room for the adults and my kids loved the pool. We woke up early in the morning for a walk to the beach at sunrise, spent the day enjoying the island and returned in time to walk to the beach for the gorgeous sunset. My husband and I love Kona and hope to retire there someday, it was so nice to share our love of the island with my family who had never been to Hawaii before.
This home was the perfect place for us. So clean and well equipped, the location was perfect to hit all the great hidden spots, and Paul was amazing. Thank you! I hope to stay here again!"

Great location and really is best bang for your buck!
"Stayed a week here with my boyfriend and had a great stay! Super easy dealing with the Todd's, communication via email was quick and efficient. Check in and out super easy.
Great ocean view from the condo, and literally a one minute walk to White Sands Beach which we loved.
Best part we loved was all the gear that we were able to use from the condo. We didn't bring any of our own snorkeling gear (too much space in the luggage) so we had access to all the masks and fins and boogie boards and pool noodles. This was definitely a plus over the other vbro condos we were looking at and don't regret it! Would definitely stay here again if we came back to Big Island!
The only downside I can think off is there is no AC. Not a big deal but it can get very warm inside!"

"I am coming off of a 12 day, spontaneous (decided to come and booked two weeks before arrival) get away at this property and cannot say enough good about it. A gorgeous beach on one side and a beach park with grills and picnic tables on the other. Downtown Kona is about 3 miles away with shops, restaurants, farmers markets, bars, tourist agencies, etc! However, I rarely went downtown, (only once to get a coffee at Lava Java (which was yummy)), and cooked at the condo a lot. There was literally everything you could possibly need to cook a meal (including some basic spices!). I was a little skeptical of the Murphy bed and lack of air conditioning but the nights ended up being extremely comfortable with a box fan! The days got a little stuffy, but you aren't there most of the time and a quick jump in the clean, convenient pool 50 feet away does the trick! It was very clean when I arrived and everything was as advertised. Not to mention the view is unrivaled. Veronica was absolutely fantastic and a huge help accommodating a later check out time for a later flight. I have already suggested this condo to all of my friends, and recommend you try it, too! You'll fall in love. I attached a picture of the view that I woke up to from the bed every morning (the photo doesn't do it justice, either!)."

"We have stayed in many VRBO condos, and I have to say that this VIEW, hands down, was the BEST EVER! It was just the two of us and made for the perfect sunset dinners right out the window. Great pool to enjoy, and the ocean right out your front window! We are very particular about even the littlest of things. We had the bright white fluffy towels to the clean fresh lines on the bed. The nicely done kitchen set up, with dishes, glasses, utensils that all went together and has everything you will need to enjoy your picture perfect sunset dinners from your unit. The extra large bathroom all so tastefully decorated along with the rest the of the condo. Yes, it is an older complex, but when you can see that the owner has pride in their unit, it doesn't matter. The grounds, even though small, were immaculate. If we are ever on the Big Island again, I would certainly be looking at Kona Magic Sands #309 again! I would urge those that are looking at rentals, to be very careful when they are going through the filters on any rental. Sometimes, we assume that certain amenities are available when they aren't. Thank you Teresa for sharing your little slice of paradise!"
