"My family stayed in this condo for a week, and had a very nice time. The location is excellent, and allows for walking access to most Kona restaurants. The unit is very large and well furnished. There are two full bathrooms, and a redone kitchen. Two of the three bedrooms have large Japanese style sliding doors for privacy. This may seem odd at first, but worked quite well. The unit is air conditioned, which we needed during the hot Kona summer.
The unit has one parking spot.
The views out on to the water are excellent, as the unit is quite high up.
The building seems to have an issue with ants. While this was a bit off putting, we stored almost all food in the refrigerator, and washed dishes right after use. This seemed to alleviate most of the issue."

"We stayed in the blue house. Great location, great views of the ocean, and overall great property! The house was plenty cool just with windows open and fan on. Pool and lanai made outdoor eating and recreation easy to attain. Tony gave us a tour of the orchard so we knew what we were picking and how to know if it was ripe or not. The house was outfitted with just about everything/anything you'd need--boogie boards, snorkel gear, beach stuff, towels. Every appliance you could need and even a shelf with puzzles and books. It was a wonderful place to stay and being a private home made it even more amenable than a condo. We would definitely stay here again!"

"We came to Hawaii to go to the Kona Coffee Festival, and decided it would be nice to stay on an actual coffee farm. Found this one on VRBO and decided to give it a try. We were definitely not disappointed! The home was exactly as described....clean and inviting! It was close enough to go to Kona and surrounding areas for activities during the day, and then we would come back to the house for a quiet retreat. Loved the wild turkeys every day, but had to get used to the Coqui frogs at night...very loud, especially after it rains! It was also a hike from the garage to the house, or vice versa, but it had us in much better shape by the end of the week...hahaha.
We cooked at home a few times, and the kitchen was very well equipped for our needs. There were plenty of towels and linens available, and it was great to be able to do laundry at the house when needed.
We went to the Mauna Kea Tea Plantation, the Vanilla farm and the Original Hawaiian Chocolate Factory, as well as touring a few other coffee farms...very informative. Also made it to the beach, which was beautiful.
We stayed at the house for a week, and didn't want to leave!"
