  • Beautiful View!!!

"This condo is at a great location and had a fantastic view!!! I was very disappointed to get there and find out that there was no access to the ocean below though, as all of the gates were locked and double locked with a padlock!! I called the office and they said they would be taking the padlock off but then never did. We didn't see any dolphins til the 3rd day there and were starting to get discouraged! The beautiful views made up for it! I would not plan on having 6 people stay there unless part of the group are children because the hideabed is starting to come apart and was very uncomfortable for even 1 adult. We were having issues with one of the toilets not flushing as well. The remodel is great, but we wondered why the shower and bath tub were not upgraded as well. Also plan on lots of noise near the bedrooms as it is located right near the swimming pool of the adjacent property!! Morning and night there are always noisy people outside the windows and with no air conditioning you must have them open to cool things off. Overall we enjoyed our stay despite the issues, but want others to have some warning of them. It is expensive so they deserve to know."

  • Great location for the things we like to do

"Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We love this room. We have stayed in #136 four times. The location is great for everything you might want do do at the Casa. One thing I would do is and sand near the wall, that has nothing to do with the room. Only one thing the room needs is a new coffee pot. Other then that GREAT ROOM."

  • Holiday in paradise

"Our family of 5 spent the last 3 Christmases at this wonderful house. Its location is unsurpassed, from access to restaurants to the grocery store only 1 mile away. The beach is an easy walk. Sitting on the deck having breakfast watching spinner dolphins, a couple humpback wales breaching and a monk seal that took a nap on the rocks below is the only way to start a morning. After your days activities then to watch the sunset into the ocean while sitting on the deck is a perfect end to a day. Even when the beach was closed due to high surf we were still right on the ocean with the advantage of a refrigerator just steps away. Visit, you will be glad you did."

  • Kona on the sea

"The Condo was very nice and as pictured/described in the ad, except that air conditioning was never mentioned either way, and the Condo does not have it. Coming from Arizona, I just expected it to have air conditioning. The Condo was fairly warm when we arrived, but opening the windows and doors made it a nice temperature. With the windows and doors open, there was quite a bit of parking lot /road noise in the bedrooms overnight, as well as birds chirping in the morning. The beds were very comfortable though. The Condo was well stocked with beach supplies , cooking supplies, and bbq supplies, including basic condiments and coming ingredients. Within about a mile there are several restaurants, a small and beach, and a farmers market expand that to 2 miles, and you have the entire Kona downtown area. We walked this several times easily. Great views from the balcony. Bbq and pool area are very nice and not very busy. 3rd floor with no elevator, so heavy bags may be a slight issue. Parking was not assigned, but was always available right by the stairs. There was a cute coffee shop with sandwiches and Ice cream sharing the parking lot, but we never got a chance to try it All communication with Randall was easy and timely. We definitely enjoyed our stayand would stay here again."
