"Thank you for sharing your terrific accommodation. Although close to your own quarters it was very private and quiet. We really felt welcome in your home and found the suite to be perfect for our needs. The location was central with easy driving to numerous beaches, town and popular sites. We found the drives to the north and south comfortable day trips. The kitchen was well equipped and lacked nothing. The deck was our favorite spot, the view was expansive. We also very much enjoyed our visits with your friendly kitty. We felt right at home but much warmer! Thanks again, it was wonderful."

  • We loved this place - We recommend it to everyone

"I'm so glad that we "lucked out" in finding such a perfect condo to stay in for 3 weeks in/on Hawaii! I was a little worried about VBRO in the beginning; it seemed so sketchy to be trying to contact lots of individual owners, balancing dates, requirements & preferences, etc, all at the same time and coming up with what might be the best option for us. (I still think it is. Wish there were a better, more centralized system.) But in the end, all I can say is that we were lucky, and I am very grateful that this was a great place and all worked out well. Gayle was very easy to work with. The unit has absolutely everything a family could need -- lots of dishes & cookware (in a BIG kitchen!), 3 TVs, sports & beach gear, pretty & comfortable furniture. AND -- that lanai!! It really is as huge as advertised, with good furniture and a nice view (over the tops of about a zillion palm trees) to the ocean. We liked the location in Kaeuhou, although we did have to drive everywhere. We found that it's about 90-100 miles to Hilo, Kilauea, and Mauna Loa (LONG trips if you do it in one day and return). But we also took many other excursions to places closer such as Kona, Holualoa, small beaches & bays , Hawi/Kawahae and historical sites along the west coast. If you are an active bunch, this is a great home base. If you want to be more quiet and just laze away the days in warm sunshine & not do much, just stock up with the fresh food you like & you'll be very comfortable here. It's not a hotel here -- no one does the dishes for you -- but we think it's much better!"

  • Pure Bliss!!

"My husband and I recently returned from staying here and I just had to jump on and add my review!!! This condo was soooo amazing and I had to let others know what they are missing out on! We had the dreamiest vacation full of just about everything- relaxation, adventure, romance, fun, etc!! The condo was very clean and impressive and the property was very well taken care of and beautifully manicured. We enjoyed the comfort of it being a gated community. The condo was completely well stocked for everything we needed from kitchen tools to beach chairs to boogie boards! It was beautiful inside and out also and the back lanai was incredible. We spent many early mornings and sunsets out there enjoying the sounds, smells, and sights of the gorgeous ocean! We would recommend this to anyone looking for a blissful escape!"

  • comfortable overall

"Rating Details: I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. I was more than happy with the location. The vacation rental was spotless. The property manager was very helpful. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: House is well located and easy to get to from airport and other attractions. Really nice beach toys, chairs & towels provided. Bedrooms good size and comfortable, kitchen and bathrooms well equiped. Photo is somewhat deceiving as property is closely surrounded by other houses. Lovely large dining table on lanai but inadequate seating for 8 and no other suitable table any place else. Could use a coffee table in upstairs living room as well as non-skid strips in all tubs and a functioning can opener in the kitchen."

Other Kailua-Kona Properties Travel Tips

Experience Kailua-Kona Condo Rentals

Heading to the island of Hawaii for a much needed vacation is something that most people only dream about doing. By putting back a little money each week from your paycheck, you can make that dream a reality. The best way to take full advantage of your vacation is by staying in one of the many Kailua-Kona condo rentals. With amenities such as a Jacuzzi and multiple rooms, it's no wonder people are canceling their hotel rentals and going with Kailua-Kona vacation homes.

The Island of Hawaii Awaits

Tropical flowers, beautiful beaches and clear waters are some of the reasons why people flock to Hawaii. When you book one of the Kailua-Kona condo rentals for your vacation, this scenery could be awaiting you outside your front door. In fact, most condos feature a private balcony; some even overlook the ocean!

A great way to enjoy the island is by heading out to the beach to watch the sunset. Then, create a small campfire to help keep you warm from the breeze that floats in from the ocean. Roast a few marshmallows, make some s'mores and just spend time talking to the ones you love. Nothing makes a vacation better than being with people who share the same goals and desires as you.

Freedom to Live Like the Locals

Hotels can be described by three words: stuffy, cramped and impersonal. For a family, living in such a confined atmosphere can cause tension, something that's definitely not wanted on a vacation. With Kona Coast vacation rentals, your family can reside in harmony since most rentals are roomy enough for large groups.

To add to the experience, Kailua-Kona vacation homes have a home-like setting. Being able to cook your own meals and come and go as you please allows you the opportunity to live just like the locals.
