"We really loved this condo. Beautiful view of the ocean and the mountains. The lanai is wonderful and you also have a golf course behind you. It was excellent. It was our first time using VRBO so we weren't sure what to expect, but it was an excellent experience. I would definitely recommend it. I am disabled and cannot use stairs. This unit is a bridge unit, so even though it is on the second floor, you have no stairs. Fabulous. Also, it has full size washer and dryer. Excellent, too."

"This house is amazing for a wonderful Hawaiian getaway! Our party had 10 people and still felt like there was so much space in the house. The house is very private surrounded by acres of beautiful exotic plants, including tropical fruit trees. While still maintaining privacy, the backyard is wide open with a 180° elevated view of the ocean and faces west for gorgeous views of Kona sunsets. The shoreline is just minutes away which made it so convenient to enjoy snorkeling and paddle boarding anytime. After the beach, we'd go home to enjoy the rest of the afternoon in our private infinity swimming pool. It was so relaxing to watch the boats in the ocean with the backdrop of a beautiful sunset. There are many local restaurants nearby serving authentic Hawaiian food and Kona coffee farms which offer free coffee! The house caretaker, Adam, is a very nice and handsome young man (he's taken ladies) who will be there to help whenever you need. If you don't need him, you won't see him. If you want a rental house to feel like home (or even better), this is it. We hope to return someday soon to capture more wonderful memories."

"We rented Kona Calm for a two week stay for 6 people at a busy time in Kona. This location gave us the convenience of a close location to town with a bit of distance to allow a chance to enjoy paradise while quietly watching the sunset over the ocean. The house was used as home base for many explorations. The owner's book of local spots they enjoy was particularly helpful. The neighbourhood was quiet and safe. The use of the coolers and chairs for the beach was great. The house was big enough so if anyone wanted some "alone time", this was easily achievable. The closeness to the Queen K highway made getting to town quick and reasonably easy. We would definitely recommend KONA CALM to anyone we know heading to The Big Island and would also stay again if we ever find our way back. Mahalo Jeff & Nikki!"
