"My husband, teenagers and myself stayed for a week in this great condo! The location was ideal for several reasons. We loved being across from White Sands Beach (one of the best beaches on the island in our opinion), along Ali'i Drive for walking and exploring, and close enough to shopping/restaurants but not too close. Getting to Volcanoes National Park was an easy 2 hour drive, along with getting around to our zipline experience near Honomu, north of Hilo. Check our Skyline Eco Adventures if you are considering going ziplining. We also loved Bubba Gump Shrimp Co., Annie's Island Fresh Burgers and Kona Brewing Co. for meals out. If you want to do surf lessons, Kahalu'u Bay Surf and Sea is about a mile south and was great with our two teenagers!
The condo itself was perfect! We appreciated all of the recent updates throughout, including kitchen, bathrooms, carpeting and furniture. The other extras for the beach (chairs, umbrella, beach towels, cooler, etc) were so helpful. Even the kitchen was stocked with seasonings, condiments and paper products. Having central air was a luxury to use while inside the condo as well! The pool, hot tub, and barbecue area were very nice and not too crowded at all. We liked how you could sign up for a time to use the gas grills and pavilion. In all, the condo was a perfect fit for our family and made us feel very comfortable and at home.
Our Big Island vacation was awesome and created lots of family memories for years to come! I would highly recommend considering this condo for your vacation. I couldn't imagine anything nicer or more perfect for a family."

"We had a great time in Kona! The location of the condo we stayed in was just perfect, right across Magic Sands Beach, really close to a very nice snorkeling beach; close to all kinds of restaurants and shopping centers and most of all, the privacy of the unit, including great parking spot. The staff at White Sands Village condos were very nice and welcoming. I appreciate the fact that the owners took the time to send me great tips and suggestions of places to visit and things to do, which we did most of them and had a blast. The unit is very well kept and I liked that they have snorkeling gear available for tenants to use; that saved us money in renting. I definitely recommend this condo and would love to come back sometime in the near future."

"My family stayed for 2 weeks in this lovely condo. It was a good location, close to snorkel beach and directly across from magic sands beach. Sunsets were wonderful from the beach. Everything you need is waiting for you. Thank you for a wonderful vacation!"

"The location of this condo is ideal. Directly across the street from a beautiful beach(note waves can be a bit aggressive) and very close to town as well as more moderate priced dining and grocery.
The kitchen is very well stocked with all you would ever need, plus a few remnants of dry and cold items. The added bonus of a few coolers, snorkeling items and many beach towels was wonderful.
The décor is lovely, with a large patio and functional condo lay out.
Unfortunately we did not find the space to be very "comfortable". The mattresses throughout were not great. As an example in the master due to think egg crate on top we were not able to sleep near one another- you were pulled to the outside of the bed. As well the couches although adorable, were really stiff and scratchy. Although you do not go to Kona to hang out in bed or a living room it was kind of a bummer after a day exploring or swimming to not be able to relax.
Also, as an aside I was disappointed to find a sign attached to dryer saying it was not working. I encouraged limited packing and trying to dry clothing in the damp weather was a bit frustrating."
